You couldn't help but smile. He really is a dork. You figured he must have gotten himself a new phone. What should you reply?

You decided to bake some cookies for Tao to thank him for the sweet surprise yesterday. You made your famous chocolate pecan cookies and decorated them with cute frostings. As soon as you were done packing it into cute little boxes, your phone beeped.

"Let's go watch a movie? My treat. I'll pick you up at 4."

You glanced at the clock. 3.30pm. Oh . You put on your usual oversized hoodies and threw in a jeans. As soon as you put on your socks, you heard the front door open. Yup, both of you have keys to each other's houses.

"Yo angel, yo, yo, yo, a-n-g-e-l"

Dork.

You stuck your head out of the room and saw Tao struggling with his shoes. You giggled at the sight. skipped to wear he is and poked his left arm.

"Like this," You said as you untangle his shoelaces for him.

"What would I do without you?"

You rolled your eyes and went into your room to get your purse and the cookies.

"Is that gucci?" He asked, eyes fixed on your purse. Goddamn this guy. Tao's love for gucci is inevitable. Everyone knew about it. His parents and your parents before well, they were..... gone.

You smiled and gave a little nod, "Let's go."

After the movie, both of you went to the park. It felt like ages since you've been there. It was the park you grew up with. Both of you could just sit and talk and reminisce about the past. Or go visit the oldest tree where you and Tao had carved your initials. Or dug your old toys you guys used to bury when you were younger. Or..... Well, there's just so much.

We sat at the usual bench and you felt him moved closer to you. Tao leaned back to the birds sing in the air. You watched him discreetly. and you felt the pits of your stomach tingling with desire.

Is this really love?

Then without warning, he turned and stared as well. We held gazes for about ten seconds before you pulled away. You could feel your heart racing terribly. This isn't like the blinking game you used to play when the both of you were younger, this is real!

He stood up and signalled to me to stand up. I shot him a curious look. He smirked and you saw his palm curling into a fist. If he wants a fight, then a fight he is gonna get. You laughed and got up lazily before taking a few steps back. Is he being serious? I wriggled my fist and plunged forward. Like a ninja, he caught my hand and pulled me into a hug.

What?

Dugeun. Dugeun. Dugeun. You heard your phone beep and you fumbled in your pocket awkwardly to get your phone.

"I love you."

Is my mind playing tricks on me? Oh my god. How did he....? Nevermind.

You let out a tiny gasp. Is this even real? How could you not know he was feeling the same way? It felt like you were standing on top of the world. You were bursting with joy but because you were too surprised, you just stood rooted to the ground. He tightened his grip around you and whispered in your ear.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

You couldn't believe your ears. Is he being serious? Because if he said it only in the heat of the moment, you would seriously murder him there and then. But then he tightened his grip around you. And just like that, all your doubts and fears vanished with the wind. You had thought that it was impossible. That the both of you together was impossible. He was everything you knew. The only boy you ever thought of spending the rest of your life with was him. You could feel your tears forming two rivers under your eyes.

"Say something." He softly whispered into your ear. You could sense fear in his voice and you realised you have not said anything to assure that you were his. You sniffled back a tear that threatened to fall and pulled back. Now eye to eye, you could see the burning passion in his eyes. How could you not have known that all this time, he had offered you love? Your hands swiftly made way to his waist and you finally hugged him back. You felt his body relax against yours as you lay your head against his chest. It felt like forever since any of you moved and you wished you could stay like this forever. He pulled away gently and you almost winced at the loss of body contact. Looking straight into your eyes, he moved slowly and carefully, as if to ask for permission before leaning to kiss you. Hard. 

Damn. If this is what it's like to kiss Huang Zi Tao, I'd do it every second every day. 

He tried holding back. Because if he didn't, he felt like he could devour you completely. You tried to hide what he was doing to you. 

You couldn't.

You wrapped your arms around him and moved your head slightly, allowing better access. You could feel him smiling victoriously into the kiss and you mentally slapped him. 

Then without warning, you cold liquid dripping on your face, hands and everywhere else. Both of you pulled back as he grabbed your hand and hurriedly ran into a nearby shelter. It was raining heavily. You watched as he took off his jacket and gently wrapped it around you. You rubbed your hands together and blew on them to keep them warm.

"Are you still cold?"

"Not anymore."

"Since...... when?"

"What?"

"You know.." You could feel your face heating up. Ugh, how are you supposed to speak when he is looking at you like that? You pouted and sat cross-legged when he pretended to not understand what you were on about. 

"Ah. Don't do that. It makes me want to..." 

"What?"

"Do this." He kissed you, gently this time and you felt a warm and fuzzy feeling in the pits of your stomach.

Ah, I could totally get used to this.

"Oppa?"

"Hmm?"

"I love you too,"

"COCKROACH!!!!"

You screamed hysterically and ran away, almost wet by the rain in the process. He immediately tried to squash the little thing, mumbling inchoherently.

It got away.

You burst out in fits of laughter. You couldn't help but think that the cockroach had gotten into the way. You noticed and realised that the rain had stopped by then.

"Nothing... can creep you out if I do this." 

It was strange how you only just realised you were only inches away from him. You tried to move backwards but he caught you and carried you bridal style. You were surprised but you snuggled into his chest anyway. Mmm, his scent. He decided to walk back to your house which isn't very far from where the both of you were.

"Are you always this corny?"

"Only for you."

"Hey Tao?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"Hyerin?... Tao?"

Damn er. Who the hell...
