Joy and Seulgi weren't particularly religious people, but they found themselves praying for each other way harder than they've ever prayed for anything or anyone else before, so much so that when they will call each other (both have returned to their respective homes while waiting for the results of the exams - Joy in Manila, Seulgi in Negros Occidental), they will cut the call abruptly so that they can catch the prayers scheduled daily --

"'Tol, Angelus na, ba-bye na, isasama pa kita sa dasal ko."

"Uy pre, sinama kita sa kanina sa 3 o'clock prayer ko, kahit nga sa Bless us oh Lord and these thy gifts, sinama na kita."

"'Tol pinagdasal ko sa guardian angel ko na sana makalusot ka sa exams."

"Pre pinangako ko na kay Roldt 'di na ko jojowa ng panget basta pumasa ka lang."

"Naku 'tol dehado yata tayo diyan a. Sinabi ko pala kay Papa Susej na kahit 'wag na tumangkad si Joohyun, basta makapasa ka lang."

"Bakit nasama si Joohyun? Pinagdarasal mo 'yun no? Ikaw aaah."

"Gaga. Basta 'tol, sa lahat ng Amen ko at Ama Namin, kasama ka."

The heavens must have been amused at their prayers, but it seemed like the heavens did listen to them, because their prayers worked.
