{At the hotel}

“Where have you been?” my mother asked right away when I entered the living room

“I told you. I went to see my University” I lied

“Where’s appa, umma?”

“He’s still in the meeting”

I spent whole morning with Seungho hyung. He told me some treatments that can help Hyuna get her feelings back. I need my groups with me this time. Hyuna has been left alone for long time so she need love than ever.

“Junhyung, did you hear what I had said?” my mother pulled me out of my thoughts

“Uhm, I didn’t. What did you say?” I shooked my head

“Hara called me this morning asking why you’re absent today. She cares about you. She’s a nice girl, too. Why…”

“Umma, we talked about this. I don’t like her. She’s crazy” I cut her off. I know what she wants to say

“But Junhyung, all your friends have girlfriends. I heard Doojoon engaged already. Why you don’t have one? I’m worried…Are you…gay?”

“Umma!! I’m not gay!! I DID like someone before” I defended myself

“Really? Who?” my mother asked excitedly

“Aish, you don’t know her”

“Don’t tell me she’s the girl you met when you were kid?” she raised her eyebrows. Why she’s smart all of sudden?

“Ani” I looked away

“So, it’s true. My son’s so faithful” I heard her chuckle. Man, so embarrassing.

“Wait a minute, I heard my friends gossiped about that family. That girl is insane” she continued

“Ani, she isn’t insane. She studies in same school with me. She just doesn’t express her feeling and doesn’t talk” I denied

“Ah, those rumors are wrong…Hold on, so you know who the little girl is?” my mother asked after realizing

“Uhm…Yes, umma” I rubbed my head

“If you have an idea of marrying her, screw it. I protest”

“Huh?? I didn’t say I would marry her”

“That’s good. That family is a big trouble. They have a lot of enimies”

“Really? I heard…somewhere that appa was her father’s partner”

“That’s true but it’s the time when his wife was here. Now she’s with her lover so he turns into a cold person…I don’t like the new person of him but I understand what he has been through. I thought his wife was nice and gentle…” my mother sighed. Your thought was right, umma. She did go somewhere and that’s heaven.

“If she didn’t leave, we might arrange marriage for you two” she spoke

“Umma~” I whined. What? I can whine with my mother

“Alright, I won’t say anything about her”

Even my mother said bad things about Hyuna’s family, especially her mother. How can she take it? I would kill myself or move to another town if I were her. The more I know about her, the more pitiful I feel for her. She’s just a girl and she was still young back then. You MUST success, Yong Junhyung.

{Next day}

“Hyung~ Why you skipped class yesterday?” Kikwang asked when we were in school garden

“I went to Seoul with my parents”

“Did you give up on Seoul University? I thought studying is the most important thing to you” – Jina

“Ani. I didn’t give up. I went on purpose. And guys,…” I stopped

“Is something wrong?” – Doojoon

“My theory…It’s right. I asked someone in Seoul”

“WHAT?” they exclaimed in unision

“She has been through a lot…” Gayoon commented after I told them the story

“I know.  So you guys help me or not? She has to cure her heart as soon as possible”

“Of course, we help you” – Hyunseung

“Thanks, bro” I gave him a high-five

“Hey, look!!!” – Yoseob

We all turn and see Hyuna. Her arm’s in a sling and her leg’s in plaster. She has to use a crutch. There’re some scratches and bruises on her face. What happened? It’s weirder when Joe goes with her today. He just went here when he brought her breakfast. Moreover, some girls in black suit follows Hyuna.

“Did Hyuna come to school yesterday?” I asked the others as they shaked their heads

“Kahi noona?...Noona!!!” Doojoon suddenly ran to one of black suit girls

“Who’s she?” Jihyun seemed jealous when Doojoon went back to us

“She’s my cousin. Don’t need to be angry babe” he chuckled

“Did you ask her? What happened to Hyuna?” I spoke

“She said she was hired for preventing Hyuna from killing herself” That's why Joe goes with her? To stop her?

“Poor Hyuna. She may want to go with her mother and brother” – Jiyoon

“Her father still cares about her so he hires guards for his daughter” – Gayoon

“But why he left her after the funeral?” – Dongwoon

“It’s hard to understand” – Sohyun

“Whatever it is. We still need to pull her back to normal state first” I suggested

“That’s right” my friends nodded in agreement

{Break time}

We go to cafeteria to have breakfast. Hyuna’s already there and she’s eating her sandwich with one hand. When we’re waiting to our food, there’s a shock thing. Joe runs to the coffee machine and I can see some coins in his mouth. He uses his tongue to put the coins in the machine as one of his feet pushes a bottom. Basically, he’s buying a bottle of water for Hyuna. That’s strange, right? How could a dog do that? Everyone in the cafeteria looks surprised at this. Who doesn’t? After that, Joe runs back to Hyuna with the bottle in his mouth.

“Hey, where did you go last week?” I decided with my friends sitting with Hyuna but she just ignored us. Man, this’s hard

“Why didn’t I receive any texts from your family lately? Have I been fired?” I started the conversation again. Silence. Gosh.

“Who can understand what you teach? You’re the worst tutor” Hyunseung teased me

My friends all try to talk to her but Hyuna doesn’t look at us. She focuses on eating sandwich. I wish I was that sandwich. Hold on, I was jealous with a sandwich? I’m going crazy.

 “Joe. I read that. I knew the truth. We’ll help her but we need your help” I kneeled beside Joe and whispered to his ear as he turned to me and nodded. This still sounds wrong.

“Hyuna, let me tie your hair. You ate your hair” Gayoon stood up and Hyuna didn’t move at all when Gayoon touched her. Well, that’s a way to be closer.

After Gayoon finishes, all the BEAST members including me get shocked. Hyuna looks different when her hair’s tied. We can see her milky skin. If she didn’t wear those man clothes, she would be more beautiful. Hyuna turns to Joe all of sudden as he shooks his head. Maybe she asks him to untie her hair but he refuses. He’s helping us. He DID understand. Hyuna may give up as she stands up and walks away with the bottle of water when Joe runs after her.

“Did we success?” – Sohyun

“I think we did. A little” – Jihyun

“Her skin is freaking gorgeous. She’ll be pretty if she wears nicely” – Jina

“Why don’t you girls hang out with her after class? Shopping, nails or something” – Yoseob

“That’s a good idea. If so, go to my shop then” Gayoon smiled. I forgot to tell you that Gayoon’s family owns the biggest mall in this town.

“Is that okay? She’s injured…” – Doojoon

“Yes. No problem with that. Girls can go shopping anywhere, anytime and in any condition” - Jina

“That’s right. We’ll change her. You guys’ll be surprised” – Jiyoon

“Don’t say anything too soon. You’ll regret” – Kikwang

“Really? Why don’t we make a deal? If we can, you have to dance American moves in front of school”

“Deal. If you can’t, you have to kiss me in front of school” Kikwang smirked. Gosh, they’re cheesy again. At least they’re trying to help me. I wonder what the result is.

{1 month passed}

I’m exhausted. If you ask me, what happened? I tell you. NOTHING. The deal between Kikwang and Jiyoon is drawn. The girls did change Hyuna’s appearance but she didn’t wear those to school. We all forgot that Hyuna’s family is the richest. She can change back. You may wonder how we could know 4minute success or not. Well, they took a picture of her. Brown hair, simple clothes. Damn, she’s beautiful. The next thing you may ask is how can Hyuna turn back when she doesn’t talk. Well, I don’t know. But the following day, she was untidy again. You may be curious about my job. Joe DOES help me. I teach her in 2 hours. Shock, right? At first, the nanny had to come to check. She was shocked and she’s still now. Look like Hyuna knows that Joe helps me, she starts ignoring him. If she’s tired, she’ll just stand up and lie on her bed. Not caring I’m still in the room or not.

Anyway, lately, we sit near where she is. Just watching her. Even we come closer, she’ll walk away. I realize that she has a habit. She always sit in the school garden closing her eyes if she has her breakfast already. She doesn’t sleep, she just closes them. I don’t know why but Joe joins her. He lies on her lap and closes his eyes as well. I wonder why.

“Hyung, you has become the first one can teach Hyuna in the longest time…except her marks hasn’t changed” Kikwang pulled me out of my thoughts

“She’s impossible. It makes me think that she can’t write or read” I said

“I’m sure that she can. Her handwriting was quite beautiful back then” – Gayoon

“What should we do? We can’t be like this. It has been a month or something” – Jina

“Should we buy ice-cream for her? Everyone loves ice-cream right?” Yoseob suggested

“Uhm...That’s a good idea. Should we go after school?” I nodded

“Will it be okay if you don’t teach her?” - Doojoon

“Nae. Her father told me that I could teach her whenever I like. I’m the only one can make her listen to me in longest time” I told the truth. Mr.Jaehyun texted me or asked somebody texted me that

“Alright. But how can we make her go with us?” – Hyunseung

“Just pull her in our car when she’s at the gate” – Jiyoon

{After school}

“Hey, go with us somewhere, okay? I’ll bring you home” I wore helmet for Hyuna after seeing her walk out

“Jump on” I started the engine

She just stares at me. Suddenly, Joe pushes her from behind making her lose her balance but I catch her in time.

“Hey, Joe. You go with us. Leave them alone” I heard Gayoon shouting from Yoseob’s car as Joe ran to them

“If you want to take him back, you have to come” I smirked and she did jump on slowly. Her leg and her arm are still injured. She can't do it fast. Joe’s always the reason making her listen. I’m jealous.

“Hold me tightly okay? You can fall down” I grabbed her arms and crossed them around my waist. Why my heart beat so fast?
