Kris/Luhan
Hipster Exo Drabbles
Kris struggles with his bowtie as he looks around the dressing room. He and s are a sea of white, but the stylists are too busy taming Kai’s hair and finding Tao the right size shoes to help him tie a knot.
“This ing bow,” he curses in English, and he hears a chuckle. Turning around, he sees Luhan approaching him with an amused expression.
“Having trouble, duizhang?” Luhan asks teasingly in a sing-song voice. Kris frowns at him, but Luhan’s grin only grows. “I can help you, if you want.”
“Fine,” Kris growls, and it’s only because he really needs this bowtie to look right. Luhan attempts to pretend that he’s wasting no time, but they both know that the bowtie won’t get tied anytime soon.
Luhan smiles up at him as his hands climb Kris’s torso.
“Can’t keep your hands off of me?” Kris smirks, and Luhan just keeps smiling.
“It’s because you’re a dream in white,” Luhan replies unashamedly. His hands rest on Kris’s chest for several long moments. “Except…your crimped, center-parted hair I could do without. It’s a little eighties, don’t you think?”
“Wasn’t my idea,” Kris shrugs, grabbing hold of Luhan’s wrists.
“Is anyone watching us?” Luhan wonders without taking his eyes off of Kris’s face. Kris looks around surreptitiously, and it seems that the stylists have just discovered that Chanyeol’s pants are too short.
“No,” Kris replies, “they’re too busy panicking.”
“Good,” Luhan concludes, standing on his tiptoes and quickly pressing his lips to Kris’s. Kris lets out a labored sigh.
“Now I’ll be thinking about that kiss all night,” he complains, and Luhan laughs.
“Gives you something to look forward to after the awards show,” Luhan teases, and Kris wishes more than anything that Luhan won’t notice the way his eyes light up at the promise of things to come. “Saw that,” Luhan says, and Kris grins sheepishly. “You just can’t resist me.”
“You’re so arrogant,” Kris protests, looking away from Luhan and willing his cheeks to cool down.
“I’m so right,” Luhan laughs. He gets up on his tiptoes again, and Kris unconsciously puckers his lips out in anticipation of another kiss when Chen interrupts them.
“What are you two doing?” he asks knowingly, and Kris glares at him. But Luhan doesn’t even flinch.
“Tying duizhang’s bowtie,” Luhan shrugged, eyeing Chen quickly before turning back to Kris’s bowtie.
“So that’s what they call it these days,” Chen chuckles before going back to helping Tao with his cuffs. Luhan grins at Kris before pressing a quick kiss to his neck and pulls it off as pretending to squint at the knot.
He pulls back to admire his handiwork, and Kris looks down.
“Luhan, you didn’t tie the bow,” Kris points out, and Luhan shrugs.
“I don’t know how,” he laughs as he walks away, and Kris is left wanting more.
And he’s also left with a bowtie that still needs to be tied.
