"Please? I'll do anything you want, Yvette!!!" Lee Joon pleaded.
He gave her his best puppy eyes but it doesn't seem to work with his best friend, Yvette Williams. She glared at him as he explained his plan.
"You want me to be your fake girlfriend so Yeonseo unni would be jealous and come back to you?" She repeated his request.
"ARE YOU CRAZY?! She cheated on you!" She hissed.
"I love her, Yvette.. you know that." Lee Joon's smile fell.
Yvette can hear her heart crushed to pieces when she saw her best friend's sad face. She might hate Yeonseo with every inch of her body but Lee Joon loves her and there's nothing she can do but to let herself drowned in another heartbreak.
Yes. Yvette Williams is in love with her own best friend, lee joon and she has been keeping it a secret for years. She's the only one who stayed by his side when he got his heart broker, unaware how it hurts more for Yvette to see him in such condition. Yeonseo was the worst in her opinion. She went out with her colleague, Jangwoo behind lee Joon's back, despite the fact that Jangwoo was a married man.
"Fine." Yvette sighed.
Lee Joon smiled and gave her a bear hug, oblivious to Yvette's teary eyes.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow okay?" He suddenly said, abruptly pulling away from the hug.
Yvette furrowed her eyebrows and nod. Lee Joon never did that. He usually would spin her around as if she's some kind of teddy bear. He just left awkwardly, much to her confusion.

Lee Joon trashed in his bed, groaning in annoyance. His roommate, Thunder throw a pillow at him, telling him to shut up.
"I'm trying to sleep!" he said to Lee Joon.
"Yah, Thunder, i need your help." lee Joon whined.
"Go to g.o hyung. I'm tired." Thunder mumbled.
"Just this once, it's about Yvette." Thunder's eyes snapped open at the mention of his distant cousin's name.
"What about her?" he asked.
"I feel weird around her now." lee Joon said.
"weird?"
"I got butterflies and i feel so nervous all of a sudden. I asked her to be my fake girlfriend to make Yeonseo jealous today. and i hugged her but suddenly i felt this jolt... like some kind of electricity." He said.
Thunder laughed.
"What's so funny! HELP MEEEE..."
"Infatuation and love are two different things, Hyung. Love made you do weird things, made you feel weird things and what's important is that Love last forever. Infatuation is just temporary. when you realized who you actually need, you'll see the answer yourself. Now stop bothering me, i want to sleep." He said and closed his eyes.
"What?" He scratched his head in confusion before realization hits him.
"It can't be." He whispered, shaking his head.

"So? How are we going to do this?" Yvette weakly asked.
She has been crying the whole night, it's a miracle her eyes is not puffy this morning. Lee Joon blushed when Yvette stared into his eyes.
"I was wrong. Yeonseo is not going to be here. Let's just enjoy this day." He finds himself making a lame excuse.
Yeonseo will never go to the carnival. It's not her place, she always said. He knew she'll probably hanging out at Gangnam, enjoying her luxurious life. Thankfully Yvette bought his excuse and just shrugged.
He can see her expression brightened as they entered the carnival and played games. He always enjoyed the times he spent with her. She's the only girl he can be comfortable with. But as the thought came, he frowned. Despite the comfortable feeling, he felt anxious and the butterflies in his stomach seemed to doubled when he heard her tinkling laughter.
"Come on!" Yvette has forgotten about Yeonseo and planned to enjoyed the rest of the day with Lee Joon.
Lee Joon smiled and followed her as she ran to the next booth. Thunder's words kept lingering in his mind and when Yvette called him, it's when he knew. He doesn't need a perfect looking woman. He needs someone that would love him for who he is. And Yvette is the perfect person for that.
"How can i be so stupid." He mumbled, troubled at how he should confess.

"Are you okay? Do you want to go home?" Yvette worriedly asked.
They've been in the carnival for hours. It's 6 p.m and the carnival was about to close. Yvette noticed how lee joon kept day dreaming and lost in his thought. Lee Joon shook his head and smiled at her, causing her to blushed.
Did he just make her blush? he thought and a grin came to his face as he took her hand.
"Let's go to that Ferris wheel before it closes." Lee Joon said.
"o-okay." Yvette stammered and smiled as she saw her hand fits perfectly with his.

Yvette furrowed her eyebrows, watching Lee Joon fidgeted in his seat.
"Are you okay?" She asked as the ride started to move.
He took a deep breath and stared into her hazel eyes. A surge of calmness washed over him as he saw her smile.
"It might sound stupid. but listen to me, okay? " he started.
She nodded.
"I've always thought that i need a girl that's perfect, like how yeonseo is. With model like body, small pointy nose, big eyes, long hair. But i was wrong. I was so wrong and i was so stupid for not realizing it earlier." he said and stared into her eyes.
"All i need is someone who could love me for who i am, who would accept my flaws. And after the talk with Thunder, i realized that what i felt for Yeonseo is just an infatuation. Love... love made you feel weird things, made you weird things." he chuckled.
"And i realized that i felt that with you, Yvette Williams." he gently said, taking her hands.
"I know i'm an idiot. I'm not perfect and i'm clumsy but this idiot has realized that he really loves you." He whispered, looking down nervously.
"You're an idiot." Yvette said.
Lee Joon looked up and saw her crying.
"Why are you crying?" he asked, wiping the tears off her face.
"Do you know how long i've been waiting for that?" She smiled as more tears fell down.
He stopped his movement and stared back at her, a smile slowly crept up his face. He cupped her cheeks and slowly leaned in.
Right when their lips touch, he felt it. The sparks, the fireworks, the indescribable feeling people used to say.
"I love you, yvette. I'm sorry it took a long time for me to realize this but i promise i will always love you and i will make up for all the time i've been an idiot, not realizing this feeling." he said.
"I love you too, lee Joon." Yvette smiled
