"Where did Yura Unnie go?" A young, curious voice asked. Seohyun, at the age of seven, watching her mother sit by the window and sigh. Her mother smiled, but in a dreamy and sad way. Seohyun didn't understand why she looked like that, her mother picking the younger up and seating her on her lap.

"She left." Seohyun's mother replied, soft, causing Seohyun to tilt her head. Yura was Seohyun's older cousin, her favourite cousin.She was 18, and fresh out of school.Yura always came around to play with Seohyun, and she really liked to be with her.

Seohyun stared at her mother questioningly, "Why?"

Her mother could only only continue to give a nostalgic smile.

"Because Yura wanted to be with Youngjae, but nobody else agreed."

Youngjae was Yura's boyfriend, three or four years older than Yura herself. Seohyun remembered seeing him, and she didn't think anything was wrong with him. Seohyun knew that nobody wanted Yura to call Youngjae her boyfriend, but did not understand that concept entirely. "Why not?"

Her mother pulled her in close. "Because Youngjae isn't as smart as Yura, he doesn't even have a job yet."

"Why does Yura Unnie want to be with Youngjae Oppa then?" Seohyun continued to ask. If nobody wanted them together, why did Yura like Youngjae?

Seohyun could feel her mother's arms tighten softly around her.

"Because Yura knows she'll only meet a person like Youngjae once in her life." She muttered, to which Seohyun stared up at her mother wide-eyed.

"Once?"

An adoringly amused expression crossed her mother's face as she spoke, "You only ever meet that person once."

"What person?" Seohyun asked, her mother softly her hair.

She replied, "The special one, the most beautiful person in the world."

Seohyun scrunched up her face in confusion. She didn't understand that either. She stared, "He's the most beautiful person in the world?"

"Dear," Seohyun's mother coosed, "there are many 'most beautiful people in the world'."

Seohyun shook her head at this, it didn't make sense. She argued, "No, there can only be one. The most beautiful."

Her mother laughed softly, "But there are many, Joohyun."

"How?" Seohyun questioned with her expression still scrunched up. Her mother simple shook her head.

"You'll understand when you're older."

Seohyun didn't want to stop talking yet. Stubborness was a prominent trait of her's. Seohyun asked, "Is Yura Unnie with Youngjae Oppa because he's beautiful?"

"Maybe." Her mother replied, to which Seohyun gazed questioningly.

"Boys can't be beautiful, that's only for girls."

Another soft laugh was heard, as Seohyun's mother rocked her gently. "To Yura, he is."

Seohyun thought about this for a second, but didn't understand so she moved on. Though, she couldn't help but wonder, "Why did Unnie leave? Why did Oppa go with her? Why aren't they coming back? Why did they not tell anyone? Why did-"

Seohyun's mother answered all her questions with a single reason.

"Because they love each other."

Love? Why was love making them do strange things? Why did love make them leave? Seohyun stared at her mother, "I don't understand."

Her mother replied gently, "When you love someone, it's all very confusing. But whether or not you're happy or sad doesn't matter. You will always want to be with that person."

"Forever?" Seohyun asked back, her mother nodding with another smile.

"Forever." She said. " Even if you can't be with that person, you'll try to find a way. And sometimes that way means leaving everyone else behind, like Yura and Youngjae did."

Seohyun whispered, "Is it worth it?"

Her mother nodded.

"Everything is worth it for love."

"So when I get older, I should try to always be with that person?" Seohyun questioned once again, the thought of her little daughter with someone making her mother feel a little flushed for a second, shortly before regaining her composure. 

"If that's what makes you happy. But if the person you love doesn't make you happy, you're not loving the right person." Seohyun's mother said. It all became very confusing at this point for a seven year old Seohyun to listen to, so she simply nodded before saying this:

"I'll look for the most beatifulest person in the world, then I'll love him, and he'll love me."

As Seohyun and Kyuhyun exited the van, she couldn't help but remember that discussion. It was as if, after all these years, the hidden meaning of her mother's words had come to light, the meaning of her cousin's actions finally being understood.

Seohyun shyly glanced at Kyuhyun, whose pale skin was highlighted by the sun. A light blush spread through her cheeks once again, Seohyun looking to the ground in attempt to hide it.

"Joohyun?" Kyuhyun called her name questioningly at her actions, and to that, sSeohyun couldn't help but respond. After all, he had called her so gently. And there was nothing sweeter than being called by the one you love. Kyuhyun's voice was like honey, and she had become entrapped in him. So completely, hopelessly, entrapped. 

Seohyun gazed up for a second, meeting his eyes, which made her flush even more. And she couldn't even help it, or hide it this time. It felt as if Kyuhyun were staring into her soul, the deepest and darkest corners of her mind. Seohyun shivered, unable to look away from Kyuhyun's dark orbs.

Yes, she had done it.

She had found her most beautiful person in the world.
