Dara and Jiyong walked side by side along the busy streets of Myeongdong. It was still so early in the morning yet people are already out and about. They had to disguise themselves so that fans won’t be able to recognise them. Causing a commotion is the last thing they have in mind.  The two decided to eat their breakfast at Caffe Benne. Upon being seated by the waiter, Dara couldn’t help but feel a little awkward. Jiyong on the other hand, kept his head bowed down.

Dara heaved a sigh and decided to break the ice between them. She eyed Jiyong with a hint of worry on her angelic face. “Jiyong-ah, gwenchana?” She murmured softly.

Jiyong had to shut his eyes. Her voice is so sweet against his ears. “Neh.” He slowly looked up and smiled brightly.

Dara smiled “What would you like to order?”

Jiyong’s stomach growled loudly as soon as he eyed the menu.

Dara pursed her lips to stop herself from laughing.

“Sorry. I’d like a French toast please.” He whispered, obviously embarrassed.

Several minutes later, a handsome man approached their table. “Annyeong haseyo, je ireumeun Kim Soo Hyun immida. How can I take your order agassi?” the man winked at Dara.

Jiyong glared at the waiter. What on earth is this punk doing?

“Uh, can we have an order of French toast, 2 Belgian croissants and a bowl of fruit salad please.”

The waiter looked giddy he jotted down their order. He ignored Jiyong whose eyes continued to shoot daggers. Thankfully, he was wearing his oversized glasses. Jiyong was so focused on mentally killing the poor guy however, he was suddenly interrupted by Dara.

“Jiyong, this is Earth calling.” She snapped her fingers in front of his face.

“Neh?” He stuttered.

“I said, are you okay with what I just ordered?”

“Uh. Yeah.” He entwined his fingers and looked at Dara.

The two stared at each other for a brief moment. Dara suddenly felt hot and blushed profusely.  Her heart is making that weird sound again. Thump Thump

Jiyong cleared his throat and looked away. Stay cool Ji.

“Would that be all? What would you like to drink, miss beautiful?” The waiter said playfully and winked at Dara.

Jiyong shivered and clenched his fists from under the table.

“I’ll have a caramel macchiato. How about you Jiyong?”

“I’ll have the same, thanks.” Jiyong said bluntly. .

The waiter rolled his eyes and immediately hurried away.

“Jiyong, are you sure you’re okay?” Dara had to ask twice since Jiyong looked like he’s being bothered by something or rather by someone.

“I’m fine.” He lied. To be honest, seeing the waiter’s action towards Dara made his blood boil.

Dara played with the hem of her hoodie. “Look, if you don’t want to do the project together, it’s fine.”

“Ani, it’s not that. I just feel overwhelmed that you and I are finally friends.”

“Chincha? Then why do you look like you’re about to murder someone?” She smirked.

“Eh?”

“Just kidding.” Dara grinned.

Their order didn’t take long at all and as soon as it was delivered to their table, Dara clapped her hands happily.

“Ah so hungry.” She smiled whilst tapping both of her cheeks.

Jiyong couldn’t help but laugh at her dorkiness.

“Jiyong, eat palli before your food turns cold.” Dara pushed his plate.

Jiyong picked up his fork and stuffed the food in his mouth. “Can I ask you a question?”

Dara looked hesitant at first but eventually nodded.

“How come you forgive people easily? Like me.”

 “I don’t want to live with hate Jiyong ah.” She murmured.

“But you’re supposed to make me suffer.”

Dara shook her head. “Ani. I’m not that kind of person. But if you really want to know I did want to take revenge on you before.”

Jiyong took a sip of his hot drink. “Why didn’t you?”

“Because I’m not the type who seeks revenge. I know it sounds insane but I don’t want to do things which I know I will regret later.” Dara said softly.

Jiyong was about to say something when Dara cut him off. “Didn’t I say let’s start anew? Forget what happened between us in the past.” Dara held her hand to Jiyong and gave him an encouraging smile. “Friends?” 

Jiyong grinned, held out his hand and accepted hers. “Friends.”

As days passed by, the two became more comfortable with one another. They even managed to exchange numbers. YG was very pleased at their blossoming friendship. Big Bang on the other hand, couldn’t help but feel a little jealous over their closeness. Taeyang even started to complain how Jiyong is slowly taking Dara away from him.

[Dara’s POV]

I was taking a break from my dance practice when I saw Jiyong enter the room. He took me by surprise when he grabbed my hand and dragged me outside. I heard my back-up dancers gasped. 

“Where are we going?” I groaned in an attempt to try and catch my breath.

He remained silent and kept walking whilst holding my hand tightly.

“Jiyong. What’s wrong?” I whined. To be honest, he’s acting really weird today.

He let go of my hand and smiled. “Nothing. I just wanted to take you out from that practice room.”

“Waeyo?” I furrowed my eyebrows. He’s really confusing me.

“Just felt like it” 

“You’re silly, you know that?”

I was about to head back to the practice room when I caught CL running towards my direction.

“Dara unnie!”

“Gwenchana? Why on earth are you running?” I asked.

“Sajangnim.wants.you.and.jiyong.oppa.in.his.office.now” she panted.

I looked at Jiyong, who immediately shrugged then back to CL. This can’t be good. “Gomawo.” I bowed.

CL must’ve read my facial expression. “Don’t worry unnie, you’re not in trouble. He just wanted to discuss both of your upcoming schedules.”

[YG’s POV]

I was busy analysing the financial records when I heard a faint knock at the door. “Come in.”

Jiyong and Dara entered and stood in the middle of my office with their heads bowed. 

“Are we in trouble?” Dara whispered.

“Ani. I just wanted to let you know that the producers of We Got Married rang this morning.”

Jiyong slumped himself on the couch. “What did they say?”

“Filming starts tomorrow.” I flipped by book closed and watched the two and based on their facial expressions, it seemed that they have forgotten about We Got Married completely.
