The Park

Our South Korean Adventure

Mei’s POV

I’m starting to believe the fact that I used to be a diehard Exo fan. At first I was a little skeptical, but

after seeing them dance this morning, it’s easy to see why I was. I’m beginning to like this Exo group more

and more. Plus, that Lu Han kid is really nice.

When they finish dancing, one of the guys (Su Ho…I think?) says something in Korean. The rest of them

answer in agreement, but then Lu Han says something else. The other guys start laughing and getting all

excited. I turn to Min Young hoping she could explain what was going on, but she seems to be paying really

close attention.

The next thing I know, Lu Han is walking towards me while the other guys leave together.

“Should we go with them now?” I ask curiously.

“Ummm, actually I want to show you something.” Lu Han says. “Before you lost your memory, I promised I

would show you around Seoul.”

“Uh, ok” I answer a little confused. I must’ve forgotten more than I thought. Oh well, exploring Seoul

sounds fun.

Lu Han walks to the door signaling I should follow him.

We walk along the streets of Seoul where Lu Han buys me a bunch of delicious looking foods on a stick

from the street venders. At first I was a little hesitant, but tried everything and loved them all.

We continued walking to a park where a lot of people were riding on bikes. The sidewalk was still wet from

the yesterday’s rainstorm, but it was a sunny day today. We walk past an empty swing set, and Lu Han asks

me if I want to swing.

“Isn’t it wet?” I ask scrunching my nose.

“Only a little, does that bother you?” Lu Han replies raising an eyebrow, challenging me to answer.

“Uh, no, I guess not” I give in.

I walk over and sit in the swing. Before I can start swinging, Lu Han walks behind me and starts pushing

me.

“You know…I do know how to swing on my own. It’s not that hard.” I say over my shoulder.

“Oh” Lu Han says from behind. “Well, I just thought, since I’m the guy, I should push you. Isn’t that how it

goes?”

“Well, I thought that was only when the girl didn’t know how to swing.” I say.

“Maybe that only happens in the dramas” Lu Han shrugs and sits in the swing next to mine. “In that case,

wanna see who can swing higher?”

“Okay…don’t cry if you lose” I tease.

Lu Han just laughs and we start the contest. It wasn’t long before we were both going as high as the swing

could go. The sun was shining warmly on my face, and I could almost see over the treetops. We were both

laughing like children and I felt really comfortable with Lu Han, it was different from my usual tenseness

around other guys.

After swinging, we ran over to the play structure and started playing “Groundies”. You know, that game

where one person closes their eyes and tries to tag the other on the play structure?

Lu Han was it and I tried to not make noises so he wouldn’t be able to find me, but every time he got close,

I couldn’t stop myself from bursting out laughing. Then we would end up laughing uncontrollably together.

We played in the park the entire afternoon and left when the sun set.

Min Young’s POV

Se Hun and I followed Mei and Lu Han up until we realized all they were going to do was play in the park.

We decided they deserved some privacy so we left.

Now we’re back at the house with a few of the Exo members who want to spend the night discussing plans

for their comeback stage.

“It’s in 5 days!” Baekhyun shouts from the couch where he was lying down relaxing.

“I know!!” Kai shouts back from the kitchen table where he was playing cards with D.O., Chanyeol, and Su

Ho. “Soo Man’s been counting down the days since he started planning our comeback!”

“Ya, doesn’t that mean the Exo-M members will be headed off to China soon?” Chanyeol asks.

“Yes is does” Lay replies from the spot where he was reading a book.

Then Mei and Lu Han walk in.

“Hyung!” Se Hun runs to Lu Han. “So where did you guys go?” He asks innocently.

“Oh, just the park” Lu Han replies as if it wasn’t a big deal at all.

The rest of the Exo members have stopped what they were doing and gathered around Lu Han.

“Ya, stop making such a big deal out of this!” Lu Han shouts and walks up into his room.

Mei stands there and watches him. Oh, right. She has no idea what’s going on because she doesn’t speak

Korean. Hehe ^^

Kris grins knowingly and walks away. The other members start going back to what they were doing.
