Chap 9
The Tutor
“Hyunie…When…did you come home?” Hana ran to Hyuna
Hyuna looks at noona and then turns to me. Tears suddenly fall down from her eyes. My eyes got widen. She read it already?
“Hyunie…” noona wiped Hyuna’s tears when Hyuna was hugging the diary
“Ow…Ar…Br…” Hyuna screamed out some random words. She really can’t speak
“Young master…” nanny was depressed
“Mianhae, Hyunie…Please calm down” noona cried
I stand still. I don’t know what to do. This is the first time I saw Hyuna cry this much. She keeps looking each of the pictures. She can’t stop crying
“Sr…Nx…Pz…” she seemed want to say something but she couldn’t
“Unnie understands…It’s hurt…But you have to let it go, Hyunie. Past is the past. Don’t be like this…” noona hugged her sister when Joe was Hyuna’s cheeks to clean the tears but they were still falling
“Uh…” Hyuna suddenly fainted
“Hyuna!!” I rushed to them
“Hurry, call a doctor…Junhyung, bring her to her room” noona told nanny as I carried Hyuna bridal style
“Hyunie…” noona cried harder
“Noona, she’ll be alright” I patted her shoulders
We’re all waiting outside Hyuna’s room
“Doctor, how’s my sister?” noona asked when seeing the doctor came out
“She’s fine now but you know her condition, Hana…I think we should tell your father…” he may be Hyuna’s private doctor
“Aniyo. You also know he won’t care. Why bother to tell him?” she protested
“But…Fine…Here is her medicine. Make sure she use it on time. Now just let her sleep” he sighed before giving her a packet
“Thanks, doctor…Nanny…” she nodded
“Yes…Doctor, please follow me…” nanny directed him
“Junhyung, I think you should go home. It’s almost midnight” she told me
“Arrasso, noona but can I see her before leaving?” I suggested
“Okay. Take your time. I have to call my husband…By the way, Junhyung, thank you” she smiled weakly to me and walked away
I enter the room and go to Hyuna’s bed. Joe looks at me when lying beside her. She’s sleeping but I can feel she can’t breathe normally. I want her show some emotions on her face but this is not what I want.
“Your mother and brother will be upset when they know you’re like this. You should live happily for you and for them, Hyuna…Good night. See you next week” I bent down whispering to her ear and kissed her forehead
“Good night, Joe” I rubbed his head and left
{Wednesday}
“Hyung, will she go to school today?” Kikwang asked me
“I don’t know” I shooked my head
I told my friends about what happened on last Friday. Hyuna didn’t show up after that day. I can’t do anything. She’s having hard time. I know Hana noona’s beside her. Everything will be okay right?
“Hyung!! Hyung!!” Yoseob ran to me out of sudden
“Calm down, Seobie. What’s wrong?” – Hyunseung
“Scho…School…School gate…” Yoseob said between his breaths
“What’s at school gate? Bi Rain comes here?” Jina raised her eyebrows
“NO. Come!!” he held my wrist and pulled me with him as the others followed us. If strangers look at us right now, they may think we’re gay couple
“Look!!” Yoseob pointed at somewhere after we reached
“Is that…” I still didn’t recognize
“Omo, Hyuna” Jina covered . That’s Hyuna?
She’s surrounded by many boys. She’s totally different. Her hair is black and she ties it showing her milky skin. She’s wearing girl uniform not boy uniform anymore. Because of that, everyone can see her perfect figure. I think my nose’s bleeding. She’s gorgeous. She suddenly turns to my direction. Then she comes to me. I mean my friends and I.
“Hyuna?” Gayoon titled her head as Hyuna smiled for the answer. Wait!! What? Hyuna smiles?
“Woa~ You changed…A LOT” Jiyoon looked at her from head to toe as Hyuna nodded happily. I know Jiyoon means Hyuna’s attitude
“Are you okay? Did something happen to your head?” I touched her forehead and she shaked her head. Look like she still can’t talk. Still have work to do
“Unnie, you’re so beautiful” Sohyun pulled Hyuna for a hug as Hyuna looked surprised
“That means our maknae like you” Doojoon spoke as Hyuna hugged Sohyun back
“Hyuna, do you want to join our group?” – Jihyun
“Yeah, that’s right. I guarantee that it’ll be fun” Yoseob acted aegyo as Hyuna laughed nodding continuously. I feel happy for her.
“Yay!! I’m older than her” Dongwoon exclaimed
“So…? You’re still the maknae among us” Hyunseung said with a smirk and Dongwoon pouted
“We should go somewhere to celebrate this day. We have new member” Jina crossed her arm around Hyuna’s shoulder
“My restaurant after school. Okay?” – Kikwang
“OKAY” the others said in unison excitedly
I notice that Hyuna’s smiling to me so I give a smile as well
“Oppa, who’s she? New student?” I turned and saw Hara and her group
“Ani. She’s our classmate” Hyunseung answered for me
“Classmate?...Hyuna?” Hara recognized
“Yep” Kikwang smirked as Hyuna looked at us blankly
“She’s Hara. She studies in same class with us. She’s my childhood friend” I whispered to her as she nodded lightly
“Ew…No need to whisper here, hyung. Stop being cheesy” Yoseob made a disgusting face and my friends brusted into laugh
“Oppa…” - Hara
Hyuna suddenly steps to Hara and shows her hand with a smile. Hara shakes it after a while standing still. I sigh in relief. I thought Hara might to something bad toward Hyuna. Stop thinking bad about Hara, Junhyung. She’s just full of herself. She isn’t bad
“Hey, time for class” I called Hyuna when I heard the bell
“Hyung~ We’re in same class with you too~ Why just her? ~” Dongwoon whined
“He’s not with us anymore” Doojoon and Kikwang pretended sobbing
“Yah!!” I shouted
“Unnie, don’t care about them. Let’s go with us” Sohyun pulled Hyuna away with the other girls after seeing Hyuna’s dumbfounded face
“You can’t lie this time. You’re so in love with her…deeply” Hyunseung crossed his arm around my shoulders
“Maybe…Let’s go to class…” I chuckled and we left Kara alone
“He didn’t deny…Omo…Yay!!” I heard the youngers screaming behind
“Good morning, teacher” my class stood up and bowed when Mrs.Park entered
“Good morning. Sit down” she smiled
“So Hyuna really studies in this class from now on?” she noticed Hyuna sitting with me as Hyuna smiled for the answer
“Did she…Did you…just smile?” Mrs.Park was shocked. Who didn’t at first?
“Yes, teacher. She did…Can you start teaching now?” I suggested
“Ah, right…Class, open your book, page 309” Mrs.Park glanced at Hyuna for a while before heading to the board
If you think this weird day ends like this, I’ll tell you. NO. It just starts.
“Hyuna, can you do this?” Mrs.Park asked when we were doing some exercises. We are studying Mathematics, duh?
“I’ll…” my sentence was cut off because Hyuna stood up all of sudden
“WOA!!” my class exclaimed when she took the chalk. We are all surprised including me.
Hyuna is writing the answer. Look like she knows how to solve it. She did listen to me when I taught. I bet all of my classmates are opening their mouth widely in shock but I don’t care. I’m so happy right now. Suddenly, I feel something hit my head and it’s a piece of paper
“Is it me or her handwriting is familiar?” it was from Hyunseung
I look at it. Can’t be? My eyes get widen and I take my notebook out immediately to check. Guess what? He’s right. So she’s the one? I can’t believe it.
“Uhm…It’s right…A+” Mrs.Park spoke as I was pulled me out of my thought
After that, I just keep quiet glancing at Hyuna so many times. Some, she notices and gives me a smile
“Hyung, hyung…” someone shaked me
“Humh?” I looked around and everyone had gone home
“Why are you sitting still? Time to go home” – Doojoon
“Where’s Hyuna?”
“Her driver picked her up. You sat beside her and you didn’t know?” – Jina
“Look at your face and I know she’s the one” – Hyunseung
“She’s what?” – Dongwoon
“She helped you compose song. Am I right?” – Gayoon
“How do you know?” I turned to her
“When I saw your notebook, I somehow felt it was familiar but I couldn’t remember. But back then, I finally recognized it”
“If so, she has helped you a lot but you didn’t know, hyung…Try to remember, hyung…Was there anything else weird?” – Yoseob
“The bottle of water?” I titled my head
“Remember the time I ran in P.E class for Hyuna? When I walked to my bag, there was a bottle of water next to it. But it was from Hyunseung…” I explained
“Ani. I didn’t buy that” Hyunseung shooked his head. WHAT? Don’t tell me it was from…
“Ah, that day…That day, I saw Hyuna bought a bottle of water from the machine…” Dongwoon said innocently. It was really from her. You thought she was bad, Junhyung. Damn you, Junhyung.
“Look at his face! Look like he did something bad to her that day” – Jihyun
“Aish…I come home first” I sighed walking the class
“Hey, wait for us” my friends followed me
“No need to be sad, oppa. Can’t you see Hyuna isn’t mad at you? She smiles at you, doesn’t she?” – Jiyoon
“And you still can do something for apology” – Jina
“Yeah…Thanks guys” I’m lucky to have them as friends
{Kim’s mansion}
“Hi, Junhyung” the nanny greeted
“Hi…You seem happy today. Is it because of Hyuna?”
“Of course, it is. Young master is better” she smiled widely
“Hana noona went back to Seoul already?”
“Yes. She had to go to the special party with her husband”
“How was she? By the way, nanny. Why didn’t Hyuna go to school few days ago?”
“Nothing. She kept sitting still on the bed for two days after waking up. After that, she was like that. Hana was amazed. Young masters went out together”
“Oh…Has Hyuna come home yet?” I nodded understanding
“Yes. She is in dancing room”
“Dancing room?” I was shocked
“The room is on the same floor with her room. You haven’t seen it?” This mansion is enormous. How can I know?
“Ah, Joe can show you” nanny spoke when Joe ran down to me
“Hi, Joe. Where is your master?” I bent down rubbing his head and he ran away wanting me follow him
When I’m outside the room, I hear loud music is playing inside it as I open the door. Hyuna is wearing shorts and tank top. Her legs and her waist are perfect. Damn you, Junhyung. Stop being ert. After watching her for a while, I knock the door and she turn to look at me.
