Chapter [13] : Puzzle pieces falling into place – part [1]

The meeting with the to-be-a-daughter-in-law of Choi family didn’t end right then, it was extended for few more hours, and both Yesung and Kangin –and for some reason- felt that they should stay home until this unexpected new guest leaves so they can shower the Choi parents with question regarding the sudden announcement.

SiHan, YeSung and Kangin was sitting in the living room with the other three –Choi parents and Victoria- SiHan wasn’t really into this, he was mentally occupied with so many questions regarding YeSung’s abnormal attitude before and mostly after this girl stepped in their house.

‘’So u met our Siwon before? What do u think of him? Handsomer than Won Bin, isn’t he?’’ Choi father asked with a laugh causing Victoria to nod before blushing.

‘’Siwon-ssi is such a gentleman, he is really loved by our staff members.. although am recently employed but I feel like home, the whole work environment is very warm and inspiring.’’ Said Victoria shyly.

Choi mother grinned.

‘’that brat’s luck is always good… look at how beautiful his future wife is going to be.’’

And right then YeSung couldn’t bear with the situation anymore, he stood up, bowed to the rest and walked out of the room, Kangin immediately follows him.

SiHan frowned.

What the HELL is going on?

YeSung was walking quickly toward the stairs to get back to his room before Kangin held his arm, turning him around.

‘’Kangin plz….’’

‘’No Yesung.. listen.. this is silly… we both know that there is no way Siwon is gonna approve this.. I guarantee you he has no clue of what my parents are planning, there is no way he’ll go with this, even if it’s not for you, Siwon will never put up with stupid thing like arranged marriage.. plz don’t make It harder on him.. if this annoys you still, then talk to him.. u guys should really stop getting all worked up and running away whenever such a situation show up, u really do have communication problems…’’

Kangin words had a magical effect as Yesung suddenly felt his chest so light, he smiled briefly to Kangin before nodding… just right then SiHan showed up, walking closer to their side.

‘’what are you guys-….’’ His phone started ringing interrupting him, Kangin and YeSung exchanged looks before they both left leaving behind an opened-moth SiHan.

‘’don’t you dare to hang up on me this time, I swear to God am gonna turn ur life into a living hell if you don’t show up on the place and time am gonna text u after we end this call SiHan.. this game had to come to an end.. its for ur own good, if u don’t want a scandal that will destruct ur family’s reputation then u better do as told… deal?’’ and SiHan could swear he can feel MinJung smirking on the other end of the line.

Siwon POV

I had so many documents to go through today, an early meeting and an arrangement for a conference that our company going to hold earlier next week, all kind of tasks that definitely require full concentration… well sadly, I couldn’t afford that.. my mind was still busy thinking of SiHan hyung’s sudden wedding announcement.. I know for sure that YeSung has no idea about it, I mean how could he know.. although I kept throwing him with harsh comments back in time coz i was blind with jealousy, but look at them, they barely talk, YeSung will spend most of the time after work either with MaRi or Kangin –lately- I came to realize that my jealousy was baseless, SiHan hyung sudden announcement was out of rush or maybe desire to grab YeSung’s attention once again.. at a tiny corner of my heart I couldn’t help but feel bad for him, I mean he is my brother after all, he kinda change though, the tenderness I used to sense on his voice, gestures, even his witty teasing comments aren’t there anymore, is it coz he is in recovery period? Well, why not? Falling into coma after a terrible accident do affect one’s attitude somehow, right? I was deeply drawn in my trail of thoughts when I felt someone standing right by my side.

‘’Can Mr.Busy-all-the-time accept my humble invitation to have lunch together?’’

i smiled before nodding to his father.

End of POV

 ‘’plz bring us some steak with some tropical drinks and don’t forget the salad.’’ Choi father ordered once he and Siwon settled in a table of that fancy restaurant.

Siwon was smiling all along, his father noticed his bright face and felt at ease, with Siown being in such a light mood, this eases his task on bringing the topic of marriage into discussion.

‘’so Siwon-ah tell me.. are u 100% adapted now with ur life here in Korea?’’ Choi father initiated the conversation.

Siwon nodded.

‘’it’s not like I don’t miss the states each in a while but yeah I guess am growing passionate for Seoul, it’s such a wonderful city..’’

‘’with lots of wonderful women too…’’ Choi father throw the first bomb.

Siwon chuckled.

‘’Dad is missing the teen ages? Why? Is there any pretty Noona around that captured ur attention?’’

‘’there is one but sadly HER attention is totally stolen by you my handsome son..’’

Siwon eyebrows met in confusion.

His father smiled before holding one of his son’s hands.

‘’I think it’s the time Siwon.. the time u should think of settling down, getting married and making a family….’’

Siwon gasped.

‘’Dad what are u talking about? Who told u that I want to get married?’’

Choi father frowned.

‘’why would I need someone to tell me that, ur age is perfect for marriage…’’

‘’Dad am just 22, my other hyungs passed their 30s and none of them thought of marriage, how could I do so?’’

‘’SiHan is getting married in no time, everything is ready for him and YeSung.. even their future house…’’

‘’Dad….’’

‘’Siwon listen, ur age maybe is… just a little bit young, but stability is required in ur age, plus.. the girl am recommending is someone am sure u will never be able to meet if ur given a chance to look for one…’’

Siwon eyes widened.

‘’u even arranged this with her? Dad ur too much…..’’ Siwon stood up, anger showing all over his face.

Choi father tried to hold him back but Siwon was so stubborn to do so, they carried the conversation to the Choi family house, and Choi father insisted that both Kangin and SiHan should be present.

‘’Do u guys think he is making any sense?’’ Choi father asked, his tone is full of anger.

Kangin looked at Siwon before focusing back on his father.

‘’Dad.. marriage isn’t an issue to introduce and carry out in such a rushed way, Siwon has all the right to protest, not coz the girl isn’t appropriate or that marriage is an avoidable topic, No.. but coz he is still too young for this, he can meet a better girl, someone he will fight for to keep by his side forever if needed…’’

Siwon couldn’t help but feels like hugging Kangin at the spot.

Choi father remained silent for a minute before turning his attention to SiHan who was apparently spacing out.

‘’what about u SiHan.. do u think this marriage proposal is a waste of time to’’

I have everything, I saved them all, the texts, the gifts, even our phone calls were recorded..

SiHan raised his head to look at his father.

You have no idea to what extent I can destroy u all, shooting ur beloved brother is a clear example.. I was pissed that he made it through back then, but am glad now.. this can clearly show u what kinda person I am and what am capable of..

He then looked at Siwon.

YeSung… ur beloved fiancé, my EX-BOYFRIEND.. do u think he will still accept to stay by ur side If I reveal what I have in store?

And gave another glance to Kangin.

You think Kangin will forgive u if he finds out that u were the reason I broke up with him? Am sure u still remember the severe depression he had been through when we broke apart.. u think he will still have ur back?

He sighed before stating.

‘’there is nothing I can say, if u wanna make him marry her then go for it Dad, if not then leave him alone….’’

‘’Hyung…..’’ Siwon was startled by SiHan comment.

SiHan ignored the younger and stood up.

‘’this isn’t leading anywhere….’’ He then looked at Siwon. ‘’I saw the girl, she is pretty and nice.. I don’t think u will manage to meet someone like her by ur own….’’ And he was about to leave when Siwon walked to his side and held his arm, turning him around.

‘’Hyung.. r u looking down at me now?’’ Siwon asked with a straight face.

SiHan slapped Siwon’s hand away.

‘’am not in the mood for ur childish act Siwon.. leave me alone….’’ SiHan expression was so cold and dark.

Siwon held him once again.

‘’WHAT THE….’’

‘’ur not my hyung.. u could be anyone BUT SiHan hyung.. since when u turn ur back on me? Looking down at me.. since when u broke ur promises of having my back no matter what? What got into u? are u really YOU?’’ Siwon asked with no intention of receiving answers as he left the room leaving the other three in a tensed atmosphere.

Kangin tapped his brother’s arm before bowing to his father and leaving the room.

‘’I think I will just leave it there..’’ Choi father said in a deep tone before leaving the room.

SiHan looked at the door after everyone left.

make sure u make ur goodbyes to Your beloved family.. if u decide to turn ur back on me and our future child.. make the goodbyes quick and light.. no need to leave them grieving with sorrowing memories..

later that night

Yesung’s day was as emotionally consuming as the look-alike brothers, the thoughts of his current life.. SiHan’s wedding ceremony announcement,  Choi parents plans for Siwon marriage.. they were occupying his mind.. when the family sat around for dinner, he tried to distract himself by placing MaRi in his lap and feeding her.

‘’so.. r u ready for the marathon all over again.. the wedding preparation is very time consuming, u should do this nicely and fast…’’ Choi father stated, looking at SiHan.

Siwon almost chocked.

Kangin observed them all.

‘’But Dad, SiHan us still recovering, the wedding can wait, am sure neither one of them want to pull of a new life together when one party isn’t healthy enough for that…’’

SiHan was quiet, he looked at YeSung who was listening attentively but pretending not to.

Choi father remains silent for a minute before looking at his wife.

‘’I think what Kangin said is true honey...’’

Siwon then excused himself, he walked back to his room and decided to text YeSung..

YeSung finished his dinner and carried half-asleep MaRi to her room, it took her 10 minutes to fall into a deep sleep.

YeSung lay beside her before he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket.

YeSung sighed reading Siwon 2^nd message. He was mad at the younger for no particular reason, although Kangin words eases his concerns earlier but he couldn’t help but to feel heaviness on his chest. He turned off the lights on MaRi’s room before walking back to his and SiHan’s room.

He walked in, SiHan was taking a shower, he sat on the bed thinking whether or not to go and talk to Siwon, what if SiHan goes to look for him once again, it will be awkward if he saw them together in Siwon’s room once again, but deep in his heart he knew he will never enjoy a good night sleep if he don’t speak to Siwon about this, Yesung thoughts were interrupted as SiHan walked out of the bathroom, he was wearing a towel around his waist and drying his hair with another small one, he smiled to YeSung before seating himself beside him on their shared bed.

‘’did MaRi sleep already?’’ SiHan asked, placing the small towel on the small table beside their bed.

YeSung nodded.

‘’yes she did.. I wish I could have a goodnight sleep too..’’ and he was about to stand up when SiHan held his arm.

‘’YeSung plz sit.. I have something to tell u…’’ SiHan said in a soft tone.

YeSung turned to the other’s side, facing him.

SiHan held both YeSung hands.

‘’I know that there is along going on in our life right now.. I just.. I thought that we haven’t talked about anything yet.. people out there are pushing us to rush our wedding ceremony, totally clueless that we haven’t talked at all about what happened and what should happen next?’’ SiHan stopped for a minute before moving one hand to caress YeSung’s cheek.

‘’I missed YeSung.. I missed u so much…’’ and YeSung didn’t react at all, he was looking straight into SiHan’s eyes with a straight face.

‘’I know we had some issues before the accident….’’

‘’you had issues SiHan not me, plz stop enforcing that ‘’WE’’ in every single sentence..’’ YeSung now slapped SiHan’s hand away and was about to stand up once again when SiHan pulled him down and force him to lay underneath him in their bed.

‘’SiHan what the hell u think ur doing?’’

‘’YeSung plz.. I know we have a lot to work out..’’ SiHan held YeSung’s arms above the smaller man’s head, trapping him. ‘’and I also know ur still trying to adapt with the new situation.. for now.. plz forget about what happened before the accident and let’s start afresh… I love u YeSung…’’ and he leaned down before he laid his lips on the other.

YeSung struggled trying to get rid of the elder’s grip but SiHan was stronger than him, the towel around SiHan’s waist fell on the fall, leaving his with a lot of exposed skin which made YeSung froze in place, was SiHan really going to forcefully make love to him.

SiHan broke the kiss and started ing YeSung’s shirt while drawing lines of kissed and bites on the smaller man’s neck.

‘’SIHAN STOP THIS… STOP IT NOW….’’ YeSung yelled at the other who tried to shut him up with another kiss but YeSung was fast this time and gathered his strength before kicking SiHan in between his legs causing this later to lose his balance and fall on his side, YeSung couldn’t even look at him.. he faced  him with his back before stating.

‘’if u think that I would disregard all the pain u made me suffer from all along by a forced make out then ur mistaken, I can’t believe ur the same SiHan I knew, I can’t recognize u anymore SiHan.. I can’t believe I once fell in love with u… I can’t believe it…’’ and he walked out of the room leaving the other with all kinds of mixed emotions.

I love u YeSung.. what shall I do for u to believe me…

Damn u MinJung.. u ruined my entire life..

It was around mid-night when YeSung walked back to MaRi’s room where he left with no other option but to spend the night there… he didn’t know why he started crying all of a sudden, what happened earlier with SiHan scared him, and broke him once again from the inside.. SiHan forced kissed were real.. he knew that even when he was fighting him, his inside was cracking.. SiHan do love him, there was no doubt.. but.. the way he is expressed it was wrong.. they had a lot to talk about, a lot to speak of.. those weren’t things they could postpone and meanwhile enjoying some physical intimacy.. he was convinced now.. no more room for doubt.. SiHan was hiding something from him, the reason behind his change in attitude.. the period of coldness before the accident.. the huge gap he feels between the two of them that isn’t only created because of the fact that YeSung is no longer in love with SiHan.. there was a missing link… and…. There was a knock on his door..

YeSung sat on his bed, he checked on his sleeping sis..

Thanks God the knocking didn’t wake her up..

YeSung tears dried on his cheeks, as he walked toward the door.

‘’Siwon??????’’ YeSung eyes widened seeing the younger one standing on his sister’s room’s door.

Siwon didn’t reply, he pulled YeSung’s hand before slowly closing the door.

‘’WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU-….’’

‘’shhhhhhhhhh.. u will wake everyone up.. keep quiet…’’ Siwon said, whispering before he dragged YeSung to his room.

Siwon closed the door behind them before turning to face the elder.

‘’what took u so long? U were planning to ignore my request for meeting up, weren’t you?’’ and he crossed his arms.

YeSung’s eyes narrowed as he stared at the younger.

‘’u think am ur servant.. sitting there waiting for ur commands.. if u have something to say just say it Siwon am not in a good mood for arguments…’’

Siwon walked closer.

‘’what’s wrong with you?’’

‘’what is it that u drag me all the way here at night.. just spill it out…’’

Siwon held YeSung’s shoulders.

‘’Siwon plz….’’ And he took off Siwon’s hands.

‘’damn YeSung… what’s wrong with you?? What the…..’’ and his gaze landed on YeSung’s neck. He gasped.

YeSung was still annoyed, but he noticed the was Siwon was looking at his neck… he looked at the same area Siwon was staring at before covering it with his hand.

‘’wha-…. What is that?’’ Siwon asked, stuttering.

YeSung walked and sat on Siwon’s bed.

‘’mosquitos…. R u planning to speak or shall I go back to my room?’’

Siwon smirked.

‘’what a passionate mosquito..’’ he lost his cool. ‘’ DAMN IT YESUNG.. THAT’S A DAMN HICKRY.. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TAKING ME FOR.. I WAS WAITING FOR YOU HERE WHILE U WAS BUSY MAKING LOVE WITH MY HYUNG?’’

YeSung closed his eyes and sighed deeply.

‘’this is a waste of time, am not gonna explain myself over and over.. u better sleep Siwon…’’ YeSung said before standing, he walked to the door side but was blocked by Siwon.

‘’WHY? U CAN’T KEEP HIM WAITING.. U DON’T WANNA BE LATE FOR ANOTHER ROUND OF-….’’ And Siwon’s sentence was cute off as YeSung slapped him.

Siwon was startled and YeSung broke into tears.

‘’DAMN IT SIWON.. STOP ACTING SO SMART AND USE UR BRAIN FOR ONCE.. DO U EVEN KNOW WHAT KIND OF AM GOING THROUG.. AM ENGAGED TO A MAN WHO HAPPEN TO BE YOUR BROTHER.. I AM FALLING SHORT TO SATISFY HIS NEEDS COZ THE ONLY THINK I THINK ABOUT IS YOU.. YOUR PARENTS WERE PLANNING FOR YOUR WEDDING AND U DIDN’T BOTHER TO TELL ME, AND DON’T TELL ME U DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT IT, BY KNOW EVERYNE ALREADY KNOWS.. AM FIGHTING MY INSECURITIES ALONE WHERE U ARE HERE POINTING AT ME AS IF I COMMITED A CRIME.. U WANTED TO KNOW THE SOURCE OF THIS MARK IN MY NECK? ITS SIHAN.. UR HYUNG WANTED TO FORCEFULLY MAKE LOVE TO ME BUT I FIGHT IT.. U KNOW WHY? COZ I LOVE YOU, YOU IDIOT OF MAN.. AM YOURS AND NOBODY ELSE’S.. ‘’ by then YeSung fell into his knees, breath is heavy.. tears are squeezed.. tears falling into the ground…

That night, Siwon didn’t ask for more explanation, all he did was patting YeSung’s shoulder, circling his back in a way to calm him down, he didn’t know how long it has been as he felt YeSung sleeping in his embrace, he carried the smaller man to his bed and laid beside him, that night… he really needed to feel YeSung’s warmth.. he placed the elder’s head in his chest, directly above his heart, he wanted YeSung to know that no matter how much they fight, deep inside they were insanely in love, and that the hardship the have to get through won’t be bearable if they weren’t there for one another.. Siwon fought the sleep, he wanted to held YeSung and feel their connection for as long as he could, coz he knew.. that when the sun rises, he will no longer be there.. he will be gone.. to another man’s side..

"Siwon...stop moving...".

 Siwon look down and see YeSung sleeping in his chest, he looked around the room, the sun rises already… and he failed to fight the sleep… he realizes that YeSung arms were placed around his waist and he can't help but smile.

He then allowed his back to relax and warped his arms around YeSung making him open his small eyes and look at him with a sleepy face. "Sorry...didn't meant to wake you up." Siwon whisper and caress YeSung’s face. YeSung smiled like a little child and gets a little closer to Siwon.

Is he no longer mad at me?

YeSung brushes his nose to Siwon’s causing the younger to smile a little more. "You didn't...you were just moving a little too much..." YeSung said with a sleepy voice and Siwon stay there looking to his cute face.

‘’am sorry….’’ Siwon said, breathing into YeSung’s hair.

YeSung then opened his eyes, staring at whatever was on his sight.

‘’its okay.. I was so harsh last night too..’’ he then raised his head and looked at Siwon in the eye.

‘’did u drug me so that I end up sleeping in ur room?’’ YeSung said playfully.

Siwon smiled before rolling around on top of the other.

‘’yeah right.. its u who make up excuses to sneak into my room.. just admit it already…’’ and he leaned closer.

YeSung smiled before circling the younger’s neck.

‘’am not.. but I’ll start to.. make sure when I do so the view that will welcome me here is worth the risk…’’ and he winked to the younger before pulling him into a kiss.

Siwon was startled and before he could kiss the elder’s back, his phone started ringing.

He looked at the phone’s direction and then to YeSung, he decided to ignore the call and continue what YeSung just started when YeSung’s phone now started ringing.. YeSung pushed Siwon away gently before sitting on the bed, Siwon was looking at him in irritation for his interrupted early morning make out session… YeSung smiled a bit before picking up the call…

‘’YeSung-ssi… plz… come meet me in my room.. and make sure to stop by Siwon’s room and bring him along….’’

It was Kangin, YeSung felt uneasy.. Kangin’s voice was trembling..

30 minutes later in Kangin’s room

Kangin tried to stay calm when both YeSung and Siwon were staring at each other, at him and at the box in front of them…

‘’there are…..’’ and YeSung pointed at the X-ray pictures in front of him…

Siwon looked at Kangin in shock.

‘’how did u get this?’’

Kangin sighed.

‘’I received it as a delivery today.. it’s not just this… there is also a letter.. and it says that it’s for YeSung.. I didn’t open that.. this is scary enough for me… I mean why would someone send X-ray pictures on an embryo to others.. the more confusing part is this….’’ And he pulled a small piece of paper from his pocket. ‘’it was attached to the pictures.. it says ‘’get ready to welcome a new Choi family member. Tell SiHan the mother of the baby says Hi’’ ……….’’

Siwon eyes widened while YeSung as a reflex immediately opened the envelop that was in the bottom of the box… both Siwon and Kangin looked at him in impatience.. YeSung facial expression was unreadable.. it was pale and red at once.. he slowly turned to look at Siwon and Kangin’s side..

Siwon walked closer to him and held him close…

‘’this baby….’’ Yesung murmured looking at the blankness of the wall behind Kangin who was standing in front of him.. ‘’its SiHan’s… MinJung is… she is carrying SiHan’s baby..’’

I know I know.. it took me decades to update this story and am not that happy with the update =.= being away from writing for a while result in a poor writing when u get back to it.. but plz keep supporting this and bear with this story for 4-5 more chapters.. there will be more unexpected events to happen in the next few chapters with lots of angst as there is no way I can avoid that ;~;.. sorry for keeping u waiting.. and as usual sorry for any typos/grammatical mistakes..
