Luhan couldn’t help but notice Nami pouting once in a while like she has a problem or something.

“Hey Nami, are you okay? Do you have something that’s bothering you?” Luhan asks across the table. They were in a cupcake shop.

Nami picked her peppermint pink cupcake and off some of the thick icing before answering him. “Hmm...” she mumbled, wiping her lips clean and not making eye contact with Luhan. This got him confused. Why were girls so complex?

Their ‘date’ ended early and Luhan offered to walk her home. Nami kept a safe distance. A safe distance meant 15 inches away from him. Luhan couldn’t take it any longer and so he stopped. Nami was surprised too when he grabbed both of her shoulders, forcing her to face him.

They were in a deserted playground in the middle of village houses.

“Okay Nami. I know something’s wrong, but I don’t know what.” then he took a deep breath. “Won’t you tell me?” his tone got lighter as he let go of her shoulders.

Nami looked up and took a sit on one of the swings. Luhan took the other.

“So there’s this girl I’ve read about,”

“From Rainy’s? I remember you usually like reading about those genres. Sometimes, I even see you daydreaming and-“ Nami glared at him for disturbing.

“Oh sorry,” he smiled apologetically. But Nami couldn’t help but blush at what he said. So he was watching me the whole time?

“she likes a guy. The guy was very good looking and girls like him a lot, but he only has eyes on one girl,”

“so he likes her back,” Luhan concluded, looking into Nami’s eyes. I wish he did.

“No.” Nami shook her head. Luhan’s brows furrowed. “He likes someone else. But he still keeps on being kind and all that to the other girl. You know like the kindness that could mean something else,” Nami massaged her hands.

“Then?”

“And that was it. I never finished the story because the book went missing when I came back for it.”

“What’s the title? Maybe I could look for it,” Luhan suggested help.

“I forgot,” Nami turned her face away as she scowled. Luhan had absolutely no clue.

“In your view, is the story relatable?” he asked.

Nami pushed the swing back and the force allowed her to swing.

“Yeah,”

“Do you understand how the girl feels?”

“Absolutely,”

“Is it about us?”

“Yeah,”

Nami was thrown to the ground when she realized what she just blurted out.
