Joohyun had to compose herself after she heard about Seulgi and Jisoo. She didn't need to hear more, knowing that Jisoo's been integrated in the lives of the people most dear to Seulgi - her best friend Joy and her favorite kid in the world, Ningning - is all the confirmation she needs to get that yes, Seulgi and Jisoo are together.

She in her breath. Suddenly she felt like the world is spinning on her feet, and everything's dangerously unstable, her balance thrown off by the violent mix of hurt and regret. This is what she also felt when she saw Seulgi and Jisoo at the gig. She wanted to run, but she stayed rooted on her spot, unable to take her eyes off them as she watched them talked, laughed and sing-along to the hits of Mayonnaise. 

Eventually she messaged Yeri, and asked that she come pick her up. Yeri did arrive, but by that time, the band was singing Synesthesia, a song that has defined her pathos all too well.

 But now she's still here. 

Because even if her heart is wounded, she needed to try again.

She just wants one chance to talk to her, and for Seulgi to hear her out.

"Kumusta siya?" she started, as she faced Joy.

"Joohyun," Joy said, with no resentment in her voice. "Seulgi has started to love herself again."

Joohyun felt a tear run down her cheek.
