His word repeated over and over again in my head.

“I shall win your heart, how you had won mine”

You could say you were excited and curious of how he would win your heart.

Maybe he’d be like any other guy.

Maybe he won’t, I mean he was there by my side when I woke up, and he was also part of my past.

I’ve also dated him, was it just childish love, I was experiencing?

I sat on my bed, happy to finally be back home again.

My phone started to vibrate.

Meet me at the park.

From: kim hyun joong.

Oppa wae?

From: So Min.

It’s a surprise

I arrived at the park, half running to the swing.

Unaware that it was becoming rather cold.

Swinging back and forth on the swing, I felt the cold wind blow my long brown hair back.

My hair dancing with the wind.

The cold wind pushing away my many worries.

The cold wind made me smile widely.

Soon I started to shiver from the cold, the swing steadily stopped.

I started to rub my arms and hands up and down.

“Why didn’t I think of bringing a coat?” I muttered to myself.

I mentally slapped myself.

A coat was suddenly draped lightly onto my shoulders.

Filling me with warmth immediately.

I turned around to see hyun joong.

“oppa” I smiled.

“You’re late!” I said as I pouted.

“mianhae, they were traffic, please forgive me” hyun joong said as he clasped his hands together.

I nodded my head.

We sat on the swing quietly, from the corner of my eye; I could see hyun joong rubbing his hands together.

“Oppa. Are you cold?” I asked.

“aniyo” he said with a half-smile.

I stood up as I draped the coat onto hyun joong.

“I don’t want you to get sick” I said as I went back to my swing, and started to swing slowly back and forth.

“what do you mean? You’re going to get sick, not me” he argued as he tried to put the coat back on me.

“Oppa, you wear, I insist” I said

Even though I really wanted something to shield me from the coldness.

“It should be time” hyun joong said as he smiled as he checked his wrist watch.

“Time for what?” I asked with curiosity.

“A surprise” hyun joong said as he bought a finger to his lips.

He covered my eyes, as I unconsciously walked.

“Oppa, where are we going?” I asked, dying of curiosity.

“There’s stairs here” hyun joong muttered in my ear.

He led me carefully up the stairs.

A warm wind brushed against my cold face and body sending little shivers down my spine.

“We’re here” he exclaimed.

I slowly opened my eyes.

What I saw in front of me, I looked at it in shock.

“Oppa, isn’t this star seoul?” I squeaked.

“ne” hyun joong smiled.

“oppa, but the entre fee is expensive” I said as I furrowed my eyeborows.

“don’t worry, oppa has a lot of money to spend on you” he said as he led me to sit down.

I gave him a half-smile.

I frowned as I followed.

It was a candlelit dinner.

I sat down as the waiter came and took our orders.

I looked at the menu; he had chosen the dishes that were expensive for me and the cheaper ones for himself.

I started to get irritated.

“Oppa, why did you choose the expensive stuff for me?” I asked.

He thought for a moment before he opened his mouth to speak.

“Because I want you to feel special” he said.

I stood up from my seat immediately.

I wanted to feel special, but not in this way.

“so min” he whispered.

“You simply can’t win my heart with money that simply isn’t possible for me” I said in an irritated tone.

I grabbed my purse as I stormed out the door.

Hyun joong sat there bewildered.

I started to run as I excited the restaurant.

I absolutely can’t believe it.

He actually thought he could win me with money.

Money, seriously, I know he has loads and loads of money, but I don’t want to feel like I’ve fallen with someone who’s just used heaps of money on me or even used money to make me feel special.

I’m not like other girls, he has to understand that.
