JUNG SO MIN POV

He grabbed my arm and dragged me up the stairs.

Upon entering there was a queen sized bed. I sat on it.

“Wahh. It’s so soft” I said as I lay down on it.

“I’m going to take a shower, you just sit there and don’t touch anything” he warned.

“arasso” I said as I sat there in complete silence.

The only thing that could be heard was the water running and my soft breathing.

I noticed a frame, it was facing down. I carefully picked it up, turning it over.

There was a girl and a boy, the boy was giving the girl a kiss on the cheek. They looked about 10 years old.

“This must be hyun joong”I muttered.

“I wonder who this girl is” I said softly.

“She seems awfully familiar” I said.

I placed it back onto the bedside table.

I picked up a book that had fallen to the floor. I opened it, there were lots of pictures in it, I flicked through it, admiring all the cute pictures. On one of the pictures there were little letters on the corner. I squinted as I tried to make out the letters.

“HJ and SJ” I muttered.

Before I could think of what it meant, someone scared me again.

“Didn’t I tell you not to touch anything” kim hyun joong said out of no-where.

I dropped the album to the floor as I turned to look at him.

“YAH, you scared me” I screamed.

“again” I said smiling.

I looked at him, noticing he was shirt-less, I immediately turned around.

“Well then, you should’ve listened to me then” he said as he bent down and picked up the fallen album. He placed it neatly into the shelf.

“Do you have a little sister or something?” I said as I turned to look at him.

“Aniyo” he said as he sat down next to me.

“Then why is there a room full of hello kitty stuff then” I asked curiously.

“None of your business” he said as he stared at me blankly.

“I want to know” I said as I looked at him, waiting for his answer.

“It was yours” kim hyun joong muttered.

“What?” I said not hearing it clearly.

“Nothing” kim hyun joong said.

“How are the love birds going” unni stormed into the room.

“aah” I screamed, not aware that would happen.

“I’m sorry honey” unni said as she sat in between us.

“omma, what are you doing here” kim hyun joong asked.

“To talk about your future” unni said as she smiled uncontrollably.

“What future” I asked confused.

“marriage” she said as gave me a hug.

“when?” hyun joong asked.

“in a months time” unni said happily.

“what, why so soon?” I asked.

“I still have to go high school, then there’s university…” I screamed.

“sshh, you can still do all those things as well” unni said.

“you guys make a date to go buy your wedding dress and your suit” unni said as she tapped her finger onto my noise.

I looked at her bewildered.

“And young man, don’t you dare bail out of this” unni said sternly.

She stood up and left the room.

“oh and also, hyun joong, every morning you MUST take so min to school” unni said as she poked her head inside.

[days later]

So here I am waiting patiently for hyun joong to come pick me up.

I repeatedly checked the time.

“yah, where are you? I’m going to be late for school” I muttered.

 I tapped my foot on the ground.

“At this rate I’m going to be late” I sighed as I started running.

“Stupid hyun joong” I screamed.

People looked at me weirdly, but I didn’t care, the only thing in my mind right now was school.

I checked the time again.

“No, 5 minuted left. , I’m not going to make it in time” I said as I tried to run faster, I wasn’t a fast runner and I get tired easily.

The lights for walking across the road turned green.

“c’mon, you have to make it” I muttered to myself.

It turned red.

I ran across the road anyway, hoping nothing bad would happen.

I ran across the road halfway across, I stopped in my tracks.

As soon as the lights shone into my eyes, I realized what was happening.

A car was coming my way, if I didn’t move, I’ll get hit.

“I’m going to die” I screamed to myself.

“Move you damn legs” I thought to myself.

I tried, I really did, it didn’t budge, it was like as if it was frozen solid to the ground.

They started beeping uncontrollably and yelling at me to get off the road.

My mind went blank, I couldn’t think.

But one statement continuously played on my mind.

“I’m going to die”

“SO MIN” someone screamed.

I turned my head an inch as I caught a glimpse of kim hyun joong, I looked at him with my tear stained face, worry was obviously written all over his face.

He finally showed an emotion.

“SO MIN” kim hyun joong shouted as his voice became softer by the second.

The car, it crashed into me.

The pain shot threw me, my mind instantly became blank.

 

KIM HYUN JOON POV

“” I cursed as I had forgotten to pick up so min.

I chucked my bad hurriedly into my locker and slammed it shut.

I ran out of the school, only to watch in horror as the scene that was unfolding before me.

A car, a car was metres away from so min.

I widened my eyes.

This is the second time.

The second time I let her get hurt.

I opened my mouth to speak, I told my legs to move, but they wouldn’t do as they were told.

I was finally able to say something, but I was too late.

“SO MIN” I screamed.

She glanced at me as she gave me a little smile.

“SO MIN” I screamed.

She didn’t move, she was basically frozen to the spot.

“GET out of the way” I shouted as tears fell down my eyes.

I was too late.

The car hit her; she fell and collapsed onto the ground with a loud thud.

A pool of blood surrounded her almost instantly.

Her friend rushed over to her immediately.

I stood there frozen to the spot once again.

If only I hadn’t forgotten to pick her up.

If only I noticed sooner.

If only I could go back in time.

If only I had saved her.

If only I wasn’t so careless.

I quickly dialled the ambulance.

“911” I muttered as I tapped the numbers onto my screen, my fingers were shaking.

“hello, you have reached the help hotline” the person on the other side said calmly.

“AMBULANCE PLEASE, in front of Cube High” I screamed into the phone.

“your call will be connected shortly” the other person said.

“CONNECT IT IMMEDIATELY” I screamed.

“hello, where is the accident” the person on the other line asked.

“in front of cube high, hurry please” I said.

“we will be there immediately”

I rushed over to so min as I pushing her friend out of the way.

“SO MIN” I shouted.

“WAKE UP” I screamed.

not a very long chapter, but its something right?
