When it was Jisoo's turn to speak at the lectern to talk about a particular scripture from the Bible, Seulgi noticed that the clergy stole she's wearing has rainbow colors in it - the unmistakable colors of the Pride flag.

Seulgi was mindblown.

Needless to say, when they had the chance to talk after the prayer meeting, she couldn't help but pepper Jisoo with questions.

"Anong klaseng prayer meeting 'yung kanina, Jisoo?"

"Ah," Jisoo smiled. "Ito 'yung prayer meeting na ibang-iba sa pinupuntahan natin dati. It's less...hypocritical."

Jisoo then told Seulgi that a year or two after she's helped conduct prayer meetings in her old religious congregation,she couldn't help but feel that the way they do things was very alienating and judgmental of other members of the society, including the LGBTQI+ people. 

"It was very fire and brimstone. Paparusahan ang mga lalaking nakikiapid sa kapwa lalaki, babae sa kapwa babae! Lahat sila mapupunta sa impyerno!" Jisoo said, shaking her head. 

"Nakikiapid is such a superficial way of describing the relationships and interactions between people of the same . I know some queer people, and what they have, what they feel, it's not always nakikiapid lamang. It's nagmamahal - nagmamahalan sila."

"So I quit. But I just couldn't turn my back on my calling. I know deep down that this is I want to do. I want to be a pastor. So I sought out a church which is inclusive. Yung boyfriend ko
