Even if Joy has gone back to Elbi, with not only her mom but also her father (the lolo said it should not only be the lola who should have the luxury and privilege of doting on beautiful Ningning), Seulgi would still see her once a month, mostly also because of Joohyun's prodding.

Joohyun - who has been vocal of her dream to have kids of her own with her palangga Seulgi, a desire that only grew more especially when Joy lived with them - would schedule a monthly visit to Elbi with Seulgi. 

Everytime she's there, she would ask Joy how is it being a mom, her voice always filled with wonder and excitement.

"Mahirap na masaya," Joy would answer truthfully.

Sometimes Ningning would wake up at 3 am and even if Joy has her parents to help her out, Ningning would at times only be able to go back to sleep when it was her mom who was singing her a lullaby and holding her. 

There was a time when Ningning - then only six months old - had a fever and Joy felt that she would die of worry. She's never been more afraid or felt such pain in her life than when she saw her own daughter suffering. 

But having Ningning gave her a new perspective in life and Joy never felt unconditional love until she had her child.

"But all the difficult parts, the struggle - they're all part of being a mom. And my Ningning is all worth it," Joy would say.

As she tells this to Joohyun, she would see Joohyun beam with the biggest smile.
