“You’re hungry?” I saw Hyuna was eating in the kitchen as she nodded

“Aren’t you afraid that you may gain weight if you eat at midnight? Girls usually care about that” I took a seat beside her after taking a glass of water and she shooked her head

She offers a spoon of rice to me. I’m surprised at first but still open my mouth for her to feed me.

“Oppa!!” Hara appeared making me almost choke

“What?” I said while chewing

“Why you used that voice to me?”

“Sorry. Why you called me?”

“Why haven’t you slept?”

“Because I’m not sleepy”

Hyuna taps me while pointing at her dish and Hara.

“Do you want to try some?” I turned to ask Hara

“No, thanks. I don’t want to be fat. Boys like skinny girls” Hara rejected

“Well, not me. Eat more, Hyuna. You’re too thin”

I know Hara too well, she’ll say something stupid about Hyuna if I don’t defend for Hyuna but it’s true though. I don’t like skinny girls, they look like moving – skeletons. Hara looks mad but doesn’t say anything and leave. Well, no one invites her. I chat with Hyuna when she nods for answers in her eating. I ate a little because I knew she was hungry. She’s really cute when she eats. Before coming back to my room, I help Hyuna wash the dish and the cookers.

“You leave now?” I saw Hyunseung was packing his clothes

“Yeah. I…have some stuffs to do” he didn’t look at me while saying

“What about the essay?”

“We finished already. Tomorrow, teacher’ll let us play. Anyway…Bye, Junnie” he walked out without waiting for my responses. What’s wrong with this guy?

{The next day}

“Where’s Hyunseung?” – Doojoon

“He left last night. He said he had some stuffs to do” I yawned

“Jina unnie left too. We didn’t see her when we came to Hyuna’s room” - Gayoon

“Do you know when she left?” I was curious because Hyuna sighed but she denied

“Well, maybe they want to have private time together” – Sohyun

“Silence!!...Because we finished our work yesterday so today I let you play at the fall” teacher announced as my class exclaimed happily

“Quiet!! Remember to be careful. There’re a lot of rocks there. They’re small but very sharp. You’ll injure yourself badly if you fall. Okay, you can go now”

“What can we play at the fall except watching the water?” Kikwang complained when we were on the way to the fall

“I have no idea. Why do the others seem happy?” – Yoseob

“If anyone see this scene, they’ll think us as a kindergarten than a high school class” – Jihyun

“Teacher’s right. There’re a lot of rocks here. Careful” my group was helping the girls walking on the rock. Of course, I helped Hyuna.

When I think there’re a few rocks left, I let her hands go and walk ahead to check the way. Out of sudden, a shadow’s falling down pass me. Like an instinct, I grabs her body and catches her in time. We both fall down and lie on the rock. Luckily, she’s on me. You know who. Hyuna.

“Are you alright?” I looked at her as she smiled

“Hey, are you okay? What happened? Why both of you’re on the ground?” my friends approached us and she got off me

“Don’t know. She lost her balance…Ouch” it’s was painful when I tried to move my body

“What’s wrong? You hurt somewhere, oppa?” – Gayoon

“My back’s hurt and I can’t move my left arm”

“Mwo? We should go to the clinic then” the boys helped me get up

“Oh my god. Your back is bleeding, oppa” – Sohyun

“, we should hurry” – Doojoon

“It’s fine. It’s not your fault. Don’t worry” I patted Hyuna’s head after noticing she was feeling guilty

{In the clinic}

“I told you to be careful and you didn’t listen to me…” teacher was scolding me

Out of nowhere, Hyuna runs to teacher, bows and points at herself continuously.

“Erm…If so…Boys, packing his stuffs for him and one of you’ll take him home” teacher might feel weird about seeing Hyuna apologize

“No, teacher. I can still drive with my right hand” I protested

“Oh…Suit yourself but the boys should go with you. Just in case. Understand?” teacher didn’t dare to look at Hyuna

“Yes, teacher” the boys answered in unison

“Alright. Take a rest, Junhyung” teacher left the room right away

“Yah!! Why did you apologize? I told you. It’s not your fault” I spoke as Hyuna lowed her head

“Oppa, you said that make her feel more guilty. You know that?” – Jiyoon

“Oh…I didn’t know that…”

“So what’ll we do? Teacher said we can go home early than the others if we want” – Dongwoon

“I think we should go now. The fall is boring” – Kikwang

“Yeah, and he has medicine to take” Doojoon pointed at me

“Sorry if I destroy the fun”

“What’re you talking about? Thanks to you, we can go home earlier, oppa” – Gayoon

“That’s right…But are you sure you can drive with one arm?” – Yoseob

“Yes, I’ll drive slowly”

“Okay. Sit here. We go to take the luggages” all of them walked out including Hyuna

“How can I survive until my arm recovers?” I thought

{At my apartment}

Hyuna gets out the car as quick as possible after I stop the engine. What’s wrong with her? She unlocks the door in seconds and comes to take out the luggages from the car.

“Yah!! It’s supposed to be men’ job” I wanted to take the luggages from her but she resisted and took them inside

“Aish…” I followed her

My house looks the same. I’m impressed. We left Joe here for three days and the house doesn’t change. I showed him where I put his food and he can drink water from the sink. I know he’s a smart dog but doesn’t know he doesn’t mess things up. Don’t know how but Joe’s helping Hyuna push the luggages to the bedroom. I know she won’t let me do anything so I sit down on the sofa. The door’s bell rings, Hyuna runs to the door to check before I can. Seriously, I just broke my arm not broke my legs.

“Appa?” I saw my father standing in front of Hyuna

“Junnie!! What happened to you?” he was shocked

“It’s nothing. I was careless” I rubbed my head

“Oh…So it’s true?” he sat down beside me

“Nae?” I didn’t understand

“About Jaehyun’s daughter”

“Ah…Yeah…Mom told you”

“Yes, everything…I didn’t know he had gone through so much pain” he leaned his back on the sofa

“Who?”

“Jaehyun. He was my bestfriend. I used to blame him because of his attitude’s change. Our companies were helping each other but he suddenly stopped and did alone since then” Lucky for us, Hyuna was busy unpacking stuffs so she couldn’t hear the conversation.

“Oh. I didn’t know you knew Mr.Jaehyun”

“I know him well and I know how much pain he went through when his wife died. He loved her a lot”

“Ah, appa. Did you pay my bills?”

“Bills? No, I didn’t”

“Weird. I didn’t, either. Who paid that?”

“Jaehyun. His daughter lives here so he won’t let her suffer anything”

“Oh…You want to have lunch with us? Hyuna’s cooking skill is amazing” I got an idea to make my father get to know Hyuna more

“Psf…Your mom is right. You like her” he smirked

“I…I’m…I’m not” I was speechless

“Whatever, Junnie” he the TV with a satisfied smile

{Monday}

“Hyung!! Here’s your list” Yoseob just turned back from the teacher’s office

My friends act like Hyuna. They don’t let me do anything. It’s really annoying since I broke my ARM NOT LEGS. Jina and Hyunseung don’t come to school today. Maybe they go on a trip with each other.

“Let’s see who has highest…score” my eyes got widen

“I took a wrong list?” – Yoseob

“No…It’s…”

“Someone take your 1st place?” Kikwang said with a teasing voice

“WHAT?” my friends shouted when I nodded

“You’re serious? Who?” Doojoon snatched the list

“MWO?” they turned to Hyuna immediately as she looked at them blankly

“Stop that. Teacher comes” I request as they returned to their seats with shocked faces

“Before we start our lesson, I have something to tell you. This month is December, right? We have some events and one of them is dancing competition between high schools all over Korea. So we’ll have dancing competition in our school first to choose one team attend the national one…Junhyung, make a list who’ll attend and give it to me, okay?” - Mrs.Park

“Yes, Mrs.Park”

“Have you checked your scores? Is something wrong?” , I forgot passing the list to the others.

“I forgot to give it to class” I stood up

“Oh, it’s fine. The scores are better than the previous one anyway. We even have one person get full marks this semester” she smiled friendly

“Woa~ Junhyung oppa gets full marks” I heard Hara’s voice from behind

“No. Junhyung isn’t 1st place this time” Mrs.Park denied gently not making me feel sad. I wasn’t sad. I didn’t care being 1st place or not.

“So who, teacher?” a lot of my classmates asked at the same time

“Hyuna” she said simply

I can feel stares are all watching Hyuna but she’s too busy making the list for me so she doesn’t notice. See? She doesn’t let me do anything even WRITING.

“Father’s power” I knew Hara was smirking when saying this even I didn’t look at her

“If you want, I can give you her test papers and you can check if her marks are because of her father or not…Okay, let’s start the lesson” Mrs.Park protected Hyuna as well. In your face now, Hara.

{Break time}

“Should we attend this competition?” we were sitting in the cafeteria

“I see no harm if we do” – Doojoon

“I agree” – Jiyoon

“Okay, I’ll…Hyuna’ll write down our names” my pen was taken away by Hyuna

“Look like hyung’s having a babysister” Kikwang joked as I glared at him

“Hyuna, you forget to write your name” Gayoon talked and Hyuna shaked her head

“Why you don’t want to join? It’s for fun” – Jihyun

“You just need to dance not speak. Join with us~” Dongwoon whined

“Hyunie, join with us~” Yoseob did with Dongwoon

“Yay!!” they smiled widely after Hyuna agreed

“We’ll discuss after school…Yah!!!” she took away my spoon

“You look like a baby now, Junnie” my friends laughed when seeing she was feeding me. EXTREMELY embarrassed.
