JUNG SO MIN POV

“Who is jaejoong…?” I whispered as I diverted my eyes to the floor.

He dropped his utensils onto the table with a loud clutter.

Shock was written all over his face.

“jaejoong, he’s…” hyun joong started. “You really don’t remember him” hyun joong said as his tone of voice changed from seriousness to surprise.

“Ne oppa, I don’t remember, I honestly don’t..” I replied looking as confused as ever.

“He’s your childhood friend” hyun joong started.

I opened my mouth wide.

‘WHAT DID HE JUST SAY’ I screamed in my head.

“What…” I whispered.

“He’s your childhood friend” hyun joong repeated. “You and him were very close, you would do everything together, but once I came into the picture…”

I waited for him to continue.

“everything changed” hyun joong said.

Jaejoong = 14

Hyun joong = 14

So min = 13

“Oh, jaejoong oppa” so min said in a high pitched voice.

He came running to her immediately.

“ne, so min, whats the matter?” jaejoong said.

“I want you to meet Hyun joong oppa” she said as she gestured to hyun joong.

Hyun joong was standing there with his hands in his pocket.

Jaejoong scrunched up his nose in disgust.

“Oh, annyeong I’m jaejoong” jaejoong said as he forced a smile.

“hyun joong oppa, be nice”  so min said as she hit him lightly on the shoulder.

“annyeong” he said bluntly.

“nicely” so min whispered as she elbowed him in the ribs.

“annyeong, I’m hyun joong” hyun joong said as he said it in an sarcastic tone.

Hyun joong was never the type of person to be lively.

“oppas lets play on the swings” so min giggled as she grabbed their hands and dragged them halfway to the swings.

Jaejoon blushed as he glanced at her hand.

She successfully sat on the swing and tried hard to swing on her own.

“oppas, can someone push me” she said as she gave them a smile.

Hyun joong went up to her and started to push her back on forth.

Jaejoong who was in the middle of running to so min, stopped in his tracks.

“That should be me” jaejoong whispered softly.

“Higher oppa, higher” she giggled.

‘It used to be only me that she called oppa…’ jaejoong thought.

Jaejoong ran right behind and pushed hyun joong out of the way,

“It’s my turn now” jaejoong said as he stamped his feet.

“hehe, jaejoong oppa, you’re so childish” so min said as she giggled.

Hyun joong shrugged as he walked away.

“Oh, hyun joong oppa, where are you going” so min said as she got off the swing and ran after him.

Jaejoong stood there with his hands out, ready to push so min before she suddenly ran off.

He frowned as he chased after you.

“Oh, jaejoong oppa, come play ball with us” so min shouted as she waved jaejoong over.

He smiled as he ran up to the oval at the park.

“Here jaejoong, you can kick it first” so min said as she smiled at him.

It warmed jaejoongs heart.

They kicked it to each other

Jaejoong -> so min -> hyun joong -> jaejoong

Before long jaejoong was worn out.

“so min-ah, I’m tired can we rest?” jaejoong said as he pouted.

“Oh yea, you can, I’m still going to play” so min said without turning away from hyun joong.

Jaejoong furrowed his eyebrows and slowly walked to a bench.

He slumped into the bench, letting out a heavy sad sigh.

“jaejoong oppa, want to come get ice-cream?” So min shouted as she waved at him.

Jaejoong immediately looked up and smiled.

He ran over to her and linked arms with her.

They smiled as they happily skipped down to the ice-cream parlour.

“hyun joong oppa, what ice-cream would you like?” so min asked as she unlinked her arms with jaejoong and ran up to hyun joong.

Jaejoong frowned deeply as he closely followed.

“chocolate” he bluntly stated.

“and you jaejoong oppa?” so min asked.

“um…” jaejoong said as he scanned the ice-cream flavours.

“I want this flavour” jaejoong said as he pointed at cookie and cream.

“oh, me too” so min said as she excitedly jumped up and down.

She dug her hands into her bad looking for her wallet, but by the time she got it got hyun joong was in the middle of paying.

“oppa, you didn’t have to, I wanted to shout you guys” so min said as her shoulders slumped.

“Don’t worry about it” hyun joong said as he let out a little smile.

“omg, oppa you smiled” so min said as she smiled widely.

“aniyo, no I didn’t” hyun joong said as he started walking to the table with the ice-creams.

Sol min pouted as she went after him, leaving jaejoong standing there all alone.

He sighed as he slowly walked over and joined them.

“Oh, jaejoong oppa, where were you?” so min asked as she her ice-cream.

“I went to the restroom” he simply replied.

After finishing off the ice-creams so min linked arms with jaejoong and hyun joong.

Jaejoong smiled as he felt so min pulling him close, but immediately frowned when he realized that she was also doing that to hyun joong.

“jaejoong oppa, can we visit your house? I want to play your piano” so min said as she gave him puppy eyes.

Upon arriving at his house, so min ran up the stairs and the sound off piano immediately filled the air.

Jaejoong watched as he long fingers pressed each button with so much elegance; it was as if she was a professional, not making a single mistake.

He swayed in the music and started singing along to it.

The music suddenly stopped and jaejoong looked at so min with confusion.

“Oppa, you have such a nice voice, WAAAHHHH” so min spazzed.

“kamsamnida” jaejoong said as he blushed.
