Maybe Next time We'll Meet Again
It was about 11 pm when we got back to the hotel.
When I got back to my room I made sure to lock the door.
I took off my clothes and took a bubble bath. I haven't had one in a long time, I only take it when I'm stressed or exhausted.
Today wasn't really that bad, but I didn't expect to have so much things to do in one day.
I'm really doubting if this is the right path I should take. Is being an idol really that important? My ultimate goal is to find my parents, but I can never find them on my own.
If I become famous they'll see me and know that I'm doing well.
But would they want me back? No matter how hard I scrub the dirt out of my body, it'll never fade away.
They must have thought I ran away.
I'm such an unfilial daughter, making them sad and disappointed.
I got out of the bubble bath and showered off. I took the things I bought and lay them on my bed.
I bought about 5 dresses and 2 tops and a sweater. I took my clothes hanger and place them in my clothes. I hanged them in the closet and sat on my bed.
The miniature piano was exactly the same as the one I used to have. I wonder if mom and dad kept it in good shape?
I pressed the keys on the piano and it made a ping sound.
I played with it for awhile, I got bored and went out to the balcony.
There was a nice breeze, I looked up the skies and saw some stars.
Those stars reminded me of Draco. One night after we were done our mission we would sit and watch the stars together.
" The stars are so pretty"
"yeah" said Draco
I stared at Draco and his face looked sad.
"I wonder when we can finally go home"
"Soon... I'll get us out of here even if it's the last thing I have to do" said Draco
" Draco.... I don't know if my parents want me back "
Draco turned around and held my hands
" Si Eun, do you see that star right there ?" pointed Draco
I looked at the star he pointed, it was the most shiniest one
" just like that star I'll always be there for you. Even if your parents don't want you , I'll still want you" said Draco
I always believed what Draco said, no matter what happens he'll always be there for me but now he's not here by my side.
I looked up and spotted Draco's star
even though he wasn't here physically he was still here for me through his star.
" I miss you"
I always hide my true emotions, but today I couldn't. Everything that I do reminded me of Draco. When I ran after the car my memories of Draco kept coming out.
" I miss you too" said a voice
I turned around and saw a silhouette, he looked like Draco and he sounded like him too.
" Draco?"
I rubbed my eyes and he was still there, I came closer and he ran. He ran out of the room.
I ran out too but he disappeared.
Tears came out of my eyes
" Draco... Don't go"
I was sure that I saw Draco, I still remember his voice.
I sat at the floor in front of my room for a while.
Why would Draco come when I miss him and just disappear out of nowhere.
Am I crazy? Is it because I miss him so much ?
A door creaked and I saw Kris coming out.
He gave me a weird stare.
" why are you on the floor?" he asked
" its none of your business" I snapped
I stood up and wiped my face
"Gosh, I'm just trying to be nice. But I guess I was wrong" said Kris as he roll his eyes
Kris walked away.
I went to the gym and exercised all night.
Exercising was one way to numb out my pain. Even though I was tired, I worked until I couldn't.
As I worked out I couldn't stop thinking about Draco, I headed to the dance room instead and blasted the music loud. I practiced for hours , I wanted to make my moves perfect and I wanted to debut as soon as possible.
At some point my body gave in and I fell asleep.
The next morning I woke up and saw a sweater on top of me. It was a guys sweater.
I walked out and saw Xiumin running on the treadmill.
As soon as he saw me he stopped.
I threw him his sweater and he catches
" You awake now" asked Xiumin
" yeah... Your exercising this early?"
"mmhmm.. Im going on a diet now" said Xiumin
"Oh I see..."
"How bout you? Why are you practicing so late?" asked Xiumin
" I just want to be perfect"
"oh, don't work too hard though" said Xiumin
I went back to my room and took a bath. When I was done I lay on my bed, my body was sore
Hopefully there's nothing to do today.
I stared at my schedule. There was nothing for me to do today, Exo-m had a performance later.
I should be able to go back to Korea in a few days. I only have to do a photoshoot for Vogue China and film a cf for the cc lemon drink.
I took my laptop out and went on tumblr.
I scrolled down and saw a picture of me and Kris from the mv shooting.
I kept going down and saw a picture of me and Kris kissing.
What the heck? How did those fans get these pictures?
I saw some comments, there were fans bashing on me saying things like
" No! Kris Oppa is mine, that girl isn't good enough"
Stuff like that. But there were also people who said things like
" Wow, unnie is so pretty. They make a good couple"
Yeah right. They wouldn't say that if they knew how Kris really is .
In front of the cameras he acts as if he's the good leader that takes care of everyone but really off camera he's cold hearted and y.
There were also other pictures of the Exo-m members at the restaurant . Wow, these fans are obsessed.
I refreshed my tumblr and saw pictures of Exo-K from M! Countdown.
The boys looked so sweaty, I kept going down until I saw a picture of Kai and his armpit was up.
He didn't have any armpit hair... Weird... He probably shaved ? I don't know... I don't usually pay attention to people's armpits.
I was looking at the comments until one of them made me choke.
" Kai! Why you no armpit hair?"
" Good ;) I wanna kiss his cute armpit "
Are you serious? Some fans are sickos.
Ewwwww .... I wonder what Kai thinks about that.
I signed onto my Skype and Kai was on. I pressed his name and he came on.
Kai looked tired, he look like he's still on his bed .
I gave Kai a erted stare, one side of my lips were higher than the other and my eyes were squinted.
" what's up ?" said Kai
" hehehe"
I continue to stare at Kai and he look like he's ganna fall asleep
" what's with that face?" asked Kai
" Yoh, do you check your tumblr?"
" yeah... This morning.. Why?" asked Kai
" LOL, do you read fans comment about you?"
" naw... There's too much. I just look at pictures" said Kai
" Omg, you know most of your fans are so weird"
" How?" said Kai
" check this out"
I took my phone out and put the picture of Kai showing his pits.
"a picture of me and my armpit?" said Kai
" you shaved right?"
" of course, but what's so special about this picture?" said Kai
I laughed and Kai gave a puzzle face
I coughed and made my voice higher and more sqeally
" Kaiiiiiii.... Why you no armpit haiiiiiiir?"
Kai raised his eyebrows
I grabbed my glasses and talked in a nasally voice
" GOOOoooood...." I winked at Kai and continued " I wanna kiss his Y armpit" I wiggled my eyebrow , I learned this from Chen by the way. He always act like that in front of Tao to annoy him.
Kai's jaw dropped and his eyes stretched
I laughed, Kai's expression was so hilarious
" I don't really want to kiss your pits by the way. That's what your weird fans want to do"
"really ?" said Kai
" yuup... It's disgusting"
" anyways... I think I can come back to Korea in a few days. I only have a cf and photo shoot left."
Kai smiled
" That's AWESOME" said Kai
" hey didn't you want to tell me something yesterday?"
" oh... That. I wanted to know if your going to be in Korea on the 3rd." said Kai
" hmm.. the third? I think so? I have to check though. Why? "
Kai was fidgeting with his hands and looked down
" it's the day of my graduation. I want you to come" said Kai
Kai's grad? Isn't it parents only? Maybe I'm close enough for him to invite me.
" sure if I can make it"
" too bad we couldn't graduate together" said Kai
Me and Kai were the same age, he was born in January and I was born in August. We actually went to the same high school but I was in the year before him.
When I started to go to Seoul performing arts the principle bumped me up a grade because I was smart. I'm not trying to sound egotistic, but I'm smart only because my parents provided me the best education they had in China. Since I was their only child they put a lot of effort and money on me. I even had a tutor to help with my studies.
" hmm.. I guess so?"
Not really... I mean it would be fun to be Kai's classmate and all but since I graduated early I get more time to train.
" you have anything planned for today?" asked Kai
" Nope... I mean Exo-m has a performance and all but I have nothing to do today. You?"
" later in the morning,Exo-K has a photo shoot for L'Officiel Hommes. After that we have to go to Shindong sunbae-nim's radio show and then we have a fan signing at 5" said Kai
"wow... Must be good to be a celebrity "
" Minhee..." said Kai
*sigh*
" it's just that I've been training for a long time ... It's been 6 years and I still didn't debut yet "
" don't worry, I'm sure your going to debut soon" said Kai
" hopefully .."
"Hey Minhee..." said Kai
"yeah?"
" Are you dating Kris?" asked Kai quietly
What! Me date Kris? Why is he asking this all of a sudden ?
" NO! Where did you hear that from?"
Kai's face brighten and he smiled
" Oh... I saw it on an article on allkpop" said Kai
Allkpop? How does Allkpop know?
" what does it say?"
" Oh it shows a picture of you and Kris holding hands walking down the street. Then it says how there was rumors about Kris dating a SM trainee in the past and this picture confirms it.
They even know your name and that your a model and trainee at SM. " said Kai
Aish... I guess allkpop writers are obsessed fans too
" you can't always trust allkpop,they're not right all the times. I mean they assumed Hyuna was dating a guy, but really it was Amber"
"yeah I remember, but still why were you holding his hands?" asked Kai
" because we were filming for the Baby don't cry mv "
" OHhhhh" said Kai
I ended up talking to Kai for another hour. When I was done it was about 8am. I was hungry so I went across the street and bought congee.
To me the congee was okay but wasn't that great as what my mother used to make. My mom would always put abalone in it, but this one was just normal meat.
The congee didn't fill me up so I went to the café next door.
" Can I help who's next" said the cashier
" One French vanilla cappuccino extreme please" we both said
I turned my head and saw a tall good looking guy. His hair was brownish orange, his eyes were big and his skin was pale. He surprisingly looked like Sehun but a older prettier version. I stared at his clothes, they were very fashionable. He looked like a model.
He chuckled and said
" you go first"
When the cashier was done I went and sat at a empty table. I drank my cappuccino and took my sketchbook out.
The café was pretty cute, it had tree branches all over the place and the ceilings had leaves connecting to the trees on the floor. The tables were wooden and old fashioned.
I took my pencil out and started to draw everything I saw, I drew the trees and the tables. I looked up and saw Sehun's look-a-like drinking his coffee. I sketched him and moved onto drawing a couple by the window.
I wouldn't say I'm that great at drawing but I'm okay. I used to take art lessons when I was younger but I gave up . My parents expected too much of me and it gave me huge pressure.
I was drawing until I heard a sound
*Click. Click.Click*
I turned around and saw Sehun's Look-a-like holding a camera towards my side.
Was he taking pictures of me? That creeper... I thought he was normal.
I went up to him and grabbed his camera, I pressed view and saw a lot of pictures of me. I pressed delete until he grabbed his camera back.
" Yah! Why did you take pictures of me? are you a stalker?"
"..." he didn't say anything
I grabbed my things and stomped off.
He ran after me and grabbed my hand.
I turned and glared at him
" what?"
" I'm Evan" he said
Evan eh? What a weird name
" And I care because?"
"Because we're soulmates" said Evan
Soulmates? What the heck ? Who is he? I don't even know him
