CH35: Special Days

Special Day 1#: Belated Youngie Day

RING! The school bell rang, telling the students it was recess time. Soon the canteen was packed with students, queuing to get their meals but not all of them. Some have their own food they brought from home and some didn’t want to eat as they were at the field, playing in groups. After Hyo had got her meal, she went to class as she forgot something important. “Oh?” Hyo spotted a friend of hers was alone in her classroom. It seems like the girl was busy with something.

“Sica yah?” Hyo put down her meal on Sica’s table as she took a seat in front of Sica. “What are you doing here all alone?”

“Hyo!” Sica gave up on whatever she was doing. She gave a pout to the person in front of her. “Help me to wrap this gift?”

Hyo insisted to help and didn’t mind when Sica took half of her meal. Friends always do that anyway. “For Youngie?” She eyed on Sica while her hands were doing the wrapping work. “It’s her birthday today, right?”

Sica nodded approvingly. “I’m supposed to go and find her now but I forgot to wrap her gift last night. I went to bed early!” She huffed before taking a bite on her food. “I wonder why I’m always tired.....” The princess started to doze off while staring at the class window. Hyo smiled at her friend’s comment and quickly finished wrapping the gift.

When she had finished with it, she playfully knocked on Sica’s forehead. “Done done done!”

Sica snapped back to reality and happy to see that the gift is ready. “Yay! Thanks, Hyohyo!” She jumped off from her seat, gave a kiss to Hyo on the cheek and off she went to find the shikshin. Hyo just shrugged and took her water bottle before meeting back with Taetae outside the school.

“Youngie chu!” Sica finally spotted her partner after a few walkthrough around her the school compound. Youngie was sitting on stairs that led up to the rooftop of the school. She was busy staring at the cookies in front of her with a serious expression. “What are you doing here?” Sica sat next to Youngie, placing the gift on her laps.

“I was waiting for Sica chu. I’m sorry that I forgot to tell you that we should meet up here.” They shared kisses on cheeks for each other before Youngie’s eyes fell on the gift that Sica was holding. “Sooooo! Is that for meeee?”

Sica laughed. “Yes, it is!” She opened her arms wide, offering a hug to the happy shikshin. “Happy Birthday, Youngie chu! I hope this gift is worth it because I don’t know what to give you.” Youngie accepted the hug and they were inside each others’ embraces for a moment. It’s a good thing only several students were passing by the place. They haven’t revealed their relationship yet except for the shameless Taetae and shy Hyo though.

“I love you,” Youngie whispered before parting from the hug. “Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy!” She started to unwrap the gift nicely since she knew Sica had worked hard enough to find her a gift and wrap it. Well, she got the wrapping part wrong though. She pulled out the gift from the box and revealed that she got a mini Woody doll holding a heart with Sica’s name on it.

Youngie just stared at the doll in disbelief. Sica thought Youngie didn’t like it but Youngie started to squeal happily suddenly. “Woah! Do you like it, my shikshin?” Youngie nodded rapidly. “Sica chu! I love it! I love it because it’s Woody and it has your name on the centre of the heart!” Sica let out a sigh of relief. She was relieved that she didn’t have to go and search for food coupons again.

“I’m glad you love it, Youngie chu.” Sica planted a kiss on Youngie’s cheek before she huffed once again. “I couldn’t find something food-related for you this time.”
