Minju's POV:

It was April 1, 2022 and I was busy because of several Korean and International Fashion Brand shoots. CitybreezeXMinju was a sold out success, it was one of the Korean Fashion Brands I shot through out late 2021 to early 2022. The Rom-Com Drama I got casted into was about to start shooting on July this year and the casting announcement was set for late June. Sakura Unnie was preparing for her re-debut with LE SSERAFIM from HYBE. Their debut teasers recently dropped and our IZ*ONE Group Chat was active yet again, everyone was congratulating both Chaewon and Sakura Unnie who are re-debuting as LE SSERAFIM. I was working hard as Hyem and I agreed to do back in February Fifth, which was my Birthday. We continued to tease fans often posting on Bubble about our personal life. Teasing fans in the process because we always posted photos wearing the same item of clothing if ever our MongMinators have noticed it and so far only delusional accounts have picked up on the clues which were always met with admonishing from bigger individual accounts. Perhaps Hyem was right, perhaps we shouldn't rush into the demise of our careers. Perhaps we shouldn't share our big news.

If I were to be asked, all these was nonsensical to me. I just wanted to post about her and tell people how lucky I got to have been seated next to Hyewon back in Produce 48 and until IZ*ONE. We've clicked well because of our MBTIs. She was an ENFP and I was an INFJ. ENFPs are drawn to INFJs naturally because INFJs are calm and orderly, we are a surprise to ENFPs, I also actively listened to her as an INFJ and multiple times encouraged and supported her through everything even her bid for IZ*ONE, I supported her. She often thought she's not as talented as me or the other contestants. I was on the same boat as hers, I initially thought that the other girls in the contest were far more worthy to be part of the debuting team. But MNET had other plans for us both. We played the trainees who were just so pure and had striking visuals. Apart from that we don't have anything to offer. I worked hard and practiced hard to be able to make it through. I always believed in working hard to be able to see the fruits of your labor. I told myself this and somewhere in the middle of the contest, I got complimented by trainers for my improvements. I have since gained my confidence in performing and never looked back but worked harder than anyone else.

We've been frequently going on walks at the Hangang River Park, Haneul Park or the local play ground. After I expressed my disdain for seemingly hiding from the public. She often takes me out on walks to the park no matter if both of us were tired or not. I was happy for the time being. We didn't have to worry because we often go on walks after we both have removed our make up and have dressed down to comfortable clothes. Often with face mask too. Korea has become a quiet country, fans are still banned to trail behind artists due to COVID Restrictions. We've been like this for two straight years now. Lately something shifted with Hyewon, she was now often the one who cooks for us both and have even given me packed lunches like I did for her through last year. She now wakes up early to prepare me breakfast in bed whenever I am dead tired from multiple shoots. I appreciated Hyewon more for always getting me breakfast in bed. If she was previously a Tsundere, now she full on displays her love for me with these meals she prepares, similarly all the staff are fed too, she also makes those lunches for my staff. The staffs are very grateful to her and what she does for the staff. She carefully packs them individual lunches with notes of her gratefulness for taking care of me on set of the shoot.

She even figured out a way to send me snacks on set. She also figured out each staffer's favorite snack and would always send snacks. She would often send me fruit bowls or my favorite chocolate. She keeps on surprising me whenever I come for work. She also had the habit of sending me flowers first thing when I arrive on set, you can be sure that a bouquet of flowers was waiting for me. She always signed with Ju-Mong, short for Minju's mong faced friend. Korean fans have always called her Mong, we knew about this nickname. In IZ*ONE everyone called her Kwangbae/Gwangbae Hyung or Oppa. She had a lot of nicknames. Her favorite was Kwangbae/Gwangbae. The reason being is because the nickname sounded cool. Mostly because the nickname was a man's name and Hyewon was the masculine role in our relationship. Tonight, I went right away to the playground where Hyewon was waiting for me. I came from a photo shoot for a magazine cover at Yongma Land. Where we previously shot an album jacket as IZ*ONE.

I spotted Hyem sitting at a picnic table her eyes on me as I walked towards her. I smiled at her despite me wearing a mask. She smiled back at me, I can tell despite her wearing a mask. She was my respite after a long day's work. She was similar to me, we both have our time outs from each other. She liked playing games either on her console, phone or computer. She together with Sakura Unnie and Yena Unnie were Gamer's Alliance in IZ*ONE. I had -5 eyesight so I just see her and nothing else. Only when I was near the table did I notice that there are several take outs on the table. They're from our favorite Chicken place called Gwaenchana Basasak Korean Fried Chicken. She must've been waiting for so long, I rushed beside her.

"Aegiya. I'm sorry, I was late." I told her.

"It's okay Aegiya. I just had these delivered, because I figured you'd be hungry. Sadness Manager just left." She replied smiling like a fool.

"You weren't waiting for so long?" I asked her.

"Nope, only for twenty minutes. Sadness Manager was with me the whole time too. I was also in a chat meeting with Stella Jang." She said smiling.

"Oh my gadniss Hyem! I thought you waited long for me and brought food along and that the food was already cold and that you were bored out of your mind." I replied pouting at her.

See the last message I got from her was at five in the afternoon, she said she's on her way to the playground and I got here two hours and a half later.

"Happy April Fool's Day?! I guess? Did I get you worried?" She replied chuckling at me.

"You did! You're my April Fool! Don't ever do that again!" I replied to her.

"I can't promise I won't do it again. Whiny and Pouty Minju is my favorite version of Kim Minju Angel." She replied softly.

"We should eat while it's still hot." I replied to her.

"Yeah. I got your favorite cheese balls." She replied.
