Hyoyeon woke up unlike any other day today and she felt weird about it. On the right side of the bed, she found it to be empty. No Taeyeon beside her. When she looked around her room, it was empty. It felt empty. No Taeyeon around. Hyoyeon took a few moments to register the odd atmosphere; odd because it was rare to not have a wide awake Taeyeon staring at her until she wakes up. They usually took half an hour to get out from bed but now, Hyoyeon was already heading off to the showers.

“That was fresh.” Hyoyeon commented to no one as she got out from the bathroom, only in her towel. She was about to head back inside her bedroom but she bumped into Taeyeon who was coming out from it. “Oh!”

Taeyeon managed to break before she ran over her own girlfriend. Once she took a good look at them, she gulped nervously as her eyes were stuck on Hyoyeon’s cleavage that was showing. “M–My lo–Hyoyeon!”

Hyoyeon?

“Hmm?” Hyoyeon blinked in confusion, wondering why Taeyeon called her by her name instead of her pet name. But it didn’t took her that much time to realize that today was the day. She curved into an ‘O’ shape and gave a grin to the pouting dork who have their cheeks flushed terribly. “Hi. Good morning.”

“M–Morning. I uh…” Taeyeon bit her lower lip as she scratched the back of her head. “I gotta go and make breakfast!” She hurriedly dashed to the kitchen while squealing in troubled.

Hyoyeon heard her dork was screaming for her name at the kitchen in a whiny tone. She couldn’t help but to laugh at that. “Let the day begins.” She headed inside her room, putting on her clothes before joining the dork at the kitchen for breakfast.

To Taeyeon’s content, today was her day off as well as Hyoyeon’s day off. However to her disappointment, today was also the day she challenged herself to only see Hyoyeon as one of her close friends; like the others. And yes, it was very hard. She blamed herself for wanting to try it out after knowing Yuri accomplished to do the same to Yoona. It wasn’t that hard, Yuri said to her. Heck, it was really hard! Said from the person who couldn’t even go through a day without kissing and cuddling their girlfriend.

But now here’s Taeyeon. Trying her best not to do her usual routine as Hyoyeon’s favourite Hyobsessive dork. “So uhm….” She cleared loudly to grab Hyoyeon’s attention from eating. Yet she felt hopeless the moment Hyoyeon’s eyes landed at hers. “W–What are you planning to do today?”

“Hmm…” Hyoyeon began to wonder. She hadn’t thought of it yet. Taeyeon’s ridiculous challenge ruined her plans to have some fun with them yet she kind of regretted agreeing to this challenge. But she wanted to know how Taeyeon would survive this day anyway. Also for herself of course. They just couldn’t keep themselves from each other and this was a great idea to know their limit of resisting.

“How about have an ice cream with me?” Taeyeon chirped happily but dropped her shoulders sadly when she realized something. “A–As friends of course…”

Hyoyeon smiled. Her dork was just so cute. “But it’s still early to have ice cream, Taetae.”

Taeyeon pouted at her girlfriend’s reply. “Then let’s head to the mall or something.”

“Okay. We’ll leave in an hour.” Hyoye
