[CONTENTID2]A few years have passed since Haera’s first participation in the Halloween event and she was now in her third year of college. When Umji asked if she wanted to go back again with her to the docks of Monerosia the next year and the year after that, Haera flat out refused, saying that she didn’t feel comfortable going back. The main reason was that if her memories were erased, they must have been done so to protect her from reliving that night, whatever it may be.

Instead, in order to help alleviate the burdens of her tuition expenses, she started working part time around Halloween to make use of the week off that they had. Last year, she worked at the pet store and this year, she was now working at a private tailoring shop inside the mall near their school.

The shop usually took in big name clients who wanted personalized suits and dresses tailored to their needs. Although they occasionally had walk-ins from the general public who would buy from the racks that were already premade. At first, Haera thought that it was just going to be a normal tailoring shop. However, after working there for a week, a VIP client walked in which opened her eyes to another world beyond those simple dressing rooms. Think of the movie John Wick: Chapter 2 where Keanu Reeves slid a coin to a seamstress to get into a private fitting session. Working at this shop was like that, minus the under the table transactions.

“Welcome to Fantasia X,” Haera smiled at the couple who walked into the store hand in hand. “How may I help you today?”

“My husband needs a suit for his business trip,” the woman calmly replied with a smile. 

“Of course,” Haera led them deeper into the shop. She escorted them to the various racks that boasted simple yet elegantly designed suits that would be a perfect fit for business clients. “We can alter the sizes later,” she added. “Please take your time choosing. I will be here if you have any questions.”

“Deliveries!” A chipper voice rang from the entrance. 

“Oh!” Haera excused herself from the couple who thanked her in return. She then returned back to the counter near the glass doors and beamed at the man. “Hey, Sungjin. How’s it going?”

“Oh you know, the usual,” he grinned, pulling his Fantasia X designed hat down a bit to cover his bangs. Sungjin wore a simple uniform much like Haera’s which was a black long sleeved shirt with the Fantasia X logo etched on the left side of the chest. Except for Sungjin, there was an extra word that read ‘deliveries’ at the bottom of the logo.

The both of them continued to exchange banter as they did the necessary papers for the transfer. Once the last signature was made, they looked at each other knowingly.

“So,” she skeptically looked at him, “These suits all look similar? For just one person?”

“Hmm, there are slight differences but overall, yep.”

“All seven of them?”

Sungjin shrugged, his eyes shining as the light from above reflected on them. “Down to the color and style minus the slight alterations.”

“Huh,” she nodded, “must be some sort of long family party.”

“Or it’s for a boy band member who needs similar stage costumes,” he remarked, earning a chuckle from the woman. “Hey, you never know.”

“You and your jokes,” she shook her head and gave him a wave when he turned around and did the same. “See ya!” With one last goodbye, Sungjin left with the clipboard in hand, leaving Haera back to accompany the customers she welcomed earlier.

The day went by slowly for the workers at Fantasia X. There weren’t as many customers or clients today which wasn’t a surprise. Most of their products were of high end embroideries which meant that the patrons they served were usually of the wealthy or for those who needed outfits for the right occasions. That didn’t bother Haera though. Whenever the shop was calm, she’d take out a book, study material, or make use of the time to clean around the store.

With a light ding from the detector which signaled that a new customer walked in, Haera quickly shut the book in her hand and went behind the counter. 

“Welcome to Fantasia X,” she greeted with her usual smile. “How may I help you today?”

The man stopped the moment he saw her. His unique green hued eyes blinked once before he scanned the woman from top to bottom as if he wanted to make sure that the person who was in front of him was real. He wore a simple velvet black suit which matched his regal aura. There was a silver chain that dangled from the right side of his pant leg that glimmered in the light as he shifted positions. His brick red velvet shirt which had the top three buttons loose was tucked inside his matching slacks. A delicate brooch was clipped on the left side lapel which had a chain attached to the nearest outside pocket. All in all, with his sharp features along with his hair neatly gelled and styled back, the man who just walked in looked majestic.

The man smirked at her direction after a while, making Haera’s own smile falter a bit. She felt goosebumps and a bit paranoid as to why a stranger would look at her that way.

“Hello, love,” his deep voice had a tinge of mischievousness draped in it. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here at all.” He slightly cocked his head to the left and placed his hands in his pockets. “What a coincidence.”

“I’m sorry, sir,” she tried to keep her smile from wavering on her face. “I don't know what you’re talking about nor have I ever met you.”

“Of course,” he snickered. “Well,” he walked to the front of the counter and propped both of his elbows on it. “I’m here to pick up some suits under the name of Changkyun.”

Haera faced the computer beside her and started typing. “Is there a last name?”

“No,” he simply replied.

“Oh,” her eyes lit up when she saw the familiar order. “Your suits came in this morning. All seven of them.”

“Excellent,” he grinned, slapping the glass counter with a hand. “May I try them on first?”

“Of course, Mr. Changkyun,” Haera stepped away from the counter and led him to the back where a tall mirror that spanned from the roof to the waxed tiles stood. “Please wait here.”

“Please,” he corrected her before she could disappear, “call me Changkyun. No need to be so formal.”

Nodding at his request, she turned around and went to the back to get his customized order. In the meantime, Changkyun went over to one of the provided sofas, unfastening the button of his suit first before sitting down and crossing one leg over the other.

When Haera came back with seven suit garment bags with the Fantasia X logo etched on the front, she hung them on the rack by the viewing mirror while Changkyun casually stood beside her as he scanned each one. After the third swipe, he opened the next bag and took off his current suit jacket before draping it across the sofa’s arm. 

The new suit jacket that Changkyun ordered was midnight blue in color. An assortment of chains and brooches in various shapes and sizes dangled on the right side of the jacket, decorating the otherwise simple colored fabric. He carefully slid his arms inside the respective areas and gave the lapels a firm tug before appearing in front of the mirror.

“Hmm,” he inspected his reflection with a few twists and turns. 

For some reason, Haera couldn’t take her eyes off the stoic looking man. Unlike her previous customers, there was something about this man named Changkyun that drew her closer to him. She was definitely sure that they never met which made her feel ridiculous for even feeling attracted to him at first glance. As she stood there while he examined himself with his new purchase, she couldn’t resist thinking that even with the brick colored shirt he wor
