Where the hell did they learn all this stuff? We had to switch cars to lose their tale on us and then when we found a suitable car, L.Joe and L started hotwiring it. And you know the shocking part was? It actually worked!

“You look confused,” Jonghyun said to me from behind. He was waiting patiently for the others to finish.

“Um, I didn’t know they could do that,” I said honestly.

“Yeah, they can do a lot of things, but you know what?” Jonghyun said as he walked closer to me.

“What?” I asked while backing up.

He was a footstep away now and leaned down to my ear and whispered, “I can do other things too,” his breath on my ear made me tingle inside.

“Hey, we’re ready to go!” L.Joe shouted as he ran up to us, he stood still at the awkward atmosphere, “Did I interrupt something?”

“No,” Jonghyun said happily, “We were just done.” he then leaned back and walked to the new car we were going to go in.

“Is everything okay?” L.Joe asked curiously.

“Um, yeah, never better,” I said while looking down.

“Good. And um, Hye Mi, L wants you in the front.” L.Joe pointed at the car. L was standing on the driver side looking at us.

“Okay,” I said and we walked to the car.

In the car, we began driving, the silence was broken when L spoke, “Where’s your house Hye Mi?”

“What?” I asked surprised that he brought that up.

“Where’s your house?” he asked again getting impatient.

“Um, near the main park, you know, on Han Avenue.” I answered back to the awkward question.

“Okay, we’re going there,” L replied in his serious tone.

When we arrived near my house, I pointed and then L dropped us off there. He then took off and said that he’d be right back. We nodded and went into my house.

Inside, my suitcases were still lying on the floor still unpacked. I went over to them and picked them up. “You guys can fix yourself something to eat, no wait, I didn’t buy groceries yet so I’ll order take out.” I said as I walked to my bedroom to put my suitcase there. L.Joe followed me and closed the door.

“There’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you,” He said, “well more like ask you for another favor.”

I looked at his innocent puppy eyes once again, “Shoot for it,” I said as I sat on my bed, I patted next to me on my bed signaling for him to sit down next to me. Why can’t I resist him?

L.Joe took a seat down, “Um, well, can we stay here temporally? Well until when we find where they took our family?”

I looked at his sad eyes. Something bothered him but he wouldn’t show it, maybe a few days wouldn’t matter, “Uh, sure. I have some extra rooms in my house since I’m living alone but you guys are going to help me equally manage the house,” I smiled.

L.Joe lightened up and gave me a big hug. “Thanks! You’re the best!” he then let go and skipped out of my room. I followed him and found L back.

“Hyung! We get to stay for a while!” L.Joe exclaimed.

“I guess we do,” L said with a hint of relief in his voice. He looked at me with cold eyes.

“So where did you go?” I asked L.

“To dump the car somewhere far,” he answered, “So we don’t get tracked and killed. If you’re smart, stay low for the next few weeks. They’ll come find you since you helped us.” as I heard L say that, shivers ran down my back. What did I really get myself into?

“Hye Mi, Don’t worry. I’m here so I’ll protect you!” L.Joe tried to persuade me but he couldn’t possibly do that because when I look into his eyes, I could see the part of him that will leave me there by myself so he could run safely away. That greed that occupied him on the inside, but on the outside, it was as if he was an angel. A devilish angel... with a cute face. Well i guess everyone has that trait on them.

“Okay,” I said with a small smile, “So I should order take out now right?” I asked while picking up the phone..
