CH47: The Grudge?!

Yoona slowly removed herself from Yuri’s embrace and tip-toed her way out of the room. She closed the door gently behind her and ran to the kitchen where she met up with Sooyoung. “Yah!” Yoona pulled a stool to sit on next to her shikshin buddy before snatching the bag of chips from Sooyoung. “This is mine!”

Sooyoung swallowed her chips with a grumpy pouting expression. “I thought we agreed to share our late-night snacks!”

“But you were eating it without waiting for me!” Yoona ate a little and both of them fell into a silence atmosphere feat Yoona’s munching her crispy chips. It wasn’t long until they both shared a hug together, feeling guilty all of the sudden. “Okay, Youngie is sorry for eating it without waiting for Yoong.” Sooyoung admitted, making Yoona smiled and shared the chips again.

The atmosphere went back to normal as usual. “I’ve just remembered something. Did you and Yul prank my Sicachu again?! Her make-up table was filled with cucumbers earlier!” Yoona laughed mischievously and received a light push on the shoulder by Sooyoung. “Yah! You guys did that, right?! Aish!”

“She was the victim of the day.” Yoona flashed an innocent smile. “We’re sorry~”

Sooyoung took a moment to look at Yoona with glare before she sighed in defeat at Yoona’s smile. “It’s okay. At least I get kisses from my Sicachu as a reward for cleaning up the mess.” Yoona punched lightly on Sooyoung’s arm. “You’re welcome, unnie! We would love to prank Sica unnie every day if we have to so you can have your Sica-kisses hmm~?” She said in playful way, making Sooyoung to do a head-lock on her.

“Don’t you dare!”

“Youngie unnie! I’m just playing around ha-ha!”

“....GrrooooaaaaRrrRrrr....”

The shikshin froze from their spots as they looked at each other in confusion. “Did you fart?” Sooyoung questioned and got her face pushed away by the shy Yoona. Before Yoona could say anything, the unexplained mysterious groan came again for the second time, shocking them. “W–what was that?” Sooyoung was already hugging Yoona since she was scared. Yoona grabbed a fork and was about to head to the living room but Sooyoung stopped her. “Yah! Are you crazy?!”

Yoona gave a quick hug of comfort for Sooyoung. “Don’t worry unnie, I’ll be back in a few seconds.” She left before Sooyoung could pull her again. Sooyoung sat back on her stool as her eyes were fixed at the hallway, concern and scared on what might happen to Yoona. Suddenly there was a thud that made Sooyoung to jump on her feet in startled. “Y–Yoong? Are you dead...?”

The hallway was still empty until Yoona walked out, covering her face with her hair while aiming the fork on Sooyoung. “AH! YOONG!” Sooyoung quickly hid behind the kitchen counter, making Yoona to burst out laughing. Sooyoung heard the laughing choding and stood up from hiding with a disappointing look. “It’s not funny!”

“But you are!” Yoona laughed some more before she ceased it to go and gave Sooyoung another hug. “I’m sorry unnie! I’m just messing with ya~” She pinched Sooyoung’s cheeks once they broke the hug. Sooyoung sighed at the choding. “So, where is that sound coming from?” Yoona shook her head in denial, not knowing about the sound but something made Sooyoung confused.

“Then....what was that loud thud I heard earlier?”

Yoona took a moment to remember and flashed a smile once she figured out what Sooyoung meant. “Oh! That’s just me tripping over Taetae unnie’s action figure.” Sooyoung exhaled a sigh of relief and was about to say something until–“....GrrooooaaaaRrrRrrr....” The shikshins had their spines straighten up when the groan gave those chills all over again.

“....GrrooooaaaaRrrRrrr....”

“I–It’s still there....” Sooyoung went back on linking her arm with Yoona, who was still holding a fork. “Let’s go and check it out one more time.” Yoona said as she decided to bring Sooyoung with her. They slowly entered the quiet living room before Sooyoung let out a yelp when the groan was on it again. Yoona hit on Sooyoung and gave a sharp whisper, “Be quiet, unnie!”
