Chapter 24
"Oh Minhee ah! There you are, what are you doing?" Says Xiumin
He comes closer and his eyes stretches
Blood from the man poured out and leaked onto my feet
"What...the..."
"I think he's dead" I said
Xiumin looked shocked
" What happened?"
"I don't know...I saw blood and followed it to here" I said in a monotonous voice
It's obviously Heechul...that guy probably tried to run with the drug and Heechul finished him off...
"What should we do? Did you call the police?" Xiumin asked worriedly
"No, I didn't. "
I took my phone out and dialed the police station
"Hello"
"Yes. I would like to report for death" I said emotionlessly
"Okay, we'll be there soon. Please stay there" says the staff
"What did they say?" Ask Xiumin
"They'll come soon"
I turned around and went head towards the auditorium
"Minhee! Aren't you suppose to stay here" screams Xiumin
I gave a cold look to Xiumin and walked in.
To be honest, it's not my problem...So many happened to me and I just don't want to deal with this...

As I enter the room I saw Heechul around Barom.
I walked towards them and Heechul left when he saw me...
Something's up with Heechul...why would a top star like him sell drugs? He's pretty popular, if he gets caught...
"Si Yun..." Said Barom
I looked at him
He pats my shoulders and says
"I'm sorry...I shouldn't have been so blunt about your mom"
I look down and back up at him
"It's okay...it doesn't matter" I said emotionlessly
I know it hurts me...but I can't look weak...
Barom looks like he didn't believe it
"I know..." He says
He pulled me close and hugs me
"Barom..."
Are you still the same?
"Hmmm..."
"I saw Heechul Sunbaenim talking to you before...do you know him?"
Barom kinds of move a little
"Ugh...not really. Why?"
He hesitated ...does he know about Heechul?
"Just asking"
I can feel him exhaling...something's definitely up...Barom probably knows him more than I know.
He pulls away from me and looks away, then back at me
"How have you been living?" Asked Barom
"...you know, just living"
If I get caught...I'll have to hide again
"It's okay to not be okay." Says Barom

I turn around and see Chen waves his hands
"Looks like he's telling us to come over"says Barom

"Lets go, why don't you introduce them to me" says Barom

Barom tugs my arms and we went to Exo's table
"Ommo, Minhee...who's this? Your boyfriend?" asks Chen
Chanyeol and Kai rolls their eyes
"Boyfriend?" Questions Tao
"No...he's not!"
Luhan comes closer and stares at Barom
"Hey...you look familiar"
"Familiar?"
"Hey Lulu, are you just saying that to check him out? I'll tell Sehun" says Chen
"No ...Wait...the guy on Minnie's phone!" Shouted Luhan
Barom gives me a weird look
"Minnie? That's what they call you ?" He says in English
I thought he would say something about the phone

" oh...I remember. That picture! He's Minnie's best friend!" Says Tao
Tao saw that picture?
"Ah, yes...I am her best friend...But I don't call her Minnie. Her name is Si-"
"Her name is Minhee, of course" Kris says quickly
I glanced at Kris and he quickly looks away
Barom raises his eyebrows
"Really?" He replies in English
"I'll tell you later" I said in English
*tap on shoulder*
I turn and sees two police officers and Xiumin
"Excuse me miss, are you Kim Minhee?" Asked the tall one
The others were staring at me in shock
"Yes, I am"
"Can you come with us to the police station"
I glanced at Chen and Barom and they looked worried
"Don't worry, I'll be okay"
"Should we call manager Hyung?" Asks Tao
"I'll do it" says Kris
The two police officers headed towards the door with me in the middle.
As I turn around I saw Heechul in the corner and he gave me a cold stare
"Ms. Kim?" Says the shorter, better looking officer
"Oh...yes" I followed them out
(Meanwhile at the table)
"Omo, Minseok hyung what happened? Why did the police take Minnie!" Asks Chen
Xiumin looked nervous
"Yeah! Hyung, how come the police were with you?" Asks Kai
"There...there ...was..." Xiumin stutters
"What was there!!! Why did they take Min!" Yelled Chanyeol
"I saw..." Xiumin slowly says
"Saw what, Baozi?" Says Luhan
"Guys shut up, stop bothering Minseok..." Kris demanded
"Hello? Yeah, it's me. Hyung,Minhee's at the police station...yeah, I think that one...you'll send one over? Great...bye" Kris closes his phone and looks at Xiumin
"Now...Minseok, tell me what happened " Kris ordered
"Wow...what a hypocrite" Tao mumbles
Xiumin was still shocked and shaky
"I saw a dead body!" Xiumin blurts
"Dead body!!" The others shouts
The other people from the party stares at Exo's table
"Shhh! You don't want other people to find out!" Kris snaps
"Don't tell me...Minhee killed someone?" Questions Tao
'Now to think if it...she can kill someone, I still remember what happened to the burglar in Beijing ' thought Lay
"No she didn't...she's not that type of person to do that" says Barom
Chanyeol gives a hard stare
"Of course she wouldn't "
'Even when she got angry or sad she'll never take it out on others...she's always gentle and caring even though she doesn't look like it' thought Chanyeol
"And what about the body Minseok? Why did the police want Minhee?" Says Kris
"When I was on my way to the bathroom I saw Minhee. I came closer and I saw her standing in a pile of blood and a dead person was on the floor" said Xiumin
"I guess the police just wanted to do some questioning" said Chen
"I hope so...I hope they're not giving her a hard time right now" says Barom
(Meanwhile at the police station)
"I am Han Jung Woo, I'm a detective in charge of homicides...everything you say from here on out will be recorded and may be used in court" says the detective
"Ok..."
He doesn't look like a detective...but the scars on his face proves it
"Okay, first question...what were you doing at the scene of the crime?" Asks the detective
*door opens*
A young man wearing a suit and brief case comes in
"Sorry I'm late. I'm Park Joon Ha, I am representing Kim Minhee as her appointed lawyer" says the young man
Lawyer? I never called for one...
He looks at me and says
"Miss Kim, everything is under control. Mr.Lee sent me here to help you."
Boss personally sent a lawyer for me?
"Okay, then since your lawyer is here...you can answer the question now" says the detective
The lawyer came close and whispered in my ears
"Just talk briefly what happened, not anything that will cause problems"
I certainly don't need anyone to tell me that
"Ok...I was at the party that they had at the MBC studio ;I went to the bathroom and as I came out heading back, I saw trails of blood. I was curious so I followed that trail and the further I got the more blood there was...it lead to the janitors closet so I opened it and I saw the body"
The police wrote everything down and looked at me again
"Did you know the deceased?"
"No" I said in a poker face
Well...it is sort of a truth, I didn't know him
"Okay then...did you call the police?" He asks
"Yes"
"Then why didn't you stay there? Why did you go somewhere else? Was it maybe that you had something to do with the death of the deceased?" Says the police
"My client will not answer this...please do not accuse my client as there are no definite evidence that proves her guilty. If you continue to slander her with these accusations we will follow up and sue you for defamation"
The police stared hard
"I'm just saying, if she wasn't guilty why would she leave."
"Anyone would leave if they were in her position. Seeing something that horrifying will make them scared and terrified. Also, she did indeed report it to the police. If she really was guilty she wouldn't have called the police about it." says Lawyer
"Ok then. But we will have to collect your DNA samples for further investigations." Said the detective
"Ok..." I said
"Is there any more questions? If there isn't more, my client is free to go" says Lawyer park
The detective stares at me
"You said your name is Kim Minhee right?"
"Yes"
"Are you sure it's Kim Minhee?" Asks detective
"What kind of question is that? This is absurd! She answered your question and if you do not have anymore legitimate questions, we'll leave"
"About 6 years ago, I was working on a case,there was a missing child report of a child named Lee Si Yun. That child strangely looks exactly like you..."
I stiffen...wait, how is it possible? He's a korean police, and I am Chinese...it should be the Chinese police that's investigating the case...
"I don't know what your talking about"
"I am just saying...you strangely remind me of her"
"My client is not the person you are talking about...you have taken up our time and since you are done, we will take our leave"
Lawyer Park got up and I followed
As we got out the door, someone was standing there wearing a cap.
"Yoh, Joonha " the man shook lawyer parks hands
"Everything went well?" The man asks
"Of course, you know me. I'll always do my best"
The man was staring at me and it somehow seem familiar
"You should really thank Hyuksoo for introducing me to Mr.Lee"
Hyuksoo? Doesn't that sound familiar?
He takes off his cap and had a sly smirk
My eyes stretches
It's Rosaceae...what is he doing here??
"It's okay" he says in his deep mellow voice
Rosaceae glances at Lawyer park
" I'll be going now...if you need anything, give me a call" lawyer park handed me his business card
It's as if Lawyer park understand him ...
I stare at Rosaceae in a questioning way
"Why?"
He looks down and says
"Why what?"
Why did you come here? Why did you look for me? Why me?
"You know..."
"Actually I don't know..." He comes closer to my face and places his hand on my cheek
"Why don't you tell me"
I backed away a bit
"I know who you are..."
He smirks
"Of course you do"
And you still have the nerve to approach me??
What am I talking about?? He's Rosaceae...he's a gang leader, he's not scared of anything.
I glared at him and walked away...
Lawyer Park says Rosaceae introduced him to Mr Lee...Rosaceae must have some sort of connection with Mr Lee.
I can't stay in the company any longer...I have to leave soon. I don't know what he plans to do, but at this moment I don't care about becoming famous...I can still find my dad through Barom.
I walked out of the police station and it was raining.
I left my extra clothes at the studio...and I'm just wearing a dress.
I quickly ran near the street and stuck my hands out, waving for a taxi.
I've been waving for a long time, but there weren't any taxis...I'm soaked and wet...
And it's very late at night...
I can feel someone behind me...some reason rain isn't pouring on me...
I look up and see a jacket shielding me from the rain.
I can tell who it is...I recognize his scent...
Rosaceae.
I turn around and saw him...
He pulls me close and covers my head with his jacket.
I pushed him.
"Don't even" I snapped
I continued to wave for taxis but there weren't any...
"There isn't any taxi at this time...I have my car here, I'll drive you back" Rosaceae puts his hands on my shoulder
I brushed his hand away from me
"No"
No way am I going with you...I might not even come back
I continued to wave for taxis
"Your so stubborn "
All of a sudden he picks me up
"Let go!!!" I scream
"No...your going to catch a cold"
He carries me and walks towards his car
I start hitting his back but he won't budge.
"Let go!!!" I scream again
I bit his back hard
His eyebrow scrunged but he continued to walk
He opens his car door and places me inside and quickly goes to the drivers seat.
He starts the engine and the car starts to move.my hands reaches the door handle and I was about to open it until he grabbed one of my hand, holding it tightly
He drives out of the police station and waits at the intersection for the lights
I stare facing the window...he's holding my hands tight and won't let go
"Si Yun!"
I thought I heard someone scream my name from the outside
I looked out and I saw the same girl with purple hair from the washroom...
I'm know I'm not crazy...it was her
I think she knows me...
I smacked the windows with my hand but Rosaceae just drives away.
I gave him a dirty look...
"Can you let go of my hand? It's uncomfortable... I promise I won't jump out of the car"
I wouldn't know how to go back home anyways...
Rosaceae gives me a questioning look and lets go
I avoid staring at him...but I notice him looking at me every now and then
"Do you want me to drive you home or back to the company?" He asks
"Company"
Of course...I don't want any excuse for him to invite himself over...or stalk me.
The entire ride was quiet...I deliberately stayed silent.
I know he wants to talk to me...but he doesn't deserve it...
he took me away from my home...he cause me a lot of pain...he made me into a monster...a cold heartless monster that kills...that no longer is the same naive innocent girl from the past.
He stops in front of the company...
It's still raining...
I look out the window an see a guy holding a large umbrella.
I got out of my seat and opened the door.
Rosaceae quickly runs to my side and covers me with his jacket...
"I don't need it...we have umbrellas at the company"
I try to give it back to him but he just puts it back on me.
I got out and walk towards the door, but as I walked past the man...the man grabs me.
I was surprised and bit his hand
" ow!" He says
I recognize that voice...Kris?
I look up and see him...
"What are you doing here?"
He looks down on me and frowns
"What do you think? I'm here to pick you up, duh"
Here he goes again...he's back to himself...
"Why you?" I question
Kris had a unreadable face
"Why not me?"
He places his hand on my shoulder and forced me to walk...
We walk pass Rosaceae and I just look down. Kris stops all of a sudden and pulls Rosaceae's jacket off me and threw it back at him.
Kris stares at Rosaceae and gives him a smirk
Rosaceae got angry and slams his door.
We walk a little further and Kris stops all of a sudden...
I hugged my arms together...it's very cold and windy.
"Hold this" kris hands me the umbrella
He took off his jacket and places it on me.
He was only wearing a short sleeve shirt.
"Won't you be cold?" I asked
He leans his body onto my back and hugs me
"This way I'll be warm" he holds the umbrella
*thump thump*
My heart beat accelerates
What is this feeling? Is this how falling in love feels?
It feels like it but...Kris...
Sometimes he act like he cares and then most of the time he doesn't...
Kris bends down and places his chin on my shoulder
"Hey~" he whispers to my ears
My face immediately redden and heats up
I look away, staring at the rain
No...Lee Si Yun!! You can't...you can't like him. My consciousness tells me
What about Draco?
Draco?
My heart aches...I clutch my chest...
How could I forget about him...how can I move on to someone else?
Draco...
My tears starts to fall
"You are the only one that I love"
