The End
Our South Korean AdventureMei’s POV
The morning I was going to leave South Korea, Lu Han, Min Young, and Se Hun accompanied me to the airport. Min Young was all
teary-eyed, and it was almost like she was feeling sadder than I was. Se Hun was trying to calm her down and make her feel
better. I think she was feeling bad for not only me, but Lu Han as well. I kept trying to tell her that it wasn’t a bad thing that I
was leaving, but every time she looked over at Lu Han, she would burst into tears. Lu Han didn’t look sad. I don’t know if he was
hiding it well or if he also accepted the fact that I really had to leave.
In the car, it was quiet except Min Young’s occasional sniffle. I just looked out the window at the calm morning sun rising over
the beautiful landscape. I was deep in thought, reviewing the months I spent in Korea. The most amazing months of my life so
far. I had to accept the fact that my South Korean adventure had to end, and I had a range of mixed emotions. I was a little sad
that I had to return to America to continue college, but I was so incredibly happy I made so many new friends in South Korea.
Kai, Se Hun, Chen, Baekhyun, Tao, Kris, Lay, Chanyeol, Su Ho, D.O., Xiu Min…..and especially Lu Han.
Although I’m not girly, sweet, or even close to perfect, I somehow managed to capture Lu Han’s heart. While we were waiting for
my plane to arrive at the airport, Lu Han secretly describes how he fell in love with me.
He says I’m beautiful in my own special way and that loves the way I think everything that is too good to be true is awkward in a
sense. He likes my genuine personality, and my natural sense of humor. Lu Han is also the first person to ever tell me I was
pretty. Actually, he said I was gorgeous.
Lu Han treats every girl extremely nice because he’s just a nice person in general, but he takes spends extra time caring for me.
At the very end, he tells me he looks forward to seeing me again one day, and that he’ll always remember the months we spent
together.
As I walk towards the entrance to the airplane, I turn and wave to Lu Han. He smiles and waves back, and the last thing I see is
his beautifully bright face and the closing door.
