The boy’s had Jackson’s house to themselves as his parents and brother went out for the night. Initially the elders were strict about the maknae line not drinking but relented in the end. Soon they all had alcohol in their hands, drinking happily. Jinyoung had sarcastically remarked that Yugyeom needed a straw in his beer, causing Yugyeom to glare and threaten to spill one of his many dark secrets. This successfully silenced Jinyoung.

At one point through the night Jinyoung went to get a snack from Jackson’s large kitchen. He found Jaebum grabbing chips out of the cupboards, already on the case.

“Make sure you get prawn cocktail. That’s the best flavour.” he instructed.

“For once we agree on something.” Jaebum replied, tossing him the bag. Jinyoung caught it with ease.

“For once you had a good idea, having this at Jackson’s place.”

“You’ve admitted I have good ideas before, don’t hide it.” he said, rolling his eyes.

“Whatever.” he scoffed, trying not to let the embarrassment take over. But he failed, heat rising to his cheeks a little. Jaebum noticed this.

“Peach pink.”

“Huh?” Jinyoung looked at him.

“It’s the colour you blush.” He looked back. “You’re blushing now.”

“Am not.” he insisted, feeling his cheeks hastily.

“Don’t be embarrassed Jinyoungie. Though it is cute.” Jaebum responded.

Jinyoung froze. Did his crush really just say that to him? The soccer player walked by him, holding another bag of chips. He paused just when he was behind Jinyoung.

“Oh, and remember when Bambam asked me about your and I said I didn’t have an opinion? I do now.” He glanced at Jinyoung’s and smirked. “And I’ve gotta say, your cheeks up here aren’t the only things that are peachy.” He left the room, still smiling smugly.

Jinyoung felt like he was going to pass out. Jaebum just said that he had a nice . He could practically hear Yugyeom or Jackson saying “even better for you when you it”. And Jinyoung agreed. He just wished Jaebum would hurry up and do it already.
