I believe some of you nerds here are unaware that it hasn't even been a month since this story was released, and it already reached 100 upvotes. You guys are insane. Really XD Well, I'm not complaining. I'm very much grateful instead because it forces me to create impromptu ideas to make this story even better.

“What in the world are you up to, Uchinaga?” Minjeong mutters in a perplexed demeanour, gently massaging her temple in distress.

  Minjeong sat one seat apart from Aeri on the bench. The screams and cheers of the people on the other side of their lane can be heard.

“What do you mean? I’m lending your hopeless arse a hand. What does it look like I’m doing?” Aeri just casually replied, without any hint of guilt whatsoever. She adjusted her vintage shades in a ladylike manner as if she were shooting a commercial or whatever.

“I was already doing a good job yesterday before you half-arsed dragged us here for god knows what reason.” She grumbled in distress, seemingly tired.

  Minjeong is touch-deprived for so many reasons. She woke up earlier alone in bed. Jimin wasn’t beside her anymore, which was probably one of the reasons she was a bit grumpy right now. 

  She wanted to spend her day waking up and seeing Jimin’s sleeping face. She wanted to spend her day with her, watching their favourite movies together. She just wants to spend the day with her, probably cuddled in bed, just the two of them. No more distractions. But then it got ruined.

  It got ruined when Uchinaga Aeri, the school’s number one know-it-all, just happened to be sitting on their dining table trying to win her mother’s affection with her intellectual bullocks.

 Seemingly baffled by the scene before her, Minjeong, with her messy bed hair and a little drool on her lips, sat on the seat near her twin brother, who was too preoccupied with his phone.  

“Minjeong, your friend is such a charmer. She gave me some authentic Japanese tea leaves.” Her mother looks giddy with excitement. 

  Her mom is a tea enthusiast. Her collection of tea and teapots is so wide that Minjeong could literally earn hundreds if she happens to auction some of them. And she doesn’t like that Aeri is targeting her mother’s weakness. Whatever her intention might be, she’s hoping it’s genuine. 

 Minjeong was unaware when Jimin sat beside her. She placed a plate full of bacon, beans, and eggs. Her favourite. She mutters a ‘good morning’ followed by ‘I made this for you,’ then chuckles in between while her eyes twinkle in delight.

 Minjeong was blinded a bit. Jimin in the morning is such a big distraction, especially if she was wearing her dad’s ‘Mr. Good Lookin is Cookin’ apron, looking like a freakin’ snac—she slapped herself to remove such indecent thoughts out of her head.

  Now, what happened after that was sort of just a blur. It happened so quickly she didn’t even realise that they were now in the bowling alley. Minjeong was wondering where her soul had been the entire time, because the moment she went back to her consciousness, Ning Yizhuo and Jeno joined what sort of cult Aeri is forming.

 That’s what happened. That’s why she’s here. S
