Author’s POV

Sunlight started to stream into the room as a sign of a new day, the same routine. Hani slowly opened her eyes, and pushing herself off the bed when she purposely just rolled off it with a BAM. Talk about a rude awakening. Just like any weekday, she attends high school with the rest of the kids her age. Every morning would be a bummer, but hey, we all need education for a future.

As she finished getting ready for school, she lazily made her way down the stairs to find her brother waiting for her to devour her breakfast before driving her to school.

“Morning, Sunshine”, Luhan chirped just like any other morning when Hani makes an appearance. Luhan was always a morning person, considering both their parents are working overseas and travelling to and fro, he made it a habit to be an “umma” figure towards Hani, which she couldn’t ask for any better.

“Morning, ohh~ppaa~..” she said with a big yawn. “ I made you bacon and eggs today, keeping it simple cuz I know you got a test today, am I right?” he said, while he started washing up after his own meal.

“Hm-hmm, you know me well, but can I just pack it for lunch later on? I don’t want to end up going to the toilet during the test”. “Arraso, I’ll go pack it now,” Luhan said with a dash and a second later, all ready to go.

Luhan dropped Hani at the gates before speeding off to college for his morning classes, and that’s where Hani becomes more of silent, throughout the whole day.
