Bom, CL, Minzy, and Dara all stood on stage and began their sound check:

"1, 2, 3.  Testing.  1, 2, 3." - CL 

"Hey guys, how is everyone doing tonight?" - Bom

[loud cheers from the crowd]

"Instead of just a normal sound check, we thought we might treat you guys with an acoustic performance of Lonely" - CL

[the crowd starts to chant "2NE1"]

As this is going on, Jihyo is still standing in the back, with her new friend Eun Mi.  She is just silently watching the girl she loves stand on stage.  As she is admiring her from a far, a gentlemen walks out onto stage with an acoustic guitar in hand.  He starts playing and the 4 girls on stage begin to sing.

2NE1 continued their sound check for 30 minutes, making small talk with the crowd and singing bits and pieces of different songs, eventually though the sound check finished and the concert proceeded.  After performing for nearly 2.5 hours, 2NE1 finished their set and left the stage.  Jihyo sighed as she watched Dara retreat backstage.  Eun Mi looked at Jihyo, raised her eyebrow, and to Jihyo's surprise started speaking Korean to her:

"Don't tell me you seriously just came to watch the show." - Eun Mi

"Well..." - Jihyo

"Seriously?!  What the hell is wrong with you?  Gosh, I didn't think you were so hopeless Ace Jihyo." - Eun Mi

"I can't just walk backstage, and I have no idea what hotel she is staying at.  And I feel like I can't just call her, because it's been so long since I've tried to contact her, it might be weird.  I don't even know if she wants to talk to me, let alone see me." - Jihyo

"Okay...so I guess we are going to be pseudo-stalkers for tonight." - Eun Mi

"HUH?!" - Jihyo

"You heard me.  We have to figure out what hotel they are staying at.  I will be your chauffeur for the night and get you where you need to go!.  I know you're scared, but it really is silly to travel all this way and not see her." - Eun Mi

"You're right...thanks Eun Mi.  I really appreciate all you're doing." - Jihyo

After two and a half hours of waiting and driving...mostly waiting...the two "stalkers" found themselves outside of the Ritz-Carlton.

"Well, here we are.  Now's your chance.  Don't blow it." - Eun Mi

"Thanks again.  I don't know how I will ever repay you." - Jihyo

"Don't worry about it.  Good luck." - Eun Mi

"Oh before I go, here's my number and e-mail.  Keep in touch." - Jihyo

With that, Jihyo got out of the car and headed towards the hotel...
