~Next day~

HyunJae’s POV

EunHee and I are working on a new music project! It’s about time, we’ve been wanting to do it for some time now but we were never free. Finally since it’s the holidays we can get started!

      “HyunJae ah... Do you think you could do the rap?”

      “Okay.. Why? Can’t handle it?” I smirk.

      “Aniya, it just needs a low voice,” she retorts with a smile.

      “Yah!” I playfully hit her. “What are you trying to say?”

We both laugh and get back to work.

After two hours, we stop for a tea break.

      “Uhh, HyunJae...”

      “Hmm?”

      “Do you remember what happened yesterday?”

      “Of course...”

How could I forget? The images are still so vivid in my head – GongChan being in my room, us talking together...

But the more I think about it, the more it feels like it was just a dream. I mean, come on. Gongchan? MY room? Impossible.

      “Think it’s real?”

      “I dunno...”

I go to my room to fetch Channie Koong.

      “I really do wonder if it was all a dream,” I say, hugging it.

      “Yeah... But then we both would have had the same dream...”

I fiddle with Channie Koong’s hood. “It does happen...”

Suddenly I feel Channie Koong buzz in my hand. What’s going on?!

Without warning a large creature stumbles through what seems to be thin air and sprawls our on the floor of the music room.

I take a better look at the creature and realise it’s a person...

      “GongChan-ssi?”

      “HyunJae?”

      “OMG how did this happen?!” we both scream in unison.

We laugh for a moment and then things become serious again.

      “Wait – what were you doing just before I got here?” he asks with urgency.

      “Nothing! I was just playing with Channie Koong’s hood...”

      “AHA!” he snaps. He grabs Channie Koong, stares at it for a moment and then takes its hood off again.

      “Gongchan-ssi, what’s the point of-“

      “Shh. Just hold on...”

Like last time, a portal the size of a hula hoop opened up in the air.

      “Wahh...” EunHee gasps.

Gongchan throws Channie Koong to me.

      “Yah, when it closes up again, put its hood on okay?”

Before I can say anything, he jumps through the portal. Again, it closes up the moment he’s completely through.

Being too shocked to think for myself, I mindlessly put Channie Koong’s hood on again. I feel that same buzzing sensation I felt last time, and almost immediately Gongchan’s head appears in mid air and he starts making faces.

      “Ack! Either come in or get out!” I scream.

Gongchan laughs and walks in.

      “Sorry, did I scare you?” he teases.

      “Aniyo! How did you know that would work anyway?”

Gongchan’s POV

      “How did you know that would work anyway?”

I tell HyunJae and EunHee about what I found out yesterday.

      “Oh... So Channie Koong’s hood controls it all?” EunHee asks.

      “Nae... I guess...”

      “So, Gongchan-ssi, are you going to go back now?” HyunJae asks me. Her voice sounds a little disappointed.

      “Ani! I’m free today so I wanna hang here!”

HyunJae’s face lights up but she tries to hide it. Aigoo~

      “But won’t your hyungs wonder where you are?”

      “Aniya, they’re out today. But they wouldn’t let me go with them,” I pout. My hyungs are so mean to me sometimes.

      “Oh well! Their loss then~” EunHee says.

I smile at them.

      “Got that right!”
