Taemin POV

Since passing Jiwoo's test, I have been given real tasks and real responsibilities. I do all kinds of appointments for Jiwoo, whether it's interviews, spa visits or meetings with different producers and directors. I'm glad I didn't give up and kept going.  

 And even with Minho I get along very well. One day after the pool incident, we talked it out and smoothed the waters.

"Hey, I've already forgotten that you pushed me into the pool." He said as he put his arm around my shoulder.

"You fell in by yourself." Had I corrected him but he just waved it off because he too wanted us to get along.

I'm sure it's important for him to get along with me because his mother means a lot to him. What other son would go through such a theatre for his mother? The two of them must be really close.

"Tomato, Tomato. The point is: I forgive you." He said with a big smile while he generously pointed at himself and then at me.

I didn't point out to him that he had just said the word tomato twice in the same way. As long as we can put everything behind us and start over again, I'm good.

"Thank you Minho, you don't know how much this means to me." My words were not exaggerated. Now that we can start over, I get a chance to introduce him to Kai after all.

"Here, as amends from my side." Minho held out two cinema tickets. One had my name on it and the other one had his.

"It's a private screening. Just for you and me."

Never had I been to a private showing, especially not with a celebrity. I felt a bit bad accepting the tickets, but I really wanted to make friends with Minho, for Kai. I don't want anyone to think that I am taking advantage of him, least of all himself. But at that moment I couldn't refuse, that would have been rude. And if he offers me his hand of friendship, who am I to refuse it?

Flashback Minho POV

"Step 1 of my diabolical master plan!" I slap two cinema tickets on the table in front of Jinki.

"I thought you were Superman in this story." He says dryly and takes the cards in his hand.

"Step one of my heroic master plan!" I hastily correct myself.

"I'll put him in a situation where we're both alone and I can show him how heroic I am." I explain to Jinki, grinning at him in amusement.

"So you're going to invite him to the movies?" he asks me, confused.

Oh Jinki, you're just not equipped for my genius. I have to grin.

"I don't just invite him to a movie." I explain to him conspiratorially.

"I'm going to show him what a strong and at the same time sensitive man I am."

I can already see it all in front of me. Lee Taemin, trembling, holding his hands in front of his face and then, then I come into play.

It's just too easy to impress the ordinary people nowadays.

Taemin POV

Even though Minho has disguised himself so that no one recognises who he actually is, there are no fewer eyes on us. The cowboy hat, the clearly false beard, whose style used to be fashionable in the 70s, and the fat sunglasses don't exactly make us blend in with the crowd.

"What movie are we going to see?" I ask Minho excitedly. He has bought me so much popcorn that I could feed the entire city of Seoul with it. But there are also nachos and lots of sweets scattered around us.

"Saw. Part one to five." Minho grins over at me and raises his eyebrows in excitement.  My mouth drops open. Who would have thought that Choi Minho and little Lee Taemin would have something in common: The love for horror films!

...

"It happens to all of us." I say to Minho as we exit the cinema after the second movie.

He leans against me, I support him as best I can. Minho looks paler than the puppet from the movie.

"Well, the movies were really scary." I try to encourage him.

"So...many... intestines..." is all that comes out of him, miserably.

"I...thought... it... was... really... fun..." he gasps the words powerlessly.

"We should do this...AAHHH..." After he is done with screaming, Minho hastily reaches around me and pushes me in front of his body.

"It's all good. The lady just dropped her popcorn." I explain to him gently where the loud noise came from.

Minho opens one eye and peeks over my shoulder.

"Haha! I knew that!" abruptly he stands next to me, puts his hands on his hips and laughs.

"So if..." but before I can finish my sentence, Minho slowly raises his index finger. He looks to the left. He looks to his right.

"Excuse me, please." He says and walks over to one of the big trash cans.

I can't confirm that he is actually throwing up, but I can tell that his head fits right into the opening of the trash can.

"I think you need to air out the room before the next guests can come in." I whisper apologetically to one of the staff.
