Two years after K²MH Entertainment was established...

Minju's POV:

We were more than ready to have kids and Hyewon volunteered to carry the first child we initially planned to have. We still haven't married yet, but we decided it was time for our kids to be born, two years after we came out and established our own Entertainment Company. Hyewon was preparing for the final month of her pregnancy. We had gone on with IVF Treatments. It was my eggs that she used to conceive this first born child. I was mostly beside her these days, I do all the work, she wasn't allowed to lift heavy things, so Eunbi Unnie was temporarily staying with us in Gangnam. Chaeyeon Unnie was also the one who buys groceries and carries them in, she often helps with the bulk of house work, Yewon and Jisoo Eomma would always drop by every weekend to assist us, basically everyone in our family and IZ*ONE Family comes and goes here. I was working from home and could only take modelling jobs that'll finish early. Anything past eleven in the morning I can't do it. I always made sure to be home before lunch so my Aegiya doesn't overthink.

I've now came to understand how ridiculous it was to overthink back then. Now that Hyem's pregnant with our first child, she often overthinks about me cheating. Often she would cry because of her whacked hormones. I was always accused of being too close for comfort with my previous co-stars, yeah we always talked, but that's just because they were so thoughtful to reach out to me and check if I was doing alright with the pregnancy of Hyewon. They were always asking about Hyewon and our conversations always revolved around Hyewon. Hyewon who recently became a negative overthinker and insecure person. The once brilliant and confident woman was now reduced to an insecurity ladened woman. She doesn't know that my previous co-stars were ecstatic to find out I would soon become a Mommy. Congratulatory messages were sent and some well wishers, some are excited to see how our baby will look like. Those pleasantries common between friends. I watched her now as she ate her fruit bowl I made her for breakfast, she loves the Philippine Mangoes from Guimaras, a province in the Philippines that offers the sweetest Mangoes all year round.

She's been having flash frozen mangoes through out her pregnancy. Specifically during the mornings. She had a bunch of other fruits that she craves for such as strawberries from Tochigi, she won't eat it if it weren't specifically from that region and she knows exactly if we've been duped simply by looking at the fruit. I don't know where she learned it from, but I've had far better luck trying to find the Philippine Mangoes than the Tochigi Strawberries. Which is why every week, we source them straight from Hii-chan's parents, they send us kilos of strawberries freshly harvested from Tochigi. To say that our expenses have tripled over the last nine months was an understatement. Though we got some free stuff, like they send us an extra kilo out of their pocket for free, still the other fees connected to getting her these strawberries was enough to feed the whole of IZ*ONE in a month twice over.

The Mangoes came from Kriesha, she sends us Mangoes straight from Guimaras as she lived close to the island. She doesn't charge us, just gives us three crates of it each time she sends us every week, according to her it was cheap to get those in the Philippines and the shipping fees are also measely, if I can figure it out, Kriesha just didn't want to charge us with the shipping, she had a well off family, who runs a farm and exports the produce to other countries, she was always a giver to us and have been very supporitve of Hyem and I. She was elated once the news of Hyewon's pregnancy reached her. She was one of the first to offer to send us fruits, Hyemu loved her so much, she was adored by Hyemu, it seemed like she was craving for Kriesha's cute visuals as she always called her everyday to talk about mundane things before she starts her day and end her day. Kriesha, bless her heart patiently talks to Hyemu each day, albeit she was still trying to recuperate from her sickness. They would always do video calls, Kriesha introduced her to the whole family, earning some teasing from IZ*ONE Members that Hyemu was now Kriesha's wife-to-be.

Hyemu managed to talk to Kriesha's parents, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles and sibling. She knows everyone by heart and often says hi to them. Kriesha was really someone who was family centric. She loves her family and there was nothing she wouldn't do to give her family something to be proud of, I've met both her parents during those training years, they visited Kriesha regularly. Eventually moving in with her to Korea. They got an apartment around Mapo-gu, they always invited me to join them for snacks and dinner. Her parents' love language was cooking all of Kriesha's favorite food. One of them was a Roasted ling Pork called Cochinillo, the meat was tender and the skin was crispy and a Rice Dish called Valenciana, they also make an unforgettable Adobo sa Gata, which was a dish that consisted of Pork and Chicken, stewed in Soy Sauce, Bay Leaf, Peppercorns, Vinegar and Coconut Milk. It was like the Kimchi of the Philippines, because they have different variations of this dish, some don't put Coconut Milk, some make it sweet, some spicy and some salty and sour. The Philippine cuisine is a melting pot of Spanish, Asian and American dishes. She looks cute as she focuses on eating her fruit bowl, her tummy doubling as a table for the bowl. I melt at her cuteness. Then she screams at no one in particular.

"Aaaahhhhhh ahahahahahahahahaa! Oh no. No. No! You're not yet due until two days!" She exclaimed.
