Eunhyuk laid down on his bed with his hand propped behind his head. He stared absentmindedly at the ceiling while his mind was wandering somewhere far. He had a long day, his schedules tired him out. He just wanted to sleep, but his brain wasn't letting him. His mind kept on coming back to the scene that happened the night before between him and his 'girlfriend', Ahreum.

He wasn't an amateur when it came to dating, but everytime he spent the night with her, he felt like a pre-school kid. All this time, he only went to a movie date or grab a bite at a fancy restaurant with his past girlfriends. But Ahreum... She took him to places he had never been before. She showed him that there was so much more than meet the eyes in their relationship.

"Do you feel the same?"

Her last question kept echoing inside his head. He couldn't help but frown everytime his mind tried to find the answer.

"I don't know," he answered honestly. The confusion in his eyes were genuine. He wasn't making it up or tried to avoid the question. He literally had no idea how to answer to that simple question.

Ahreum softened after seeing the confuse expression planted on his face. "Well, at least it's not a 'no'," she pushed herself a little bit from the ground and gave him a sweet peck on the cheek.

It had only been 12 days, but she already had so much impact on him. He didn't know how he trully felt at that moment, but the answer certainly wasn't a 'no'.

Eunhyuk shook his head slightly. How can a little girl like her have so much power over me?

He turned around slightly on his bed, shifting his gaze from the ceiling to his bedside table. The clock showed it was almost 9 pm. It wasn't even late, but he felt all his energy had been drained. He started his schedule at 3 in the morning, no wonder he felt so so so tired.

No text, no phonecall... Maybe she isn't up for a date tonight. Good then, he thought to himself as his eyes started to feel heavy and drowsiness started to take over.

Just when he was about to enter the dreamland, he heard a faint knock on the door. His eyes immediately snapped open as he grumpily sat on the bed. He rubbed his eyes tiredly to chase away the sleepiness. The knock on the door was heard once again. What the hell... he walked angrily to the door, thinking it was either Kyuhyun or Donghae, and opened it harshly.

"What?!" He snapped with an annoyed expression.

"Were you sleeping?"

Eunhyuk blinked several times to adjust his vision. The soft and girly voice certainly didn't belong to . "Ahreum?" he asked stupidly as he finally focused on the petite girl in front of him. She had a guilty and worried look on her beautiful face.

"Don't be mad. Sorry for barging in without calling you first," she said timidly as she straightened her short baby pink skirt out of nervousness.

Eunhyuk softened seeing her guilty expression. "I'm not mad. I just assumed since there isn't any call from you, you didn't want to go out tonight." He caressed her cheek with his thumb, assuring her that he wasn't even the slightest bit mad at her.

"I was caught up with something," she answered with a little smile. "But I do want to go for our date tonight. Are you up for it?"

Eunhyuk took her hand in his. "Actually Ahreum-ah, I'm really tired today. Is it okay if we skip the date tonight? I'll make it up tomorrow," he softly said as he kissed each of her knuckles lovingly.

It wasn't a lie though, but it also wasn't completely the truth. He indeed was tired, but he also needed some time away from her to clear his mind. He still hadn't figured out the answer to her question last night.

"Come on, oppa. How about if I give you a day off tomorrow?" Ahreum begged and even promise him a date-less-night. "Just spend tonight with me." She pleaded with a cute smile attached on her face.

Eunhyuk let out an amused chuckle. Ahreum was never the type of girl to push on something or even using cuteness to get what she wanted. It was rare side of her to see, and Eunhyuk wasn't hating it.

"A day off tomorrow? Really?" Eunhyuk was tempted with the offer. The next day also happened to be Super Junior's day off. They would have zero schedule and the whole entire day just to themselves and sleep all day long. Without having to go out on a date with her tomorrow night, he would have the prefect day to rest.

"Yeap," Ahreum nodded slightly with a hopeful smile on her face. She wasn't fond of the idea of losing one night of their dates. But if it meant she could spent tonight with him, she would gladly sacrifice their date tomorrow.

"Fine," Eunhyuk finally breathed out. "Just let me change first. Five minutes, kay?" He kissed the skin right underneath her lips and smiled in satisfaction at her red crimson face.

Eunhyuk stared at the girl seating in front of him confusedly, as if she had suddenly grown another head. "What are we doing here?"

Ahreum momentarily stopped writing down on her agenda and mimicked his expression. "We're here to eat, of course. You don't come to a restaurant to play football, do you?" she couldn't help but to be sarcastic. It was such a stupid question.

Eunhyuk scoffed at her ridiculous sarcasm. "You drag me all the way from my warm bed just to eat seaweed soup at this time?"

Ahreum went back on writing things on her agenda. "Yeah." She didn't even bother to look at him.

"You eat seaweed soup for breakfast. Not supper." Eunhyuk stated firmly. He was starting to get annoyed.

Ahreum caught on his tone. She closed the agenda and put it back on her backpack before throwing him a sweet smile in hope to calm him down. "It's a habit of yours, I get it. But I want some seaweed soup for supper. Is that alright, oppa?"

The frown on his forehead lessen a bit at the word 'oppa'. "Do whatever you want," he finally stated and torn his gaze away from her.

Ahreum tried not to take his words to heart. She knew that he was deadly tired from all his schedules that day. She was grateful for the fact that he was still willing to go out with her for their date that night despite the fatigue that was written all over his face.

The waiter came and served them their orders. Ahreum's eyes lit brightly at the sight of the seaweed soup. "Looks good," Ahreum smiled cheerfully at him.

Eunhyuk let out another scoffed at her expression. He took the spoon and ate a spoonful of the soup without saying another word. "I don't get why you want this so bad. It's not like it's your birthday or anything."

Ahreum's hand stopped mid-air at his words. She smiled a little to herself before she looked up at him. "I'm just glad I get to this with you." She stated softly.

Eunhyuk scanned her face for a second. Something's off with her tonight, he wondered to himself. But he brushed it off a second later, thinking he was just looking too deep into things.

They took the pictures while holding the bowl of seaweed soup in front of them and smiling to the camera. Eunhyuk was a bit grumpy that night, and it showed on the photo.

"Ha, seems like we're back to day 1." Ahreum looked at him from under her eyelashes with a teasing smile.

Eunhyuk just scoffed and rolled his eyes. He was also secretly displeased with the result, but he tried to shrugged it off.

After they finished their supper, they headed to their next destination. "Where are we heading?" Eunhyuk asked as he drove his car to the traffic.

Ahreum sat beside him and admired his side profile which was undoubtedly handsome. She tried to map every single details of his face. The pointy nose, the slightly pouty lips, and his incredible firm jaw. She was lost in her own world until Eunhyuk snapped her back to reality.

He pinched her nose playfully and gave her a heart-stopping smile of his. "Why are you acting like such a fangirl?"

"Huh?" Ahreum answered back distractedly. Her face immediately turned red at the realization of getting caught while staring at him.

Eunhyuk took her hand in his and laced them together. He kissed the back of her hand and put their intertwined hands on his lap. He drove with one hand and stared straight to the road. "You're my girlfriend. Act like one." He scolded her playfully.

"How arrogant." Ahreum fixed her gaze at the scenery outside the window while secretly smiling to herself.

They decided to go to a night market located at the heart of Seoul. The night market was filled with lots of young lovers having their date, just like them. Once they stepped out of the car, Ahreum immediately fixed Eunhyuk's disguise. "People will either think you're a hottie or a weirdo for wearing sunglasses in the middle of the night." Ahreum laughed while fixing his scarf.

"Or they'll just simply think I'm blind." Eunhyuk shrugged his shoulder nonchalantly and smiled after hearing Ahreum's laughed at his joke.

"Beautiful," Eunhyuk whispered and kissed her rosy pink cheek.

"Stop kissing me," Ahreum grumpily rubbed her cheek at the exact spot where Eunhyuk just kissed her and her heels, leaving him behind.

Eunhyuk caught up with her in no time and slid his arm around her waist while walking beside her. "I'm your boyfriend. And I get to kiss you baby just because I can~" he sang a part of Michael Buble's 'Everything' and ended it with another sweet kiss on her cheek.

Ahreum turned her gaze towards him with a glare, trying to threatened him. But Eunhyuk gazed back at her with a raised eyebrow and playful smile, making Ahreum lost her composure. She broke into a fit of laughter, "You're such a dork." She shook her head slightly with a small smile planted on her face.

They went around the night market looking at all the attractions and foods. There were several times when people started to give them a suspicious look, and they fled away from the scene immediately. Eunhyuk kept Ahreum closed to him, afraid that she would get lost in the sea of people.

After walking down for about half an hour, Eunhyuk needed to use the restroom, so he left her for a while with a firm mesaage of: 'Wait for me here. Do not move.'

He repeated it several times to make sure she would obey and it earned him an eye-roll from Ahreum. He came back few minutes later and caught her staring intently at something on display at one of the stands. "What are you looking at?"

"Nothing," Ahreum turned her gaze back at him in surprise. She smiled and immediately went back to his side. "Should we eat ddeokbokki?" She immediately tried to distract his attention.

Eunhyuk followed her with his gaze still fixed on the stand. What was it? She looks really attracted to it...

Suddenly, he bumped into a group of people walking from the opposite direction. Eunhyuk immediately tore his gaze from the stand and turned forward, "Sorry! I wasn't looking," He immediately appologized with a slight bow of his head.

"My fault, I wasn't- " The person suddenly stopped talking, making Eunhyuk shifted his gaze towards him, "Lee Hyukjae?"

A frown appeared on Eunhyuk's face as he tried to recall the memory of the said person. Suddenly, his eyes turned twice bigger the actual size with a wide grin spread on his face. "Choi Joon? Joon-ah!!" Eunhyuk laughed and let go of Ahreum's hand to give the other man a hug.

"It's been a while. How've you been, Mr. Popular?" Joon patted Eunhyuk's shoulder with a teasing smile.

"Shut up! I've been great." Eunhyuk laughed, happy to see one of his highschool's bestfriend. He lost contact with most of them when he debuted, which was another sacrifice he had to make.

He suddenly remembered Ahreum stood awkwardly by his side and pushed her slightly forward. "Ahreum, this is Joon, He's one of my closest friend when I was in highschool. Joon, this is Ahreum. She's my-"

Joon cut off his sentence and observed Ahreum for a while before he took her hand and shook it slightly. "Hyukjae's girlfriend? I didn't know you're allowed to publicly dating like this, Hyuk-ah," Joon said with an amused tone.

Ahreum's face slightly paled at Joon's words.

"This relationship between us, isn't the one to be bragged about. Espescially, not in front of my friends!"

She remembered Eunhyuk's word at the night she tried to surprise him and ended up embarassing him in front of his friends. She gazed at Eunhyuk in panic and hurriedly correct  him, "No, I'm not his girlfriend. I'm his friend's cousins! He's just accompaniying me to buy something," Ahreum said with a forced smile.

Ahreum could see from the corner of her eyes that Eunhyuk was giving her a hard glare with a frown attached on his face.

"Sorry, my bad," Joon immediately appologized once he sense the tense atmosphere between Eunhyuk and Ahreum that suddenly occured. "I gotta go. See you soon?" Joon patted his shoulder once again and get ready to leave.

"Yeah, take care," Eunhyuk answered distractedly while keeping his gaze at Ahreum.

Once Joon left the scene, Ahreum gave Eunhyuk a tight smile before he could say another word. "Let's go home. I'm not hungry anymore."

The ride home was filled with awkward silence. None of them said a word, both were lost in their own world. Eunhyuk was angry with the fact that Ahreum didn't want to admit his status to his close friend. But then again, he knew that she did it because he told her off once in the past. He was so frustrated, he felt like banging his head to the steering-wheel.

Eunhyuk let out a frustrated sigh, he hated it when things turned gloomy on their date. Ahreum was his sanctuary, things shouldn't go this way. He tightened his grip on the steering-wheel and made a sudden turn to the park.

It was the exact same park where they stood under the pouring rain on their 6th date.

"What are we doing here?" Ahreum was sent back to reality once Eunhyuk opened the passenger door for her.

"We're going to play a game," Eunhyuk rubbed his hands together and walked a few steps backward from her.

Ahreum got out of the car and shut the door slowly. "What game?" She asked confusedly while watching Eunhyuk who was standing facing her a few steps ahead.

Eunhyuk gave her his handsome boyish grin. "Here's the rule. Each of us are going to say one thing we love about the other person and take one step closer after. We'll take turn. The person who gets to say the last 'I love ...', wins."

Ahreum raised an eyebrow at him. "That's it?" A smile started to spread across her lovely face.

"Simple, right?" Eunhyuk's grin got wider at the sight of her smile.

"Who made this game?" Ahreum tilted her head slightly.

"I did." Eunhyuk answered while shrugging his shoulder cutely.

Ahreum laughed at his answer. "I'm so gonna win this." She bit her lower lips slightly. "So who's gonna start?"

"Cocky, aren't you? I'll start." Eunhyuk stayed silent for a while before he softly said, "I love your long black hair." He smiled and took a step closer towards her.

Ahreum unconciously touched her hair. She smiled and replied, "I love those wrinkles underneath your eyes everytime you smile." And took a step closer.

"I love hearing you laugh." Eunhyuk took another step.

"Do you now?" Ahreum asked teasingly.

"It's lovely," Eunhyuk laughed and answered truthfully with a smile.

"I love how nice you are towards other people," Ahreum took a step forward.

"I love how your face turns red everytime I kiss you," Eunhyuk said with a playful smile.  Another step forward.

"I love seeing you dance," Ahreum smiled and moved forward.

"I bet you do." Ahreum laughed hearing his response. "I love the feeling you give me everytime you're around." Eunhyuk smiled and took a big strode forward. He stood right in front of her with his eyes gazed warmly at hers.

Eunhyuk leaned down so their noses were barely touching. "Guess I win," He kissed the tip of her nose sweetly.

"What kind of feeling is that?" Ahreum breathed out while his cheek with her thumb slowly.

Eunhyuk's eyes slightly rounded. "I don't know," he answered unsurely. Regret flashed on his warm chocolate eyes. Once again, he didn't know the answer to her question.

"I win." Ahreum stated calmly.

"Huh?" Eunhyuk furrowed his eyebrows in confussion.

Ahreum traced the skin underneath his eye with her delicate finger.  The next words she was about to say confirmed her winning and her feelings for him at the same time.

"I love you," She whispered softly.

Eunhyuk was taken aback by her sudden confession. His eyebrows furrowed slightly, his eyes shown sadness and regret. "You'll find someone better, Ahreum-ah."

Her eyes showed no surprise nor disappointement. Eunhyuk was slightly hurt by the fact that Ahreum looked like as if she was already expecting his answer. Her doe round eyes gazed once again at his bewildered eyes. "Why can't it be you?"

Eunhyuk pulled her body against his and enveloped her in a warm hug. He burried his face on the crook of her neck and inhaled her sweet scent. He closed his eyes, his heart was hurting bad for some unkown reason. "I just don't feel the same," Eunhyuk said with a shaky tone. He could almost hear his own heart cracked at the words.

He swallowed the imaginary lump on his throat and tighten the hug even more. You don't need to feel bad about this, Hyukjae-ah... Eunhyuk tried to convince himself.

Ahreum hugged him back and his back gently. Eunhyuk wasn't able to see, but a sad smile was planted on her pretty face. She didn't expect any other answer. But now that it was already said by Eunhyuk himself, everything just felt more real. It was as if she was pulled back from heaven and smashed back harshly to the ground.

She could stop hoping for something more. He already gave her his answer, and it was final. She understood. Their dates were just part of the deal. He was treating her real nice just because it was also part of the deal.

Nothing more.

Ahreum didn't want to cry. But the tears wouldn't stop forming. She closed her eyes, trying to stop it from falling. She opened her eyes once again and found the moon beautifully brightened the night.

She kissed him right underneath his ear and whispered, "I never get to see the sun with you, oppa."

Eunhyuk came back to the dorm around 1 in the morning and threw his car key racklessly to the dining table. He was about to enter his room when he saw that most of s were gathered in the living room, watching some TV shows. He decided to join them for a while.

"How was your date, hyung?" Kyuhyun shifted his attention from TV once he saw Eunhyuk walked in to the living room.

"So-so," Eunhyuk shrugged nonchalantly as he grabbed a handful of popcorn from Donghae and plopped himself down on the sofa next to him. Donghae gave him a look and held his popcorn protectively.

"What did you get her?" Sungmin asked while his eyes were still fixed on the TV.

Eunhyuk raised an eyebrow at his question. "Am I suppose to give her something?" he asked dumbfounded.

Sungmin turned his attention from the TV and gave him an are-you-serious look. "Yeah, present."

"Present?" Eunhyuk sat straight on the sofa, panic was written all over his face. The worst possibility started to cross his mind. What is it? Wait, is it? Oh God, no. Please, don't let it be...

"It's Ahreum's birthday." Donghae said cautiously, making Eunhyuk's worst nightmare came true. "Well, at least it was. It's 1 am now."

Eunhyuk face palmed himself and squeezed his hair tightly. "No... No! !" Eunhyuk cursed loudly, he felt super angry at himself.

"You didn't know?" Sungmin asked him with a slightly raised voice. He knew that Eunhyuk only dated her out of the deal, but he was a good person nonetheles. He couldn't believe Eunhyuk would be this clueless.

"No," Eunhyuk answered angrily. He had no one to blame but himself, which made him even angrier. "."

"Well, there's always another birthday next year, hyung." Kyuhyun tried to calm him down.

"He won't be with her next year, dumb-," Donghae threw a handful of popcorn at Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun stucked his tongue out back at him with a look on his face.

Eunhyuk burried his face with his hands for a while before he finally looked at s who were staring at him expectantly.

"Guys, I'm gonna need your help."

Oooo, what kind of help, Hyukjae-ah?

So, some of you guess it right. Day 13 is Ahreum's birthday. Bravo to all of you! Smart readers I have here, haha.

In this chapter, Ahreum had to go through another heartbreak. What should I do? Poor Ahreum :(
