I stayed on my knees for almost an hour, then decided I should leave. As I walked back down I hid just before I reached the ground.

"Hyung... Appa... Eomma... goodbye... I may never come out again, so take care..." I closed my eyes and let Youngmin hyung come out

"Eh? Soomi? Did we climb up the mountain already? Hmm..." I ruffled my straight hair and walked back to the rest of the class

"Soomi-ah!!" I smiled and gave her a wave

"He's... inside me at the moment.... He doesn't know about all this Soomi-ah.. he doesn't even know I exist. Eomma will tell him when the time comes, I believe."

Soomi's eyes were of fear, and I could feel it for some reason. I took a few steps to her but she turned away and walked off. I followed her, calling her name but I could tell she was purposely ignoring me. She stopped when she reached a bush away from the other students.

"S...Soomi-ah... waeyo?" I tried to smile

"Y-Youngmin... oppa... I... *sigh* Can we stay away from eachother for a bit? Please?" she spoke quietly with a frozen body.

I could feel she was different, really cold towards me

"Youngmin? Haha Soomi what are you talking about, my name is YoungKwang." I chuckled, thinking she was joking

"No. It's not. It's Youngmin."

"... What are you talking about Soomi-ah?"

"Oppa... you should go home and ask your eomma to explain to you."

"About what.... though?"

".. Where we were just then oppa?"

"Uhh.. with the rest of the class?"

"No, before that."

"... Hiking the mountain?" I spoke, my voice shaking a bit, my memory was going a bit blank

"So... do you remember the words I said to you when we were at the top?" She turned her head so I could see her nose on the side

"Did... we reach the top?" I tried to think back, but nothing came, only darkness.

"Yes. Yes we did oppa. And you don't remember do you? Then... go ask your eomma to explain to you. Until then, let's stay away from eachother for a bit okay? Maybe just a few days.... mianhae." she walked off back to the rest of the class

I turned my head back and watched her go. For some reason it felt like I was experiencing de-ja-vu... but... why??

I looked down at my right hand. It was bleeding with some skin peeled off.

"When... did that happen?" I mumbled to myself, feeling weird

"Something happened on top of that mountain with Soomi, and I'm going to find out." I said, determined. I needed to clear up all the weird things that happen in my life with eomma tomorrow when I get home.

I pushed the door open and rushed inside with my suitcase.

"Eomma!! Eomma eodiya??" I called inside the house, searching for her

"Oh! Youngkwang-ah!! You're back!! Waeyo?" she replied from the laundry

"I... want to talk." I lowered my voice

"Okay, I'll Be There in a sec. Chakahman!!" she sang and I sat down on the couch.

I clenched my hands together, preparing myself for the truth about my life. Why I'll suddenly have memory loss... do I have a disease or something?

She sat down on the couch next to me after washing her hands.

"Eomma... I.... want to ask you, about... me..."

She chuckled

"Mwo? You? What do you mean?" she gave a smile

"I mean... me as in... Youngmin..." her face turned to shock, and I realised Soomi was right about my name

"Who... told you about that?" she asked with a deep voice

'So my actual name really is Youngmin! But eomma wae? Why is my real name Youngmin, but you called me YoungKwang? Did you really want me to be called 'honor'?" I started to bombard her with questions

"... Young... Youngmin-ah... it's a long story, and I guess you're old enough to know. "

I looked into her eyes deeply, but so did she into mine

"You... have a twin brother."

"Mwo?" out of all things, i did not expect that

"What are you talking about? How can I have a twin brother? Where is he now then?" I chuckled nervously

"No, really... He's... in you." she looked to my chest and I looked down to it too. I put one hand on top of it.

"In... me? How?"

"You see... your appa is the god JANUS, and when I was pregnant, my genes passed down to you, and your appa's genes passed down to your twin brother, Kwangmin."

"Kwangmin...??" I mumbled to myself, calling my brother's name for the first time

"You became like the human twin, and your brother the devil twin. He lives within you right now Youngmin-ah. When he comes out, you go in, which is why you have never known about his existance. He has only come out recently. Once when you came home two days ago, and.... I'm guessing... last night." she continued, and my head suddenly had a huge shock understanding

I nodded. "So that's what Soomi meant... so.... eomma, tell me... who's older? Is he my dongsaeng or my hyung?" I was so curious to find out

"You're older Youngmin-ah, Kwangmin is younger by a few minutes, which is why he is within you, otherwise you would be within him."

"Why can't we be in two bodies, why does dongsaeng have to... live 'within' me." I emphasised the 'with', and eomma sighed

"Because Only You had the appropriate genes to exist in this world Youngmin-ah. Kwangmin is not human, only his appearance is. His appearance came from you. He belongs back in your appa's world, there they are like gods and kings. If he stays in our world for too long he will eventually have to go back with his appa if he wants to survive."

"A...ppa? So... appa is... a god?"

She nodded.

"You appa came to visit Kwangmin last night."

My eyes went wide

"Mwo? Eomma how do you know?"

"Because when Kwangmin came home as you two days ago, he mentioned that he wanted to pack for the trip. That was the first time I saw him since birth, so I knew it was time. He was looking forward to meeting his appa again, which was why he came out from you. He knew you weren't looking forward to the trip so he came out and packed for you first."

"But... it was all packed messily, why?"

"Maybe because he started feeling a bit uncomfortable, remember I said he cannot survive long in our world."

"But last night I wasn't me for about 1 hour... the packing was only about 5 minutes." I was so confused, I kept on asking questions

"That's how I know your appa came. Because he must have gave Kwangmin some energy from their world when he arrived. What surprises me is why you are still here." she patted her chin

"What do you mean... still here?" I gave a worried face

"Well... your appa said that he would come and visit when Kwangmin and you were 18, hoping to take Kwangmin back with him. But that meant that you and Kwangmin would swap places. You would live within him, and he would become a god like your appa on their world. But... he didn't go back with him. Hmm... you have a dongsaeng that loves you very much Youngmin-ah... treat him well." she patted my knee

"Kwang.. min... my dongsaeng... did you stay... because of me?" I pressed against my chest as if I could feel him. It was one of the weirdest things to do but it felt so real. It was like he was really there, inside me.

"Hyung!!" I heard a voice that made me shiver

"Waa!" I screeched, and eomma looked at me with fright

"Waeyo? Did he talk to you?"

"MWO? Talk to me? Can he do that?" I freaked out

"Well... if he's inside you... I guess he can." eomma explained, and I nodded, trying to calm down

"Youngmin-ah, stay calm. Try and talk to him." she gave me hope in her reassuring look, and I nodded again then took a deep breath

"K-Kwang...min?" I asked again out loud

After a long silence, I heard a reply. It's as if I was wearing earplugs, though I wasn't at the same time.

"Annyeong... hyung." he spoke, and I could feel that we both smiled at the same time

"Can i ask... why did you stay?"

"There's a lot more to stay for here than to train the rest of my life to become a god. But hyung... you should hurry... go find Soomi. Try and get her back before it's too late." he reminded me, and I told eomma I wanted to leave for a bit

I ran to Soomi's house and knocked on her door.

No one answered. I turned around and ruffled my hair, when I spotted her on the street walking home.

"Soomi-ah!" I walked to her and stopped a few metres away. She lifted her head and took a quick step back.

"Soomi-ah, about ... everything... I know now... the boy you saw yesterday, he's my twin. We can live within eachother, that's why you saw him."

She circled her eyes around and nodded. "Arasseo." she said then kept on walking to her house. When she passed me I grabbed her arm.

"Soomi-ah... can't we be together? Can't we Go Back to how we were?" I asked, sweat down my face

"Stop It Youngmin oppa, you know that's not possible anymore." she tried to shrugg my hand off, but I held on tight

"Just Listen to me for a bit Soomi-ah... I don't see why we can't be together? So I have a twin that lives within me... what's wrong with that? He won't harm you, you know? You don't need to be scared of him." I tried to let her understand that we both loved her

"What's wrong with that? What's normal about that? How do you think people will react when they hear ' Oh yeah I have an evil twin, he's here' and then you show him to them? They'll think we're crazy and faint. Do you want me to live with you like that? I'm sorry Youngmin-ah... I don't think I can handle it." she shrugged one last time and I weakened my grip, letting her go. Letting her go.

"But... dongsaeng doesn't change just whenever, he changes only when he wants to. He does it for the good of everyone Soomi-ah, Kwangmin has a nice heart." I looked down, feeling sad that she thought of him as such a bad person

"Only when he wants to... you just said it for yourself... What if you and me go on a date One Day and the next second the one I'm standing next to is a guy who looks exactly like you except with black gelled-up  hair? What then? We'll have to keep lying to my friends and eventually I'll have no friends left!! Don't you see oppa? If we stay together... our lives will never recieve peace." she looked at me with eyes of a final departure

Her words made my heart break, and Kwangmin's too. He was badly hurt by her, making me feel sad too.

Words ran through my head.

"She will be hurt, hurt because of me, so I need to hold it in"

"I will let you go, for you, I will let you go"

Soomi wasn't a bad girl, she wasn't. I think... she's just really unstable about being in a relationship with someone like us. But... we want her to be happy... Let's her go... I felt Kwangmin nod

I looked at her deep in the eyes.

"Goodbye Soomi. Thankyou for all our wonderful memories together, I'll treasure them forever. As for Kwangmin, I want you to know that he loves you as much as I do, maybe even more. I hope... in the future your views on him will change to become nicer, but until then, take care. You have a great life waiting for you, so go live it well. We know you will do well without us... so... good luck. Hwaiting. Goodbye..." We did a small hwaiting fist together, then I put my hand into my pocket, turned around, and left. I didn't turn back, I was too scared to.

Only when I heard her house door shut, did I feel the immense pain. The sound of the door shutting was like shutting the door on my heart. She may never let me back into it... ever...

I fell to my knees and squeezed the left side of the chest. I knew he was feeling the pain too.

"Kwangmin... mianhae... I couldn't let her suffer for us... I hope you will understand." I spoke with tears down my face

"Hyung... it's ok.... you made the right choice... I would have done the same..." he spoke back, sobbing too.

Though we were both in pain, at least we shared it together. That's the bonus of being a twin.
