Back at the hotel, Min Young runs around the room flipping through clothes in the closet and screaming

while I stand and stare at her confused.

“Min Young?” I start to question.

“Mei, common! Let’s put together cute outfits and do each other’s hair!” She cries.

Min Young suddenly stops and holds up a really attractive pink dress that’s not too fancy, but also not too

casual.

“This is perfect!!!” She says all excited. “I’m going to the bathroom to curl my hair. Do you need anything?”

“Uh…no I’m fine” I answer.

I watch as she rushes into the bathroom. I slowly walk over to my dresser, and poke around my clothes. I

didn’t want to look too girly, that was never my style. I didn’t want to pretend to be something I wasn’t,

and I somewhat despise wearing dresses, so I decided to dress the way I normally did. I found a nice shirt

and a pair of jean shorts. As for shoes, I decided to wear a pair of converse-like flats. 

When Min Young came out of the bathroom, she had a huge smile on her face.

“So how do I look?” She asked.

“Oh wow, you look great Min Young.” I answered. She did look really pretty and her hair had curls hanging

down to her shoulders.

“Are you ready? Should we go?” She suddenly asked.

I could tell Min Young could hardly wait.

“Should we give him a call and tell him we’re coming over?” Min Young suddenly asks.

“Yyyeah, I suppose that’s the polite thing to do, but you have to do it!” I quickly say handing her the slip of

paper.

“What!? No, no, no. He gave you the phone number, and you’re more familiar with him anyways.” Min Young

quickly defends.

Then she dials the number and hands me the phone. I try to give it back to her, but she runs into the

bathroom and locks the door. Noooooooooooooo!

“Yeboseyo (hello)?” Lu Han says through the phone.

“Hi?” I answer, with my heart pounding so fast it’s like I just ran the 100-meter dash or something. “This

is Mei”

Lu Han quickly switches over to Chinese. “Ah, hi Mei, so have you decided to come over?” He knowingly says

as if he could read my mind, but I guess there wasn’t any other reason for me to call him anyways.

“Yes, is this a good time?” I ask so quietly I almost thought he wouldn’t be able to hear me.

“Yes, of course! I was hoping you would decide to come today.” Lu Han answered sounding excited. “Should

I come pick you up?”

“Uh…nno, that’s ok” I stutter thinking it would be too awkward to ask for a ride.

“Ok, well, see you soon!” He said as he hung up.

I take a deep breath and try to calm myself down from the phone call. Min Young walks out of the

bathroom with the silliest grin. We both start laughing with mixed feelings of excitement and nerves for

the upcoming visit to Lu Han’s house.

Outside the hotel, we call for a taxi. We both get in and continue to chat to calm our nerves. The taxi

drove around Seoul, and I looked out at the unfamiliar places with no clue of where we were. I noticed how

nice the weather was and how beautiful nature blended in with parts of the city. Aside from the

restaurants and markets with colorful posters of food, there were also gardens with ponds and various

flowers. The taxi started to drive up a steep hill where the houses were on the side of a mountain. When

we finally got to Lu Han’s house my heart almost skipped a beat.

“He lives in a mansion on the side of a mountain overlooking the entire city of SEOUL?!!?!” I almost shout

in excitement.

“Omo, it’s BEAUTIFUL!!” Min Young screams staring at the intricately designed house.

I slowly get out of the taxi never taking my eyes off of the house while Min Young pays the taxi driver. As

the taxi drives away, we both walk towards the front door. Before we even get there, the front door

opens and it’s none other than Lu Han. My heart is racing and I suddenly feel self conscious. I hope I don’t

look weird, was coming here a mistake?

….but the scene that almost gives me a heart attack is all the Exo members standing curiously behind Lu

Han with welcoming smiles….
