It was the following day at lunch and as usual Minji and l were stuck in our corner feasting and gossiping about the ongoing rumors or breaking stories in school.Well not really gossiping but rather discussing the whole matter and giving our opinions on it.

"Aww poor thing no wonder her face was all puffed up and eyes red, l thought she was just being her bratty self."l said.

"Well sources say he embarassed in front of the school quad where most people were after school, so yeah, she's bound to be hurt."Minji explained.

"Urgh guys, they don't they?One minute they're all lovey dovey and the next they're spitting in your face"l managed to say.

"Is that really what you think , that all guys ?"his questioning voice rang in my ears.*Darn it*

I looked up to see Chanyeol oppa holding his tray as he sat opposite me.I choked at loss for words feeling rather embarassed.*What would he think of me now?*

He leaned over the table and patted my back just as he had done the day before.When l stopped choking he pushed his bottle of water in front of me and urged l drink it.Flashed, l avoided his gaze and gulped down the water as fast as l could.

"Aigoo, l thought l told you to take it slow,the food won't run away will it?I'm beginning to think you're doing this on purpose so l could just pat your back and you could steal my water"he winked grinning like no other.

"Aniyo, that's not the case.It's just that you suddenly spoke when l didn't expect you to be there so it kinda creeped me out that's all"I tried explaining as l covered my already red face with my hands.

"Calling me a creeper then, are you?"he slightly frowned with a cute pout.*Can he get any cuter than this seriously?*

We all cracked up before he brought it up again."First you say l and now you call me a creeper, it's all good man, it's all good"he comforted himself.

"Hey,l never said you !" "Well then what was that about 'guys ,they get all lovey dovey and the next thing they spit in your face' you were talking about"he asked.

"It was just a general term l was using in referance to the Kijoon-Saeha story, which is that case  is very true by the way."

"So you don't think l ?"he asked.

"Believe me you, she would never say that about you"Minji pitched in with a mischievious twinkle in her eyes, the one l knew so well.For a moment there l had forgotten she was there already as she had gotten so quiet.But now that she had spoken she should have just remained invisible.

Now Chanyeol oppa was going to think of me as some obsessed freak which l wouldn't exactly deny but then again l wasn't an obsessed freak.My obsession was just that of a mere student who had a strong liking to her friend of the opposite , no harm intented.Yes,that's how it was.

"What do you mean by that?"Chanyeol oppa asked her.

"Yeah Minji, what exactly do you mean by that"I empasised each and every bit of my words.By that l knew she already knew what l was trying to tell her,'You better not or l will skin you alive' my eyes read.She looked back at me still with wearing that mischievious smirk on her face,'Try me'.

"Nothing, l was just saying.I mean you guys are friends right?And friends wouldn't say that to each other, would they?"she smiled.

"Yeah, l should have known better.Our Soojin-ah here would never say that to me."He ruffled my hair affectionately or so l thought.

We talked some more about different things.Chanyeol oppa brought up some random topics that even l would never think of thinking to think.

"Hey guys, have you ever thought of what a vegetable thinks about?"he asked out of the blue.His face quite serious and it at all did not match what he had asked.

"Eh"Minji and l questioned at the same time."I mean look at that broccolli, in my plate.Just laying there lifeless like a cabbage.I wonder what it's thinking but then again it's dead.Do you think it felt any pain like we humans do unless it died in its sleep then it probably didn't.Poor thing..."he went on about the poor broccoli lifeless on his plate.Just like that, my randomness title had been taken.Had l passed on the sickness or was it just that it was how it was, l do not know at all.

"Chanyeol, are you alright?"Minji worriedly asked in her poshy voice."Yeah, why?he asked as if what he had said was something completely normal when it was so out of the blue pink.

Before Minji could tell him about the whole brocolli thingy, he spoke,"Oh you mean about the brocolli, it's just one of the many things l wonder about and question myself but never getting any answers.Don't worry about it."he finished off with his not-so-signature-breathtaking-hypnotising-smile.

Just then the bell signalling the end of lunch rang.We stood up with our empty trays and headed out of the cafeteria for the next lesson.

"I just noticed something, the rest of the guys weren't there at lunch."I began."Oh, so now you notice"Kai sarcastically said after appearing from heaven knows where with the rest of the guys.

"Why,should l have noticed before?"l questionly responded to him.

"Of course you wouldn't notice, after all you had Chanyeol hyung all to yourself.I bet you were wishing Minji would just go away,weren't you?"he smirked.That was so typical of him.Always embarassing me when it wasn't even necessary.

I looked at Chanyeol oppa who just blinked innocently as if he hadn't heard anything.*Wasn't he gonna say anything or at least make a comment?*In fact he always did that,when Kai would start talking non-stop about him and l, he wouldn't say anything.Not that l really minded by the way since when he would talk he probably would tell me off instead but l couldn't help but worry.

"Urgh, just get lost Kai!Dissapear to where you came from!"l retorted.But then again he wasn't Kai for nothing, he would always find something to say in return just to irk the living hell out of me.

"Nah, don't wanna give you the benefit of the doubt do we?Besides what fun would that be?"he proudly smugged.

"Anywho Soojin-ah, we were at the Music Room just practicing"Suho intervened.*I am always thankful to him for being so reasonable and so mature enough.*

"Oh then oppa weren't you supposed to be there as well?"l turned to Chanyeol oppa."He was but how could he when you bottled him up?"

"Oh shut it you!"that should shut him up for a bit, but then again he was Kai."Make me"he stuck his nose high up in the air.

"He ditched,said he wanted to spend time with you"Baekhyun spoke up.I looked over at Chanyeol oppa who just smiled and shrugged"Told you l'd rather spend time with you.Besided l'll catch up.It's not much that l'll have missed that l can't catch up on.Don't you worry about me."

"But then you're all supposed to practice together as a band so you listen to each other and not make any mistakes?"l couldn't help but feel bad although he would tell me not to worry about it all the time.

"Alright then, we'll practice together from now on and l won't ditch.Happy now?"he patted my head as l only nodded.I couldn't trust myself well enough to speak without squealing at that moment.

"Urgh urgh urgh"there was Kai making gagging noises.I was about to kick his foot when some teacher on duty shouted from the end of the corridor."Get to your lessons now, will yah"

"Can't touch this"Kai slid his hands on his body as to say you can't catch me as he went his way.*Darn you Kai*

With that we all went our ways as l dreaded for another neverending Science lesson with Mr Kwon.
