( let go of me! Let go)
I pushed and kicked around
" Is she okay?" asked Lay
" I think she's having a nightmare " said Kris
Kris held my hand and patted my head.
I scratched Kris and he yelped
" get off me, you jerk!" I said in Korean
Kris and Lay stared at me, it didn't seem like I was just dreaming
Tears came out of my eyes
" 媽mi, 爹d 不走啊. 不離開我啊" I said in Cantonese
(mommy, daddy don't go. Don't leave me)
'She speaks Cantonese too?' thought Kris
People started to stare at my direction and the manager was getting irritated
Kris pulled me close to him and rubbed my back
" Shhh...everything's ganna be okay... it's going to be okay" whispered Kris
I hugged Kris and I stopped dream talking.
Lay stared at me hugging Kris and sighed in relief. He was glad that I calmed down.
' I wonder what happened to her, I know it's not just a nightmare. It seems more than that. She's so young to experience something traumatic' thought Lay
Lay had a worried look, looking at Minhee reminded him of himself. Lay used to feel the way Minhee felt. He understood how it felt to be away from his parents and how harsh reality is.
30 minutes later I woke up and found myself in the arms of Kris.
I looked up and he was sleeping, I got my blanket and covered him with it.
I sat back on my seat and tried not to think about the past.
I looked at my mirror and saw tear stains.
I got up and went to the bathroom and washed my face.
I went back to my seat and slapped my self in my cheek.
Stop thinking about it Minnie, you are no longer Lee Si Yun. The Lee Si Yun that was suffering no longer exists, it's just the cheerful Kim Minhee now.
