“How do you feel now? Good?” I returned to my seat as Hyuna nodded

“You have pills to take so I’ll go find something to eat, okay? Sleep more” I helped her lie down and she just smiled

On the way finding a restaurant, I send a message to Doojoon telling him not to go to the hospital with the others because it’s late now and we can celebrate another time. When I’m walking, someone blocks my way as I look up.

“We need to talk” Mr.Jaehyun didn’t show any emotion on his face

“Hyuna…”

“I know. I just want to tell you something” he cut off

“Oh, what is it, sir?”

“You don’t need to tutor her since February”

“What?” I was shocked

“I’ll send her to Seoul in January. It has the best condition. That’s all” he turned

“W…Wait! Did she know? Don’t you tell her?”

“No. She’ll like it since she asked me let her live with her sister in Seoul years ago…I have to go. I have a meeting later. Thanks for helping improve grades of my daughter” he walked away while I was speechless

Did he just say that? Did he just leave without checking his daughter? More important, Hyuna’ll leave this town to Seoul, leave me alone? I stand still for a while until remembering that I have to buy food for her and I. You know Hyuna won’t go so just forget it, Jun. Or at least forget it today.

“Look at you two…Are you sure nothing happened?” Doojoon asked when he helped me holding Hyuna’s bags

“What’re you talking about?” I pretended being dumb and continued helping Hyuna walk properly. Today she can go home.

“Don’t play dumb with me, Jun. Something’s weird with you. You smile like every second today” he commented

“If I’m weird, you’re crazy…Thanks for coming here and helping us”

“Are you really my friend? I’m crazy since I was born…You’re welcome, bro” he joked as Hyuna and I both laughed

Doojoon’s right. I can’t stop smiling since my birthday. The previous days may be one of the happiest days of my life even I was a little bit tired when I had to go to school, go home and then stayed at the hospital with Hyuna. Well, as long as I stay with her, I’m happy.

“We arrived~… Joe-ah, your master is home~” I closed the door as Joe jumped down from bed and ran to her

Hyuna bends down and rubs his head smiling while his tail is waving in the air continuously. He must be very happy seeing her. I leave them there and put the bags back to the closet. I still can’t touch her clothes. It’s embarrassing. I prepare the dinner as well since she’s still weak. Don’t underestimate me. I know you’re thinking I can’t cook. How do you think I can survive before Hyuna lives with me, huh?

We’re both exhausted so we finish our dishes in no time and go to bed early. Joe may be teasing us when he’s sleep near the wall. It’s supposed to be HER place. Whatever he does, she drags herself lazily and lies down on the bed ready to sleep. When I just do the same, she suddenly turns and hugs me. I grin after few seconds of shock. Joe from the other side uses his fangs turning Hyuna to his side. If you were me, you wouldn’t be surprised at this anymore.

“Yah~” I whined when she was hugging Joe instead of me

I can see she’s smiling from behind but she doesn’t turn back. Fine, it’s war now, Joe. I move closer to them and cross my arm around her waist from behind while my chin is resting on her head. I have closed my eyes but I still can feel her body moves closer to me until her head touches my neck. See? I won.

{23th December}

Today is Monday and we have school again. I yawn while Hyuna and I are on the way to class. We act normal since we don’t want to be said being cheesy in public.

“Hey, hyung!! Hurry. You two have to see this” my friends called from far. Why are they standing at the door instead of entering the class?

“Woa~” I was amazed seeing tons of chocolate were on our table

“Hyuna has a lot of fans” – Kikwang.

That’s true. I have to admit she starts gaining attentions of the male students since the school competition

“But can anyone tell me what event is it?” I asked as my friends gave me what-the-hell looks

“What event happens after your birthday every year, oppa?” – Jihyun

“His birthday” I pointed at Yoseob

“No, no, no. Between that” – Jiyoon

“Uhm…Christmas!!!” I exclaimed

“Now you found out? How can you forget that?” Doojoon smacked my head

“I forgot the dates, okay? Today is 23th not 24th. Besides, why should I care about that?” I rubbed my head. Yes, I know. I’m lying. I do care about it. , how can you forget it, Jun.

“Really? Are you sure, hyung?” Yoseob raised eyebrows

“Yeah”

“Look like she’ll be busy tomorrow” Gayoon pointed at where Hyuna was sitting and boys were surrounding her

My eyes get widened. Since when all the boys in my class like her? They keep talking something when Hyuna look dumbfounded. Look like she doesn’t understand anything they said. She’s cute.

“Someone will be jealous~” Hyunseung spoke entering the class smirking at me

“Yeah, I agree” my friends followed him

“Hey, make a way” I felt annoyed

The boys are blocking my way to my seat. They notice and do what I said. I’m the monitor, aren’t I? I can hear my friends’ laugh from behind. The boys continue their talks with Hyuna again. Mostly they talk, duh? Do you expect she talk? She responds by nodding or smiling. Jealousy is growing more and more in me. I decide to take out a random book pretending reading and listen to their conversations instead. They just tell her some funny stories, at least they think it’s funny but I can’t find any fun in their stories.

“Hey, go back. Teacher come” I said seeing Mrs.Park at the door and they left

“Good morning, class… Omo, Hyuna! That’s all yours?” I could see Mrs.Park’s shocked face when she was staring at Hyuna’s direction as Hyuna nodded innocently

“Woa~… Don’t get fat because of eating those, okay?” Mrs.Park joked and Hyuna grinned widely. Good. Hyuna gets close not only with students but also with teachers

“Ah, by the way, congrats on your winning, 4BEAST”

“Kamsamida” my friends and I responded in unison

“Ah, I almost forgot. There’ll have a prom tomorrow so anyone who wants to go connects the monitor to buy tickets. Don’t complain about the price, it’s not high and it’s for charity…Well, let’s start the lesson now”

{Break time}

Most of my classmates go to cafeteria to have breakfast. Weird, why do a lot of people skip breakfast today? Maybe they want to spend time with their lovers like BEAST. Hyunseung doesn’t want to go but Doojoon forces him. In class, there’re fewer than 10 people including Hyuna and I. We had breakfast early today because she need to take the medicine. She is resting her head on the desk looking blankly so I do the same facing her

“Are you tired?” I asked and she shook her head lightly smiling

“Sleepy?” I put my hand on her hand which was lying on the desk while she yawned

“Wae? Why couldn’t you sleep last night? Because of me?” I chuckled

She turns her head to the opposing direction not looking at me. Someone is shy~.

“Yah~” I whined lowly shaking her arm lightly but she didn’t react

Since our chairs are a little far from each other, I try to pull her chair quietly not wanting to gain any attention. Then I hold her hand again and put both of them on my lap

“Hyuna~” I mumbled continuously enough for her to hear

Finally, she turns to me with wide smile. Hold on, she’s trying to hold her laugh.

“Did you just play dumb with me?...Yah~” I pouted after she nodded. Did I just pout? Seriously, I POUTED?

“I told you there was something weird between them” a voice suddenly came out startling Hyuna and I

We both look up and see 4BEAST standing in front of us with smirks on their faces

“You…” I was speechless

“Liar!!... Do you underestimate me? I know whenever you lied, Jun” Doojoon smacked my head

“Aish…” I rubbed it

Out of sudden, a hand rubs my head along with mine and it’s from Hyuna.

“Ew…Cheesy…I’m not used to with this scene…” the BEAST’s maknaes complained

“We should celebrate this” Gayoon suggested

“Yes!! We haven’t had party for winning the competition and hyung’s birthday. Should we have one tonight?” – Yoseob

“But tomorrow we have a prom” – Kikwang

“How about we use that as a party? Prom is party right?” – Dongwoon

“That’s a good idea” Doojoon nodded in agreement

“Hyuna, do you want to go shopping with us? We’ll go to the salon as well” Jihyun suggested but Hyuna didn’t react

“Please~ Unnie~” Sohyun made a puppy face and finally Hyuna nodded

“YAY!!” the girls jumped around happily

“Do you need us accompany?” – Kikwang

“Ani. We can go by ourselves…Besides, let’s make it day for girls only” Jiyoon crossed her arms on Gayoon and Sohyun’s shoulders

“Gayoonie… I want to go with you” Yoseob whined. I’m not surprised because if you see Gayoon anywhere, Yoseob is always beside her

“Just one day…No just morning and afternoon, we can meet in the evening, okay?” Gayoon smiled as he nodded sadly

“Hyuna, I’ll pick you up at 7AM, is that okay?” Jiyoon asked as Hyuna accepted happily. What about me? Another boring day.

Hyuna and I are heading to the parking lot and I notice she’s walking slower and slower. She hasn’t recovered fully, the weather’s cold and she didn’t sleep well. She must be exhausted

“Climb on” I bent down in front of her and she did right away. It never happened this way in the past

Her arms are crossing around my neck while our cheeks are touching each other

“Don’t you give something to someone who help you?” I turned my head to look at her

She smiles widely shaking her head before giving a peck on my lips. Why do I feel like I’m the happiest person in the world?
