Mei’s POV

Still wrapped in his arms, I look up at Lu Han with watery eyes. He’s smiling, but his smile disappears when

he sees me crying.

“Did you miss me that much?” He asks, trying to cheer me up.

“No, I’m just so happy that you’re back” I answer, knowing that he doesn’t realize how overjoyed I am to

finally remember everything now.

“You know I would never leave you. Even when I’m gone you can always think of me.” Lu Han says smiling

again.

“You have no idea…” I say, thinking about how I had forgotten the guy I would never in my life want to

forget again.

After our short conversation, I turn to look at the people standing around. Min Young has tears in her eyes

and Se Hun’s arm is around her shoulder. The Exo-K members are relieved and patting each other’s backs.

The Exo-M members, who don’t really know what’s going on, are all smirking and probably thinking

inappropriate thoughts.

“Get a room!” Chen suddenly shouts jokingly.

“Hey, that’s enough you two!” Tao laughs.

“Ya, you guys have no idea how special this moment is!!” Min Young shouts angrily.

Lu Han and I separate. He and the Exo-M members, go upstairs to unpack.

“I’ll explain everything when you guys get back down!” Min Young shouts while they are heading upstairs.

“I think it’s quite obvious without an explanation” Xiu Min shouts from the stairs.

“Ugh, boys! They think they know everything” Min Young says to herself out loud.

Su Ho and Chanyeol walk into the kitchen and start preparing dinner.

“Aren’t I supposed to cook?” I suddenly remember and ask Min Young.

“It’s ok; you’ve gone through enough today. Just take a break, we don’t want another accident happening”

Min Young replies.

Min Young’s POV

While we are all eating at the dinner table, I start explaining everything that happened to the Exo-M

members while they were gone. Exo-K isn’t really listening because they know everything already. When I

finish I look around at their surprised faces. Kris nods slowly. Lay’s trying to piece it all together. Lu Han

seems like he’s thinking really hard.

“Whao, I didn’t think it was that serious.” Xiu Min says apologetically.

“Waaa, I’m confused” Chen says covering his face.

“Guys, it’s not that complicated. Mei lost her memory and got it back after seeing Lu Han, the end” Tao

sums it up while taking a bit of rice.

“Well, if you put it that way” Chen goes backs to eating as if nothing happened.

After dinner, the members all head over to the couch to relax and watch T.V. Some of the Exo-K members

decide to head back to the dorm. Se Hun stays because of me, and Kai stays because he’s closer to Se Hun

and Lu Han. Mei and Lu Han are sitting together talking. They seem to be back to normal.

Mei’s POV

My emotions are perfectly balanced now. Before my first memory loss incident, I was too self-conscious to

act normal around Lu Han. I couldn’t get rid of my practical personality and enjoy the fact that I was lucky

enough to meet the Lu Han of Exo. Then after my memory loss, I wasn’t able to appreciate Lu Han to the

fullest because I forgot how big of a deal it was to even see him in real life. But I did the chance to fall in

love with Lu Han the person instead of Lu Han from Exo. Now, I love both and they’ve become just Lu Han.

My Lu Han.   

“Should I take you to China the next time I go?” Lu Han jokes.

“No, that won’t be necessary” I say sighing a little.

“So how does it feel to be in a relationship with the Lu Han?” Lu Han continues to joke.

“Wait…how do you know I call you the Lu Han??!?!” I ask totally surprised.

“Haha, you tend to talk in your sleep. It’s quite amusing actually.” Lu Han says laughing.   

“Awww, that’s so embarrassing! What else did you hear?” I ask covering my red cheeks.  

“Well, other than the fact that I’m your ultimate bias in Exo, you think I smell nice, and everything that’s

happened to you so far is awkward…there’s really nothing” Lu Han casually smiles trying not to sound like

he’s making fun of me.

I feel my face redden even more, if that’s even possible.

The next few weeks pass by pretty quickly. All of the Exo members have been busy going on various

variety shows gaining an even larger number of fans. Min Young and I go back and forth between taking

classes at the university and spending time with Exo. Everything is great, except one thing that’s been on

my mind lately: the date Min Young and I have to go back to America.

“Is coming soon isn’t it?” I ask Min Young one morning at the breakfast table when it was just me and her.

“What’s coming soon?” Min Young asks looking up from her bowl of cereal.

“The day we have to leave South Korea.” I answer. “The exchange program ends in a week, and we can’t

stay much longer after that”

“Right…about that…”Min Young says slowly. “I think I’m just going to stay in South Korea with Se Hun.”

“What?!?!” I ask wondering why she didn’t tell me sooner.

“Well, you see…since my grandparents live here, my parents are fine with me finishing college here and

getting a job” Min Young says.

“Awww, I thought we were both on the same page here” I whine.

“Mei, aren’t you going to stay for Lu Han?” Min Young asks.

“I…I dunno. I can’t live in Korea. I can’t speak, read, or write Korean…I have to go back” I say quietly.

“What about Lu Han?” She asks.

“I don’t know Min Young…I don’t know…”
