After our short conversation, we had to hurry to board the plane. It was early in the morning, but there

was already a long line of impatient people at the airport. When we finally paid for our luggage and sat on

the plane, I still felt like I was half dreaming. Sitting next Min Young and realizing that I would be in

South Korean for the first time tomorrow morning! I happily looked out the window as the plane took off.

I saw the buildings and the cars get smaller and smaller as the plane rose into the pink and orange tainted

sky. Finally we were in the middle of the clouds and everything was white. A few minutes later, the

stewardess came with our complimentary burger and drink. Min Young and I ate and talked about the past

6 years being apart. After discussing school, our new friends, and other important events, we finally got

around to Exo and our upcoming Korean adventure.

“So… who’s your favorite Exo member?” Min Young asks.

“Oh wow, they’re all amazing! But I’m head over heels in love with Lu han!!!” I answer with a dreamy look in my eyes.

“I think Se Hun and Kai are really hot! But I love Baekhyun’s y voice. It’s kind of hard to choose just one member.” Min Young says.

“Yeah, I totally see what you mean.” I say while secretly picturing Lu Han’s perfect face in my mind.

“Ya! I know that look on your face. Don’t think that since I haven’t seen you in 6 years that I can’t

recognize your secret thoughts! So you’re completely bias to Lu Han, huh?” She narrows her eyes.

“Hey, it’s not a sin to be bias. Lu Han is the most beautiful Chinese boy I’ve ever seen, and I love his

innocent eyes and baby face!” I say in a defensive tone.

The conversation goes on for another hour as we talk about other kpop groups and the recent kdramas we

watched. The stewardess announces that they are going to dim the lights so we can sleep and not be jet

lagged when we arrive in Seoul. It takes me a while to calm down from the excitement, but I eventually fall

asleep while thinking about waking up and looking out the window down at Seoul.

I wake up with Min Young tugging my arm.

“Mei, wake up. We’re here.” She whispers.

“What?!” I sit up in my seat a little dazed.

“I said, we’re here. It’s almost time to get off the plane.” She answers.

When I’m fully awake, I quickly summarize everything that happened yesterday. Seeing Min Young…

airport….Exo…..South Korea…

“Oh gosh!! We’re in Seoul!?!” I almost scream ecstatically.

“Yeah, look out the window.” Min Young chuckles, her two eyes like crescent moons( ^_^).  

I quickly pull aside the screen.

“ WOW! It’s beautiful!!” I declare in awe.

Looking down at Seoul was the most amazing scene ever. I felt a rush of happiness and a small chill down

my back. It looked just like the beginning of SNSD and Suju’s music video “Seoul”.  There were so many

buildings, and I immediately recognized the Han River. I turned back to Min Young seeing a wide smile on

her face. We both quietly squeal as the stewardess announces our landing.  

Within a few minutes, I felt the wheels of the plane hit the ground. The passengers gathered their

belongings and everyone started moving off the plane. Min Young and I walk through the tunnel and into

Incheon International Airport.
