Can I Have This Dance? [Discontinued]
“Sorin… How could you do this to me? How could you? How could you?” Melissa kept asking me in her hospital bed, “Look at what you’ve done! I can’t dance anymore! You ruined my life!”
“I don’t want to see you again. You’re fired!” Harris yelled,
I wanted to scream out my innocent! I wanted everyone to hear me! But no matter how hard I was screaming, no sound was coming out of my mouth.
“Sorin…” I heard a voice and turned to them, “Did you do this?” Jason asked,
I shook my head, wanting to tell him I was innocent,
“I thought I knew you,” he said shooting me an accusing eye, which broke me, “You’re disgusting!” he said and walked away,
I ran after him, but he was getting farther and farther I couldn’t reach him,
“You’re a shame!”
“Go to hell!”
“You monster!”
“Are you even human?”
“Get lost!”
Voices rang into my head and I clenched my eyes, curling into a small ball as I tried to hush these voices away, but they got louder. I was going crazy! I was already crazy!
“NO! NO! I didn’t! I didn’t do anything!”
“NO!” I screamed as I opened my eyes.
My vision was blurry, tears running down my cheeks, mixing with the sweat rolling from my forehead. I was shaking and panting. It took me a while to realize where I was. I was in the bus to home, curl up against the window because of the temperature. I must have fallen asleep during the trip.
It was just a nightmare…
It took me even more time to realize where the bus was. The sky was dark and all the seats were empty, I was the only one left in the bus. Even the driver was missing. I looked at my watch. It was midnight. MIDNIGHT!!
Where am I? What is this place? Why didn’t anyone wake me up?
I got up, whipped my tears away as I tried to concentrate and make things clear. I made my way the door only to find them tightly closed. I was locked in the bus.
Call someone!
I took my phone out and dialed Eunhyuk’s number quickly but calmly. It picked up quick but it wasn’t my brother, who greeted me,
“Your carrier is off serving. Please try again later.”
Indeed, the reception in this area seemed to be very bad. The screen flashed me an alert: 136 missed calls, 128 voice mails, and 87 text messages, all from the members, Minhee Unni and Yun.
Okay… So I’m lost, in the middle of nowhere. Locked in a bus where I can’t call anyone. Alone. Sick. This couldn’t have been better…
But even my unfunny self-humor couldn’t keep me from cracking. In the next second, I burst into tears, sobbing against the door and screaming for help, hoping anyone who passed by would hear me.
I was scared. That’s the word. I was scared of being left alone. I was scared I would never get out of here. I hated loneliness. I hated silence. I didn’t feel safe.
I tried calling for my brother or any member about a 100 more times without success. I even dialed 911. But eventually I gave up and fell asleep on the back seats, exhausted from the cold, the screaming, and the crying…

(Kyuhyun POV)
“You called her here while she was sick?” Minhee Noona scolded her sister,
“So what? She just had a headache,” she shrugged,
I wanted to strangle her right now. Since I arrived at the agency I couldn’t stand her.
“She didn’t just have a headache Minhwa!”
“She has a cold. But I think it’s more than that ‘cause her temperature was too high for a simple cold,” I said calmly,
She shrugged again, “That’s not my problem,” she said, got up and left the room.
I wished Donghae were here to see how his crush acted when he wasn’t around… Some members went back home in case Sorin would comeback. Only Leeteuk, Ryeowook, Shindong, Eunhyuk and I stayed at the SM building, trying to find out where Sorin went.
“WHERE THE HELL IS SHE?” Eunhyuk finally cracked. He’s been really quiet since we figured out she was missing,
“It’s already 3AM…” Leeteuk sighed from the couch,
“I’m worried about her. She’s sick and alone somewhere out there,” Ryeowook said,
“What did her friend say?” Leeteuk asked,
“If you’re asking about Yun, she said that after 2 hours of practice, the team told her to go home to rest. That’s all she knows,” Minhee Noona, said, “I’m sorry, it’s my fault! I should’ve been there,” she said clenching her phone in her hand,
“It’s not your fault Noona,” I reassured her,
Compared to her sister, Minhee was much more of an angel. She’s nice and caring, the total opposite of Minhwa.
“We need to call the police!” Eunhyuk panicked,
“She hasn’t been missing for 24 hours yet. They won’t do anything,” Shindong said,
“But she’s alone somewhere in Seoul. A fragile girl in the middle of the night!” Eunhyuk yelled,
“Hyuk-ah. Calm down. I’m sure she’s fine! Sorin’s a big girl,” Leeteuk said,
“She’s afraid,” he muttered,
“Huh?”
“Sorin is afraid of being alone,” he sighed seating next to Leeteuk, “Back when we were kids, I was out to practice, Noona was at school and my parents were at work. Sorin was alone at home. That day the house had been broken and those bastard tied her up and locked her under the stairs. When we got back home, we found a real mess and Sorin was so afraid that she stayed mute for 2 days,” Eunhyuk explained, a tear escaping his eyes, “I promised myself to never leave her alone again,” he groaned,
“It’s not your fault either Hyung,” Ryeowook came,
What he said made me even more worried. Now I know why she’s reluctant when we leave her alone at home. But still she had her phone to call us, thing she couldn’t do when she was litlle. But now she’s in that same situation. I was afraid something bad could happen to her.
We waited 1 or 2 more hours. Ryeowook had passed out on the couch and Minhee went back home.
Something was wrong. Why were we waiting here? Shouldn’t we be looking for her instead? But where should we be looking?
“How does she usually go back home when we can’t give her a ride?” I suddenly asked,
“She usually takes the bus,” Eunhyuk said with a shaky voice,
“Which line?” I asked,
“Line 73,” he sighed. But then his head jerked up, his eyes wide as he realized what I meant, “She took the bus home…”
“And what do you do when you’re sick?” I said,
“You sleep…” Leeteuk murmured, “She must have missed her stop!”
“Where does this line end?” Shindong asked, alerted,
“I don’t know…”
Then something unexpected happened. My phone rang. It rang and the ID showed Sorin’s number.
