"Is this him?" Asks Luhan
I took the magazine from his hands and stared at the person he was talking about.
My hands immediately trembled, I can't believe what I saw...it was him
No....it can't be. Why would a gangster be on the cover of a magazine.
I screamed and threw the magazine, I ran away from the restaurant and to the elevator.
I know I look crazy out there, but after what I been through, I can't control myself.
The model looked exactly like him but he had black hair.
I remember that smirk anywhere, it was him Rosaceae.
But why would he do that? He's a gang leader, he wouldn't reveal himself like this. If not he'll most likely be in the shadows and not out front.
I sat outside my door and thought of the picture. Even though I haven't seen him for 6 years, I would never forget that face.
I still remember what he said
"Your mine and only mine"
"Anyone try to go against me will be punished. What happened to Lilac will happen again"
Lilac, she was nice to me. She was the one that gave me warmth, she was the reason why I wasn't entirely cold blooded, she was the one who tried to save me but she failed and now she's dead. It's all my fault, if only I went with her she wouldn't have been found.
My tears came out and I started to cry.
Did Rosaceae found me? Is that why he's modeling, is it some kind of warning?
He can't just take me away...I'm always surrounded by people, he can't just do it in public. But he did that to Lilac... He took her back and killed her...I don't want to be dead, I still have to find my parents.
I became weak again, just like I was when I was at the orphanage.
I took my pills out but my hands were trembling and they poured all over the floor.
"Argh!"
I threw the bottle against the wall and screamed as loud as I can
"It's not real...it's not real..."
I threw my bag and everything I saw against the wall.
I took my hands and covered my ears. I cried harder and closed my eyes.
I suddenly felt something brush against my cheeks, I slowly open my eyes and saw a finger. My eyes were blurred by my tears, I couldn't tell who it was.
He wiped my tears, and pulled me close to him.
He patted my back and hugged me tight. He my hair and rubs my back.
It was comforting. We stayed like that for a long time and I somehow fell asleep in his arms.
When I woke up I was in my bed.
Who was that guy? Was it someone from Exo-m?
Who could it be? He smelt good, he smelt like lavender.
I know, I'm weird. It's not normal to smell others.
I got up and saw a cup of water on the table with some pills.
Chen must have put them there.
I took them and changed my clothes.
I headed down to the restaurant and Exo-m was there.
They were staring at me strangely, of course they would. I mean , I screamed out of nowhere and ran out of the restaurant like a crazy lady.
"What happened to your eyes?" Asks Xiumin
What does he mean? What happened to my eyes?
I took out a mirror and saw that it was puffy and smaller
"What do you think?" I said sarcastically
I took my sunglasses out and wore them.
We sat there eating our breakfast quietly, well some of the members were talking to each other.
"So what happened yesterday?" Asks Chen
"It's him...he came back"
Chen had a puzzle face
"What do you mean? Who are you talking about"
"You know the magazine...the guy Luhan showed...it's him. He's here to take me back"
Chen's face looked serious
"Are you serious? Are you sure it's him, I mean we know who he is ;why would he come back, and most of all make it so obvious?"
"I'm serious. It's him...I would never forget him,he looks exactly like him but with black hair"
"Hey who are you guys talking about?" Asks Tao
We stopped talking and stared at Tao
The other members stopped eating and stared us too
"Are you talking about him?" Asks Luhan as he show the magazine
Kris immediately smacked his head and grabbed the magazine
"What's that for!" Said Luhan
Xiumin and Lay gave Luhan a look
"Remember yesterday" whispered Lay
"Oh...yeah..."
"Hey, Minhee you know Lee Soo Hyuk?" Asks Luhan
I stared at him, Lee Soo Hyuk? Who's that? Why would he ask me that?
"The guy from the magazine...do you know him?" Asks Luhan
Lee Soo Hyuk...that's not his name
"His name is Lee Soohyuk?"
Luhan gave a weird face
"Don't you know him?" Questions Luhan
"Oh...no..."
"Then why did you ran off after seeing his face?" Asks Luhan
Kris glared at Luhan but Luhan ignored it
" He looked like someone I know"
Luhan raises his eyebrows
"Look like who?"
Why is he so nosy?
*cough*
We tilt our head an saw Kris coughing
"Are you okay?" Asks Xiumin
"Oh...yeah. my throat was a bit dry" said Kris
"So who does he look like, your boyfriend?" Asks Luhan
Both Tao and I spat soup out
"What?? Boyfriend" we both said at the same time
Hell no!! Rosaceae was never my boyfriend, even if he thinks that way, it wasn't the same for me. It was all an act
Tao kept staring at me
"He's not my boyfriend! I never had a boyfriend before"
"What?" Said Xiumin
They all stared at me weirdly
"Are you serious? Your just joking right?" Said Luhan
Why would I be joking? I don't find it odd.
"Yes I am serious. What's so weird about it?"
"To be honest Minhee you looked like you dated a lot of guys" said Xiumin
"Oh really? How?"
" your a pretty girl, and doesn't most guys want to date pretty girls? You look like you have experience" Xiumin replies
Well he's right about that, but that doesn't mean anything
"Well I'm not like that. Just because I'm pretty doesn't mean I'm going to date someone, I'm too young to even think about it. "
" Your not that young , it's not too early or late to date" says Lay
"Dude, I'm only 17. Besides you know our company, we're not allowed to date"
"Oh yeah, how can I forget"
I rolled my eyes. Lay can be so forgetful sometimes.
"What, are you secretly dating someone?" I said directly to Lay
Lay cringed and looked nervous.
Don't tell me he's dating someone right now?
Lay didn't reply so I can assume he has a girlfriend
"So...who is she? Is she a idol?"
"No, she's not." Says Lay
"ha! I knew it, I knew you had a girlfriend. Does the company knows about it? "
Lay looked down and the others stares at him sympathetically
"No they don't know" he replies
"How? Doesn't the manager get suspicious when you go see her?"
Lay sighed
"No he doesn't. I haven't seen her for 6 years, so obviously he can't get suspicious"
I raised my eyebrows
"You haven't seen her in 6 years and she's still your girlfriend?"
The other members looks away and Lay looks sad.
"We never broke up... So I still think of her like that."
"Really? Do you still talk to her though?"
Lay looked uncomfortable.
"No...she disappeared 6 years ago"
What!!!! His girlfriend disappeared? What does that mean?
Does it mean that she left him?
As if he heard my thoughts he said
"No...I don't know"
I wanted to ask more but he looks like he doesn't want to talk about it.
We ate quietly after that.
Exo-m did not have anything to do for today. Today was their one day vacation.
They all looked very happy, especially Kris.
"Minnie! Whatcha gonna do today?" Asked Tao
"Uh...I don't know yet. What are you doing?"
Taos eyes brights up
"I'm going shopping of course!"
Hmm... Shopping... That could only mean one thing...
"You wanna come with me?"
...Shopping=Gucci and I definitely do not want to go.
Last time I went, Tao bought a lot of Gucci. He even got into a fight with a woman just to get matching Gucci wallets for me.
"Sorry Tao, but I don't feel like going shopping"
"Oh... I see" Tao looked disappointed
I saw Luhan, Chen and Xiumin in the corner talking and laughing so loud.
I walked towards them and noticed Luhan was holding a map.
"Where are you guys going today?"
"oh, Minhee. Luhan says he's going to give us a tour around Beijing, you wanna come?" asked Xiumin
A tour...I don't need one, I've already been to Beijing already. I went to Beijing with Barom and the crew a long time ago.
"Uh...no it's okay"
That reminds me, Barom has a house here. Maybe he moved back to Beijing?
"Do you have any plans for today?" Asks Chen
"Yeah...I'm going to try to find my friend"
" Are you sure you don't want to come? Your going to miss out the good things about Beijing and we might not have enough time to do this again" says Luhan
"It's okay...if I find my friend, they'll show me around"
"Okay...but if you change your mind, text us and we'll find you" says Luhan
Wow, Luhan must be very proud of his hometown.
I headed back to my room and grabbed my stuff.
As I head out I saw Lay with a duffel bag.
"Hey, Lay where are you going?"
"I'm just going to the gym, you?"
"Really? Your going to practice right? You do know it's your day off "
Lay smiled and says
"I just want to be perfect."
"Okay then. Well I'm going to see my friends so if anything happens, give me a call."
I took my notebook out with Baroms address, I already checked online. It takes about 30 minutes to get there.
I hopped onto the nearest bus.
I wonder if Barom is still living there. He said that he'll move back there when he's 18.
I wonder if he still remembers me; what if he doesn't?
I think he will since we were very close, but I don't know. I guess I wouldn't know until I try.
I got off the bus and was surprised that everything looked the same. Well not exactly, some stores changed but otherwise it was the same.
This was a quiet place, there were small cafés , restaurants, book stores and supermarket.
There was a hill above where there were houses.
I climbed up those stairs and saw that familiar blue house.
There was a white fence surrounding it.
As I came closer and closer my heart raced. I couldn't wait to see Barom and tell him what I've been through.
I pressed the door bell and waited for someone to come out.
No one came, so I rang it a few more times. I even knocked on the door so hard that my hands hurt.
10 minutes later a elderly woman opened the door.
"Excuse me, but is Barom here?"
She gave me a weird look and said
"There's no Barom here, just me and my old man"
He's not here. He sold this house, but why?
"How long ago did you bought this house?"
"About 2 years ago"
"What's taking you so long!" Screamed a old man
The elderly woman screams back
"Just a minute!"
"I'm sorry, but I have to go." She closed the door.
Sigh. What did I expect, I mean it's 6 years now. Why would he stay in the same place?
I walked down the stairs and headed towards the bus stop.
As I walked, I heard some noise.
I turned around and saw nothing.
I walked quicker and heard footsteps behind me.
I ran and some one grabs my hand, I kicked the person at their stomach.
I ran but there were more of them behind me.
A black car suddenly stops in front of me and they surrounded me.
One of them grabs me and tried to shove me in the car.
*crack*
I turned around and saw the other guys on the floor.
"Let go of her" he said
