"You're part of the Parks..." Jiyong mumbles, looking around the house. "The heiress even. This is where you grew up in?"

"Mm." Dara nods as she walks behind Jiyong who's looking around their photos. "I don't really want to inherit the business but I have learned to love it so I can't really let go..."

"but?" Jiyong faces her and Dara gave a small smile, "but I want my peace. We've been away from the public eye ever since and I wanted to keep it that way."

Jiyong looks down on his shoe, "so eitherway, you still can't be with me..." Damned if she's broke, damned if she's rich. Jiyong almost laughed bitterly.

"Ji, I said wanted." Dara cups his face to make him look at her. "Past tense. Honestly, I still want to but I want to give us a try. It's already hard enough to keep a low profile, it'll be harder when we get together. I don't mind it getting out, it's inevitable at this point but I want to keep it a secret as long as we could."

"You want to be with me?" Jiyong whispers in disbelief making Dara snicker, "You think I just kiss anyone Kwon? on the street at that? I'm very cautious you know." Jiyong chuckles, nodding

"Very." He agrees, taking her hands in his. "Does that mean we're together now?" Dara smiles, nodding.

"Then I can kiss you?" he asks but he's already leaning in. Dara's answer was simply closing her eyes and tilting her head. Jiyong's heart thudded to his chest as their lips meet, the day he thought will go for the worst just turned out to be the best. His tongue knocks on Dara's lips and sighs as their tongues collide, it's a slow passionate kiss and Jiyong finds contentment with it, he doesn't hurry nor escalates it to something more aggressive which was new for him. Jiyong doesn't do slow when it comes to intimacy, they'd be by now if it were him before.

They break the kiss after feeling out of breath, foreheads resting to one another, Jiyong's thumb brushed Dara's cheek as he cups her face. Comfortable silence fell upon them. "Now you know the truth, please don't get carried away when you hear someone talk behind my back ok?" Dara says in a low voice 

"I'll try." Dara sighs, holding his hand and pulling away. "Ji, you already know what people are gonna say and some, if not most, will surely have that mindset and we can't do anything about it."

"We can sue for defamation, it's tainting your image."

"How would it be defamatory if they don't have a name?" Jiyong grumbles under his breath and Dara chuckles, pulling him for a hug which he automatically wraps his arms around her wais
