{Kim’s mansion}

After spending one day on thinking, I decide to come here because I don’t know anyone else relate to Hyuna except the nanny

“Junhyung, what’re you doing here? We didn’t text you” the nanny seemed shocked when she saw me

“Yes. I came here because of Hyuna. She’s absent whole week”

“About that…She goes somewhere for few days” she looked depressed

“With her father?”

“Ah…Yes” I know she lied

“Nanny, I want to ask about her mother and brother” I asked straight to the main point

“I don’t know. Please go home” she about to close the door but I stopped her in time

“Look. This. Joe pulled me to the filthy room and gave this to me” I gave her the diary

“My master didn’t have a diary. Go home, Junhyung. Have a nice week” she protested and closed the door. It’s impossible to ask her.

I sigh in defeat. I rushed here right away after hanging out with my friends. The result’s same.

{Monday}

“So? How’s it? Is that true?” Gayoon asked me immediately when she saw me entering the class

“She didn’t say a word about it” I shooked my head

“Did you show her the diary?” – Hyunseung

“Yes. But she said her master didn’t have a diary and gave it back to me” my eyes got widen realizing something

“What’s wrong?” – Jina

“She used past tense when she mentioned about her master”

“So your theory is right” – Doojoon

“But what if Hyuna’s mother had gone with her lover, she could use past tense too” - Jihyun

“Why don’t you ask Hyuna’s father, hyung?” Dongwoon said innocently. Our maknae is so navie.

“Did you know who you just mentioned?” Kikwang smacked his head

“Hyung~” Dongwoon whined

“JUNHYUNG OPPA!! I’M BACK!!” someone suddenly shouted making me almost fall down from the chair

“Crazy girl’s back. Hell’s returned” Yoseob mumbled. I know whose the voice is.

“Awh, you missed me that much and fell down. So cute~” Hara ran to me. Here we go again. Always imagines things.

“No. WE all wanted to fall down when we heard your voice. It’s ANNOYING” Hyunseung hated her. That’s my best bestfriend

“Woa~ I didn’t you guys like me too”

“You’re crazy, unnie” Sohyun shooked her head

“Don’t lie to yourself, you think I’m cute, don’t you?...Oppa, I heard some rumors saying you become Hyuna’s tutor” Hara held my arm

“Yes. So?” I pushed her away

“Poor you. That girl is horrible. Untidy. Weird. Scary. And ugly, too. You must be stressful because of her”

“No, I’m not. Stop saying bad things about someone you didn’t know, Hara”

“Junhyung, Mr.Kang wants to meet you in the office” a classmate called me

“Okay. I’m coming” Thanks God. I can get away from Hara.

Hyuna’s problem is still stuck in my head. Maybe because I too focus on thinking about it, I don’t know where I’m going and when I look up, I’m standing in front of the clinic. Hold on, the clinic. That time I sent Hyuna to the clinic. YES, that guy is my only hope. I enter the room but another man greets me

“Can I help you?” Gosh, they must be friends. Same question.

“Uhm, actually, I’m looking for another doctor that I met days ago. I have something to ask him” I rubbed my head

“Another? Ah, you mean Seungho? He’s just my friend. He doesn’t work here”

“Oh…Can you tell me where he works? It’s really important to me”

“He works at Seoul Hospital. You should be fast. He’ll go aboard this weekend”

“Nae?...Thank you. I have to go” I’m stuck again

“You’re welcome”

{Yong’s mansion}

“Why you call me, appa?” I sat down on the sofa tiredly

“We’re your parents. We want to talk to our son. Is that wrong?” my father raised his eyebrows

“No. But it’s still weird. You always call me at the weekends. Is there something you want to tell me?”

“I told you. He knows” my mother giggled. So there’s really something he wants me to do?

“I have a business meeting in Seoul tomorrow. Do you want to join?”  he smirked. I hate his smirks, like he knows I’ll accept it

Wait a second, I can come to Seoul Hospital to find that Seungho guy. And I can skip class. That’s not a bad idea afterall.

“Okay, I join. When’ll we go?”

“Really? You’ll come?” they seemed shocked

“Yes, is something wrong?”

“I thought you would stay to prove us that you’re independent” my mother said

“It’s just one day. Beside, I want to visit my university”

“Don’t be so sure, son. You haven’t won yet” my father chuckled

“We’ll see” I smirked

{At Seoul}

My parents have gone to the meeting. I’m in the room of the hotel alone. My family is rich but just in my town’s level. In Seoul, it’s VERY expensive to buy a house. That’s one of the reason my parents not let me go to Seoul. I call a cab and tell the driver go to Seoul Hospital. I reach it sooner than I thought. Maybe because it’s accidently near my hotel.

“Excuse me, does doctor Seungho work here?” I asked a nurse

“You mean doctor Yang Seungho?”

“I’m not sure. My friend asked me to give him something. I just know he’s about 27, 28 years old” I lied

“Oh, that’s doctor Yang Seungho. That’s his office” she pointed at the room in the corner

“Thanks” I bowed smiling

“Come in” I heard a voice after knocking the door as I entered

“May I help you?” That’s him.

“Uhm, I…” it was hard to start the conversation

“You look familiar” he spoke

“I’m Yong Junhyun and I was the one brought Hyuna to the clinic when you were in my school” I sat down

“Oh, so what brought you here? I have a surgery at 1PM so be quick” his face changed after he heard Hyuna’s name

“Please read this” I put the diary on the table

“What’s this?”

“Just read and you’ll know”

“How could you have this?” he asked me after finishing reading

“Uhm, I know it’s weird but Joe directed me to her mother’s room and gave this to me”

“Oh, I understand. I know Joe’s a smart dog. So what do you want to ask? You can’t just come here to show me this” Man, he’s clever.

“I…It’s just my theory but…Did her mother and brother died?” I stared at the floor when he kept silence

“I know you know the truth. Please tell me. I’ll help Hyuna come to normal state. You want her be like that forever?” I broke the ice

“Alright, we can’t hide it forever…It was their birthday. Hyuna and Byunghyun wanted to fly their kites so their mother brought them to the park. Before that day, there were a heavy rain…everything were still wet. Hyuna’s kite got stuck on the tree. He climbed on the tree to get it even their mother and Hyuna protested…He slipped and fell down. His head was hit by the rocks around the tree. They called the ambulance but it was too late. His brain had been bleeding inside. Because Hyuna’s mother was too hurt of losing her son, she got critical heart attack and…passed away after an hour” he sighed before telling me the story

“Since then, Hyuna turns into this?” although I had prepared myself, I still got shocked what Hyuna had been through

“She cried a lot until she ran out of tears but she still screamed and shouted wanting her mother and brother comeback…After the funerals, she became quieter and quieter…Mr.Jaehyun rarely came home after that”

“What? His daughter was having hard time and he wasn’t beside her?”

“I don’t know…They’re far from each other since that time. Mr.Jaehyun had a meeting in the day they died. When he heard the news, he stood still almost an hour…”

“What about her older sister?”

“She lives in Seoul with her husband. She couldn’t be here for too long. After she left, Hyuna…”

“Oh gosh…” My theory’s right. This’s the first time I hate when I’m right.

“Hyuna always wears man clothes. I think because she wants to have feelings that Byunghyun’s beside her…She…Her only friend is a dog…” he closed his eyes sadly

“You’re a doctor. Why don’t you help her?”

“I’m a doctor not a psychologist. More than that, she hasn’t said a word. How can we cure when she doesn’t speak”

“What’ll happen when she continues being like that?”

“Well, she’ll lose all her emotions. Seem like it’s already happened. And she’ll lose her voice”

“What do you mean?”

“That means even when she wants to speak, they’re just random words like a baby because she hasn’t talked for a long time, she forgets it”

“Oh, I understand” I nodded

“I just wonder. Do you like her? Hyuna doesn’t have a friend and you two seem like just met each other in short time”

“Uhm…About that…I’m the kid her mother metioned in her diary”

“Ah…You DO like her…Are you sure you can help her?” he smiled as I blushed. Okay, that sounds wrong.

“I’ll try my best”

“Trying isn’t enough, Junhyung. Please be faster than her sickness”

“What’re you talking about?” I didn’t understand

“I told you. Her mother died because of heart attack. Hyuna…”

“She has heart problems?”

“Yes. She can’t do anything too tirely”

“Like running?”

“Yes. If we don’t cure it, the worst thing is we have to change her heart. And that’s dangerous”

“I understand. I’ll make sure she become a normal and healthy person” I can do it, right? I think.
