A week had passed and no one, including the producer, had seen or heard from Sooyoung.

The show continued one member down, but all the girls were visibly worried.

"Tell us again what happened between you and Sooyoung before she left." - Dara

"Nothing!  All I asked her was if I had done anything wrong since she had been avoiding me!  She eventually just said that she thought that maybe we just weren't meant to be friends and then left." - Bora.

"Well, I hope she comes back soon.  It is depressing here without her." - Jihyo

The members became so desperate that they finally, after a week, called the girls from SNSD, but they hadn't seen or heard from her either.

After leaving the apartment, Sooyoung burst into tears.  She sobbed as she walked down street, with no destination in mind.  Eventually she came to a park.  She mindlessly entered the park and sat on a swing.  She finally stopped crying and said aloud, "This is too much.  I can't go back to the apartment until I am over Bora.  My heart aches everytime I look at her.  I know the girls will worry, but this is for everybody's own good."

With that in mind, Sooyoung left the park and went to the nearest store.  There she bought a disguise so that no one would notice her.  She then went to the bank and took out a lot of cash.  After wandering the streets of Busan for a while she finally came upon a nice hotel.  She entered the hotel and asked for a room.  The nice man behind the counter slid papers to Sooyoung and asked her to fill them out.  After filling in the blanks with a lot of false information, the man passed her a key and said that room 306 was vacant.

Sooyoung entered room 306 and laid down on the bed.  And for the past week this is where Sooyoung has been - in hiding at the hotel, trying to forget all about Bora.

Luna had called Yuri from SNSD, and after explaining the situation, she asked if Yuri had heard from or seen Sooyoung.

After hanging up with Luna, Yuri became really worried.  Sooyoung was not the type to just disappear without letting anybody know where she was going.  Yuri immediately picked up the phone and called Sooyoung, but there was no answer.  She tried dialing the number again.  Still no answer.  She tried another 20 times and just as she was about to give up, she heard a voice on the other line...

"Hello." - Sooyoung

"Where the hell are you Sooyoung?  Everybody is worried.  Nobody has seen or heard from you in a week!" - Yuri

"Calm down Yuri.  I'm fine.  I just couldn't take it there anymore." - Sooyoung

"Well where are you?  I should call The Girls' House members and let them know you are alright." - Yuri

"No, don't, please.  I still need some time to myself." - Sooyoung

"Did something happen there?  You can tell me Sooyoung.  We're friends." - Yuri

Not being able to keep it to herself anymore, Sooyoung decided to tell Yuri everything...

"Actually, yes.  I sort of have feelings for Bora.  Strong feelings actually.  So when I saw Bora making out with a boy at the club, it really broke my heart.  So for a month I avoided her, but a week ago she confronted me.  I didn't know what else to do so I just ran out of the apartment.  While I was out though, I decided that I needed to leave until I was over her.  So I've been at a hotel trying to get over my feelings." - Sooyoung

"Wait...you like girls?  YOU like BORA?" - Yuri

"Sigh, I really didn't think I liked girls.  But I was immediately attracted to Bora.  I don't know what's happening to me!" - Sooyoung

"Ah, sorry Sooyoung.  I didn't mean to sound unsympathetic.  I just didn't realize you liked girls.  Anyways, if you like her, you should be honest.  Even if she rejects you, at least you will know how she feels.  I don't think sitting in a hotel room hoping that you'll forget about her is going to help anyone." - Yuri

"Maybe you are right.  I just am so scared.  I have never had these feelings for anyone.  And if she really does reject me, I don't know what I'll do..." - Sooyoung

"If she rejects you, come back to your real home.  We (SNSD) will take care of you." - Yuri

"Okay, thanks Yuri." - Sooyoung

"Good luck!" - Yuri

After hanging up the phone, Sooyoung decided to take Yuri's advice.  She decided that she needed to stop being a coward.  With this in mind, she headed back to apartment 5017.

[Sooyoung knock's on the door]

[Jiyoon looks through the peep hole]

"Oh my god!  Sooyoung is back" - Jiyoon

Jiyoon immediately opens the door and puts her arms around Sooyoung.

"We were so worried about you!" - Luna

"Yeah, I'm sorry that I worried you all.  I was just going through a rough time and needed to collect myself." - Sooyoung

"It's okay, we're just glad you are home now." - Dara

"Yes, very glad." - Jihyo

Sooyoung looked around and noticed that Bora wasn't around, so she asked the other girls, "Hey, where is Bora at?"  Jiyoon told her that she was in their room sleeping.

Sooyoung headed to room 3 and quietly entered.  She smiled as she looked at Bora sleeping soundly on the bed.  As Sooyoung approached the bed, Bora suddenly woke up.

"Sooyoung, you're back?" - Bora

"Yeah, I just got back.  I'm sorry though, I didn't mean to wake you." - Sooyoung

Bora sat up in bed and motioned for Sooyoung to sit next to her.  Sooyoung apprehensively & slowly sat down on the bed.

"So, where did you go?" - Bora

"I was at a hotel collecting my thoughts.  I'm sorry that I worried everyone." - Sooyoung

"Is everything okay now?  If there is anything you need to talk about I will listen." - Bora

"Actually, there is something that I need to tell you.  Please just listen." - Sooyoung

Bora had a puzzled face, but nodded at Sooyoung's request.

"Sooo, you were right.  I had been avoiding you...I actually left the apartment, because I couldn't stand to be near you..." - Sooyoung

Sooyoung must have taken too long of a pause before continuing, because before she could finish her sentence, Bora backhanded her and stormed out of the room.  Sooyoung just sat there, dumbfounded and hurt.  She rubbed her cheek and started sobbing.  As she was crying, she heard the front door slam.

All the girls rushed into the bedroom and were stunned to see the big hand mark on Sooyoung's face.  All of them asked Sooyoung what happened, but she didn't/couldn't respond and just continued crying.

After slapping Sooyoung in the face, Bora ran out of the apartment, also crying.  She sobbed to herself, "Why did I just do that?  I told Sooyoung I was going to listen to what she had to say, instead I slapped her.  But what she was saying was so cruel.  I really don't know what I did to make her hate me so much that she couldn't even stand to be near me."

Bora took the elevator down to the 1st floor and headed outside.  There, she took out her cell phone and called Hyorin.

"Hi Bora, is everything okay?" - Hyorin

"No." - Bora

"What's the matter?" - Hyorin

"Sooyoung just told me that the reason she left for a week was because she couldn't stand to be around me and so I slapped her.  But now I'm regretting it and so I'm outside crying.  I don't know what to do!" - Bora

"I will come and get you.  Go wait down the street at the corner shop.  I'll be there soon." - Hyorin

After hanging up with Hyorin, Bora walked down to the corner store.  After waiting for about 10 minutes, Hyorin, along with Soyu, pulled up.  Bora quickly got into the car and Hyorin sped off.

After driving around for a little bit, Hyorin decided that the three of them would talk over coffee, so she pulled up to a coffee house and three girls got out and went inside.  After a long and awkward silence at the table, Soyu finally spoke up:

"So Hyorin told me what you said to her earlier.  Are you sure that Sooyoung was finished talking before you slapped her?" - Soyu

"Well, she didn't say anything for a few minutes after saying that I was the reason she didn't come home for a week!" - Bora

"Soyu's just saying that Sooyoung doesn't seem like the type of person to just say something like that..." - Hyorin

"Furthermore, I didn't think you were the type of person to slap someone over something like that!" - Soyu

"Yeah, I'm not quite sure why I did that.  I feel really bad about it now though." - Bora

As the three of them sat there, Bora told Hyorin and Soyu the whole story.  About how Sooyoung walked in on her and the boy making out in the club and how Sooyoung lied to the other girls and just left her there.  And how for a month after that Sooyoung ignored her and even slept on the couch.

"Well, it actually seems like she likes you." - Hyorin

"What?!" - Bora

"I agree with Hyorin.  It does seem a little strange that this all started happening after she caught you making out with a boy." - Soyu

"I like boys though.  And Sooyoung knows that!  I told her so!" - Bora

"You should go back to the apartment and talking with Sooyoung.  If she does like you, you should tell her how you feel.  I'm sure she'll understand that you don't like her that way." - Hyorin

"Ugh, fine.  I guess I should at least apologize for slapping her." - Bora

Hyorin and Soyu dropped Bora back off at the apartment.

Bora walked into the apartment and found all the girls asleep in the living room, with the exception of Sooyoung.  Thinking that Sooyoung was in their room, she walked down the hallway towards it, but on the way there she spotted someone on the balcony.  She opened the door to the balcony and saw Sooyoung sitting in the corner, hugging her knees, still crying.

Sooyoung looked up and when she saw Bora, she started crying harder.  Bora sat down next to her and wrapped her arm around her.  Bora looked at Sooyoung and quietly said, "I'm really sorry for hitting you.  I don't know what came over me.  I talked with Hyorin and Soyu and they said that maybe you weren't finished talking...is that true?"  Sooyoung sniffled a few more times and then replied, "I was going to say that I couldn't stand to be near you, because I liked you."  Bora sighed, "Yeah Hyorin and Soyu also thought that you might like me, but you know i like boys, right?"  Sooyoung clenched her fists, but responded with a smile on her face, "I know.  Don't worry, I don't like you anymore.  That is why I left for a week, to get over the feelings I had for you."  Bora was relieved, not knowing that Sooyoung was lying.  "Okay good.  So we can still be friends then right?"  Sooyoung looked away and answered, "Of course."  But as she said this, a few tears streamed down her cheeks.
