Hyewon's POV:

It was the year 2027, February 25th. We are getting ready to launch our first artist. A Girl Group called EVER4FTER composed of ITZY Members and IVE Members. The teasers are about to drop today at twelve in the afternoon. We have a long day ahead of us in preparation for our company's opening, the website goes up today with our profiles mostly in place, the website just needed to be upped. We are counting down to the afternoon. We were simultaneously going on a live press conference together with our MongMinators and the press. We've since had a drama project together. The Korean Adaptation of a Popular Filipino Drama called The Rich Man's Daughter or The Chaebol's Ttal in which I played Park Chowon the name means herb, which was derived from Althea, the original character's name which means healer. She played Kim Chae-Young which was derived from the original Character's name Jade which means a noble gem. We were star crossed lovers who never stopped loving each other, despite everything, her character loved her Father and Mother and she eventually allowed herself to be married to Choi Dae-hoon, we had to stop for a while and move on and away from each other. We met again in the Pride March, after several years.

The story was somehow rushed when it first aired in the Philippines, because of the network being under scrutiny. The network said that they had no viewers but in reality they had a lot of viewers. It was because the Philippines has a Conservative Catholic Church, 97% of its people are against LGBT and only a few have the support of their family and friends. Everyone wasn't ready for an LGBT themed program. Koreans are the same but due to popular demand, we starred in the Korean Adaptation and we did a lot of spin off from the original story. We showed every bit and pieces of how they were separated and how everything worked out and they have met again in the Pride March. We won several awards as best tandem, best actress and best supporting actress, best new producer as I produced and bought the story from the original production. The writer of the drama and I had several conferences on what happened in between those years their characters were apart and we decided to show everything. If I was going to produce it, I would have to know the full story and I managed to convince Suzette Doctolero to give me the full story. I wanted to tell everyone the full story, exactly how she envisioned it.

We have since moved to a bigger, better and wider house, while the old house was being rented out to Son Seungwan and Son Joohyun Sunbaenim, the two have married and quit their lives as Red Velvet Members, both have become solo artists, Joohyun Sunbaenim became an Actress and Seungwan Sunbaenim a Solo Ballad Singer. Seulgi Sunbaenim is now a digital artist, she draws and makes digital art and made Chaeyeon's Cover Art for her last album. Sooyoung Sunbaenim and Seulgi now dates each other, right after Sooyoung Sunbaenim ended her relationship with Crush as they were both busy, she's an actress now. Yeri Sunbaenim was a solo singer and rapper she most times would do special duets with the members. Everyone has a life now. Five years after we initially planned to come out. We already came out to the public on our seventh anniversary last year.

"Aegiya! We have trouble with the microphones for the press conference!" She was panicking as she entered our office.

"Calm down, aegiya. I'll take care of it." I replied to her and smiled.

I sat her at my table and did breathing exercises with her.

"Breathe and tell me what's going on calmly." I asked her.

"The sound system doesn't seem to work right. One of the Microphones won't power on either." She replied heaving.

"Shhhhh... You don't have to worry. There's back up microphones. Why are you really panicking? Was there something that happened? Why were you in the sound department?" I asked her gently.

"I-I..." She tried to explain herself and where the panic was coming from. She heaves.

"I was just checking everything. I wanted to make sure everything is alright. No, there's nothing, I'm just hyper focusing on negative things and jitters." She said and breathed out.

A half smile was drawn to her face. I smiled at her and encircled her in a hug.

"Don't hyper focus on negativity alright? We'll make it through. Trust me." I replied to her into the hug.

"Aegiya, we'll receive the court's decision soon and Kyujin won't win against the mountain of evidences we had against her and today is also the day we launch K²MH Entertainment, we will be fine soon, we already came out last year, this year we will be thriving CEOs." I followed up to her.

I smiled at her and kissed the top of her head once more before unlatching myself from the hug.

"I'll check out the sounds, lights and cameras. Stay here and don't stress yourself out, have some chocolates or gummies. I'll be right back aegiya." I told her gently.

I walked to the press conference area we are inside our Company's Building, today was also the unveiling of the company's logo and the company's building in general. I walked in and a sound engineer was already on the problem, he was tinkering with the microphones and had a smile to his face.

"I know, Hyewon. Minju was stressed about this microphone, she was afraid it won't work, she tried it but didn't know that the microphone's power button was at the of the mic." He giggled as he showed me how to turn the mic on.

He tries the mic by tapping and belted out 'Minju Angel' song that our members often sang when Minju wasn't around. It has become a running joke among our WIZ*ONEs to sing it even when Minju was with us. 

"She walked in and picked up the mic and started to tap the mic. She walked out hyperventilating." He follows up to me.

Jisung follows up and smiles at me. 

"Mianhe, Jisung. Sounds, lights and cameras are good right?" I asked him and his team.

"Good for sounds, yes." Jisung replied. 

"Good for lights." Hanbin shouts at me from the distance.

"Good for cameras." Jongin told me from behind. 

"Alright guys, thank you for your hard work, let's reconvene here at 12. Meanwhile take a well deserved break and order pizzas. It's my treat." I replied to them and got some money from my wallet. I gave them 50 thousand won and told them to bring us two boxes of pepperoni and all meat pizza for Minju. 

I walked back into our shared office and found her sitting and her head against Yujin's shoulders. Yujin meanwhile was on her phone, scrolling mindlessly through her android phone. She was the sole person to have an android phone when everyone of us had iPhones. Even when she made enough money as an IZ*ONE Member, she always stuck with her Android Phones. The newest ones she would get from Samsung, she liked it and always had her trusty Samsung Phone as opposed to the newest and latest iPhones.

"Unnie! Was the new mic broken?" Yujin asked me as she kept her phone back to her purse.

"It wasn't. The Microphone's power button is down at the , this lady right here thought the mics don't work." I chuckled as I sat beside Minju.

Minju in turn buried her face down at Yujin's shoulders, embarrassed to be hearing about her blunder.

"Ming Unnie, My Wony will surely be jealous if she sees you right this instance. Sit up." Yujin told her. 

"Yah! Yujin-ah! Wony is my child! How dare she be jealous of me and how dare you make her jealous." Minju says to her.

Minju shifted her head and placed it against my shoulder. I tapped her cheek lightly as I was sending the online marketing staff who were working on the edited photos that were supposed to be released one by one with an interval of fifteen minutes. These were the silhouette shots we did with our artists, everyone is being revealed today. We started with the leader of the group, Chaeryeong, it was a consensus between the EVER4FTER members to elect Chaeryeong as their leader. Yujin was the same, she liked Chaeryeong to be leader having been a leader of IVE for seven years, Yeji also wanted Chaeryeong as the leader because she was also tired. Chaeryeong was shy at first but she rounded up the girls quite well. She had a co-captain, Ryujin and Wonyoung. Yujin was just happy she was working at a better place with us her Unnies. She was like a literal puppy who is just so happy being surrounded by people she knows and loves.

"Yah! Yujin! Where have you been?! We've been practicing over at the practice room and you're sitting here?!" Wonyoung came into the room. 

She was fuming at Yujin and was about ready to hit Yujin. They were about to re-debut same time around after our launch. 

"Sorry, yeobo. I'm just calming Minju Unnie." Yujin smiled charmingly at Wony.

"Go back to the practice room, now. Don't make me count to five and Eomma? Why were you in a panic?" Wony said worried at her Minju Eomma. She emphasized the word now to Yujin making Yujin stand up and make a run for the practice room.

"It's just something she imagined, going wrong with our launch." I answered for her. 

"Oh, Eomma. Don't stress too much about it, people will love us. I swear, our launch will go on without a hitch." Wony said smiling at her Minju Eomma.

"I'll get back to the practice room Eomma and calm down, we are here to support you and Appa Hyem." Wony said as she hugged her Minju Eomma.

"You know Ming, she's right. I am here to support you and so as Wony, Yujin and everyone of our friends. So calm down alright? Pizza will be arriving soon, I got you a box of All-Meat and I got myself a box of Pepperoni. Be a good girl and sit here, I just need to be in a meeting with the online marketing team, it's a quick meeting and I'll just be on my laptop." I replied to her.

"Hyemuuuuuu, I'm scared." She replied with a cute pout.

"Don't be scared, we're just going to reveal our company, we'll fight hard for this company to stay relevant. We needed to do this for IVE and 3/5ths of ITZY, come on, here, get this done before I finish my meeting." I replied to her and handed her a stack of papers that needed to be signed by her.

"Sign these papers to finalize everything. You were a little busy." I followed up to her. 

She was busy with shooting ads and magazine covers. We both appeared on magazine covers both together and individually even more so when we announced our relationship back in August of 2026. Numerous of interviews were done both of us answered burning questions from the Korean Press. We also told our back story in the ads for So Hee, we got consent from MNET to use those footages of us while on Produce 48. The ad were truly our style, quiet and just does what ever we want in our own little world. It has been a few months since we came out and everyone of the press and K-Public was still eyes on us. So we are capitalizing with the launch while we still have everyone's attention. She got the papers from me and brought out her pen from her bag. She signed each page and I was left on the virtual meeting with the online marketing staffs. It was eight in the morning, they all needed to finish posting the members of EVER4FTER so the next phase could start and that is to launch our website. Then the press conference will happen shortly after upping the website for the public. We quietly worked on each task. I was on a Zoom Meeting and I was controlling their screens and pointing out the final revisions to the posts on the website. It was our profiles, Minju was supposed to be the President and CEO of K²MH Entertainment and I was supposed to be COO and VP for Internal Affairs. Chaeyeon was supposed to be VP for External Affairs,  Lia previously of ITZY was Director for Training and she had Yuri as Head Vocal Coach, while Yena was supposed to be Head Dance Coach, Eunbi Unnie was VP for Human Resources and Talent Acquisition. They somehow got things mixed up. Sadness Manager was under Eunbi Unnie and Hyeojin was now Secretary to Minju. Marketing was handled by a third party vendor and so as other aspects of our business. Soon the pizzas arrived and we ate heartily a whole 12" Pie as we quietly worked on last minute stuff that we needed to do and accomplish. 

4 Hours Later...

We  emerged in front of our building, dressed in our company colors of black and embroidered starlight purple. It was an ode to IZ*ONE, we decided the colors ourselves together with our members. There was a voting process on the colors, two rounds of votes to finalize everything. We appeared in our button down all black shirts and a patch at the left chest that says K²MH Entertainment and we were dressed in our jeans. We wanted to appear in public dressed not in a dress like we usually do, we wanted relaxed and also semi serious. The Upper Management wore Black and the artists alternated with Black and Purple Button Down Shirts. The Captain of EVER4FTER Chaeryeong wore Black while Ryujin wore Purple, Wony wore Black because she's our child. The press conference soon started, cameras were flashing and Minju was soon called up front and center. She gracefully walked to the front and climbed up the pedestal. She smiles at everyone an
