So what if I'm not "feminine" enough?
Description
Kim Hana is an average Korean girl. Well, scratch that. Besides being labelled and having a physical outlook of a female, Hana is a tad bit different from the rest of the female population out there. She is slightly blunt, sarcastic, and witty and does not really stick to the feminine side. She prefers comfortable sweaters, jeans and sneakers instead of flowy dresses and heels. She prefers spending most of her time alone with coffee and books rather than mixing around with humans.
As she grew older; which she is turning 20 the next year, most of her friends have decided which path to take on to work towards their future. This indirect pressure causes Hana to take one of the biggest decision ever. In her mind, "I just have to get that damn degree and I am done!" That's what spurs her to be where she is right now. Without knowing, getting a degree is not as easy as it seems, especially when you have something to distract you, something called love or whatever you youngsters called it nowadays!
Foreword
"Soyou ah, do well when you are there. Don't let all the hard work that you have been working on for so long to just fly out of the window just like that!" I said as I wipe my tears away with the back of my hand.
"Aishhh, why are you crying! I know I know. I will work hard. You have to work hard too, Hana. Stop waiting and go for what you want! I know you have it in you, just be brave enough to go towards your dream, like me!" replied Soyou as she pulled me into a tight hug.
"I promise to visit you in Germany. Wait for me okay." I said as I took a last good look of her pretty face.
Without knowing, I started crying again.
"YAH STOP CRYING WILL YOU! I AM NOT GOING TO DIE YET! AISHHHHH!" replied Soyou as she harshly wipe away my tears.
"YAH BE FEMINE A BIT WILL YOU! STOP SCREAMING! SO MUCH FOR CALLING YOURSELF A LADY!" I replied harshly.
"Yah, look who is talking eh?" replied Soyou as her lips pulled into a corner and we both burst out laughing.
"Aishhhh. I'll miss you! Promise me you'll take care of yourself mhm?" I said as I pulled her in for a hug again.
"Don't worry about me, worry about yourself instead. You can't even survive a day without having mini accidents!" Soyou replied as she gave me a peek on the cheek.
"Call me once you reach okay! Saranghae!" I said as I pulled her for a final tight hug.
