“What is it, Kwon?” Jiyong smiles just hearing her voice. He was so pissed at what his dad is trying to say. He should be thanking dara that he didn’t raise hell with him after everything. If it was the old jiyong, he’d have a grudge from his dad kicking him out of the company and his own house but he was somehow thankful cause in a way, he got to know Dara.

“No good eveni—ok! Ok, just don’t hang up.” Laughing, jiyong sat up and he see her eye rolling and putting her phone back on her ear. Knowing she just made a move to hang up on him. God he miss living with her. An idea suddenly popped up his head “Say, why not save rent and live with me instead?” 

“What?” Dara paused on her writing and put her pen down, deciding to pay attention to what jiyong is saying on the other line

“Why don’t we switch to video call? Selfie cameras exist for a reason.” 

“Kwon, I told you I’m working on weekdays Get to the point.” Even if she said that, dara leaned back on her headboard to relax and listen to his voice. She admits, he sounds good over the phone, making her smile

“It’s already late. I doubt you’re still in school.” Jiyong did a mental note to see Dara’s boss for overworking her employees.

“What? Did you forget already? All the things I made you do?” Jiyong winced, remembering all the projects she had him made with her

“School hours being over doesn’t mean a teacher’s job is over” he mumbles

“Correct!” Jiyong slouched but then quickly stood up and picked up his jacket and car keys. “Then I should go help—“

“You have work too, don’t you?”

“No.” He squeaks, denying while a pile of work load is on his office desk

“See you on Saturday, Kwon. Goodnight.” And just like that she hangs up on him. Motivated, Jiyong threw his car keys and jacket back to his side table and hurried to his office where he worked hard until he slept. Making sure nothing will be on his way for the weekends.

Groaning, jiyong sat up and cringed as he tried to shook off the stiffness that occurred when he slept slouching down on his table which isn’t very comfortable.

“It’s been a while since I saw you working like that.” Jiyong jumped on his seat, startled at his father. He didn’t even realize he was there.
